Frankie blushed and recovered at hearing her say that. Yes, he was older than her and she was too young for him, right? but it didn't play a role in what his heart had wanted. It was so awful how he tried for a while not to allow his love for Lucy show. He had thought it was wrong of him. An older boy like him wanted to hold on to a younger girl like her, yet there was no logic in love. If there were, nobody would be in love, right? It was just a very warming relief to finally live in his love for Lucy and for her love for him. If it was possible since Lucy didn't think so with them.
"No, not anymore. You're mature for your age. I'll be proud if you dated me." He blurted out emotionally. He breathed deeply and embraced her as well. It felt good to have her arms wrapped around his neck. The coldness of her skin was actually quite a pleasure since he overheated quickly. The kiss on his cheek was blissfully seeping cold and he couldn't stop but return the kiss on her own cheek. The cold heat stuck him, but he didn't let himself down. Of course, the cold of her skin reminded him.
Lucy would be forever fourteen. It wasn't fine for her to be fourteen forever. Whoever turned her so young wasn't his friend and he wanted to make that lousy good-for-nothing vamp pay for his or her crime. Why did Lucy have to be a vampire? And if Frankie himself wanted to be with her, he needed to be turned as well. Yet Lucy couldn't until her fifth year as a vampire, and he didn't want to wait to be with her. He'll be in his twenties, and she'll looked fourteen. It wouldn't be fair to allow him to age. He sighed and looked into her eyes.
Should he be turned vampire? Should he stay human? It was so hard to make the call. He liked his life. He had friends though one, Lily, wasn't doing so well. He had family who wouldn't want him to change. Friends, too. He had his whole life ahead of him yet he didn't want to left Lucy all alone. He loved her too much. Also, if he did decide to become vampire, who would turned him? He knew only a hand full, and didn't know if they were capable at this time. What should he do? He didn't know.

Tears would be burning her eyes if they could. Swallowing she clung to him and never wanted to let go. Finally admitting their love made her happy. Clinging to him she made sure she didn’t hurt him. He was special and wouldn’t be good to crush him. Holding her arms around him she heard him and wanted to cry. Oh how she wished she could. He was so kind. So sweet. So romantic and he probably didn’t even know it. How could she reply to that? Just hearing him say that made her speechless. ”I would be excited to date you. Very.”she said softly when he kissed her cheek. Feeling the warm from his body just made her warm up. Even though she was cold she felt warm being in his arms. This was something she wanted to feel forever but couldn’t give him this life.
Lucy pulled from the hug and looked down taking his hand. Those thoughts crossed her mind. Blinking she swallowed and looked down. ”I…Frankie…I can’t give you this life. I just can’t. You have a life. Your future is so bright. Mine never was. You have your friends, your family, your future. I’m sorry Frankie. I can’t…no I wont do this to you. I will be fine. You will grow old and be happy.”she said softly. Lucy couldn’t do this to him. She loved him and no matter how much she loved him she couldn’t help but want him to live. He needed to. He should. Frankie had a future and she didn’t. Lucy Weasley was a vampire and she knew that Franklin Longbottom deserved to have a future. He could live for both of him. There was no way Lucy would turn him into what she is. It would kill her to take his future.
Frankie actually had a choice unlike Lucy who didn’t. But of course Sebastian had told her that she had asked him to turn her. She couldn’t remember anything but she believed him. Why would he lie to her about this? Looking down she rested the top of her head against his chest and just looked down. Breathing falsely and lightly she just rested against him. Frankie could live happy without Lucy. She didn’t want to interfere and be in the way of his life. His future. Lucy didn’t want to be responsible for taking his life from him. That would haunt her forever.

Frankie was happy, happier than before, finally he declare his love. The burning flame that kept hurting him and returning hotter and stronger than before because he couldn't tell her, but finally he did and the flame of his love was at ease yet in its full bloom. It blossomed in the pit of his heart and flowered its petals for all to show. His love shined brightest in his eyes and his grin seem abnormally wide with his declaration and warmth of his emotions in flight. He was thankful to finally say it and to say it to the one he loved was the most wonderful feeling of all. Pride filled him and his heart seem to grow in its capabilities.
It was never ending this emotion and this love that it wouldn't surprise if he had died from it and been reborn, for he felt that way on the inside. His soul was floating and soaring high yet he remain on the ground, holding his beloved in arms of joy and happiness. He could of swore that he felt wings folding into them, making a private closure into them so nobody could torn them apart. It was exciting to him and it was more amazing when Lucy told him she was excited to date him. He thought they could just spread wings out and fly away at that moment.
"I'll be honored," Frankie told her and kissed her lips. Giving her his joy and living breath, so she could feel alive even though she wasn't at the time. He converted so much of himself in his kiss that it was like a piece of his soul had came out of his and into hers, joining together with her own soul. His beating living chest against her unbeating undead one's as passion and arousal entered into the kiss. It was bliss beyond bliss and love beyond love, but still all him, himself, and her. For Frank couldn't think about loving another, not now nor ever. Of course, this moment wasn't going to last or it would had last a bit longer if Lucy didn't answer his unspoken questions to himself.
Shattered dreams entered and doubt, and it felt like a ragged rusty dagger had just pierce his heart. Why? Oh Why? Why did she needed to bring that up. Why bring it up now when he was at his happiest in all his life. Shattered broken pieces of glass seem to fall all around him and his chest tighten in his pain. It was the worse feeling and right after a stronger most wondrous mystical awe of his joy and his love. It felt like his heart was bleeding out of a stabbed wound but worse than that. And coming from Lucy it was harder and almost overwhelming.
Frank pulled away a bit, but soon brought Lucy closer to him. One hand cupping the back of her head to hold her head gently on his chest, the other wrapped around her keeping her close and safe as he buried his face in her hair. He breathed deeply in her scent, trying to release some of the tension and agony of that rejection. Yes, it was silent and it's reasonable, but he hadn't yet really decide to do it yet and being deny before he made up his mind and voiced it out loud was very hard to take.
"Lucy...Lucy," he paused and took a much needed breath. "Lucy, I know all of that. I know. But you did have a future," he said softly and planted a kiss on her forehead. "It was taken, maybe not your choice, maybe you did wanted it, but still you did have it. You had your family. You will always have me." He said with a shaken voice. "Lucy, don't say that," he licked his suddenly dried lips. "Don't say that. My future might not be so wonderful. You don't know. And...Lucy... I'm sorry. It is my decision. I don't know yet what I want to be, but I know one thing I want you. I love you so much. It's hard to breath without you. I'm so so sorry, Lucy. I should have listen to my heart and told you how I feel long before. I'm sorry I didn't. I'm such a coward," he laughed humorlessly. "And I'm suppose to be a Gryffindor."

Lucy smiled kissing him back loving every second of it. The kiss made her forget she was in fact undead. Holding the kiss for as long as she could but that’s when the realization hit her. She was a vampire and she could never be happy. Her world shattered fast. After she had spoke her piece she looked at him and then rested her head against his chest and dry sobbed. Wrapping her arms around his waist shaking from her sobs. She didn’t want this to end. She just wanted to be with him like this forever. Never moving. Just frozen like this forever.
Hearing him say her name she just rested there. No moving on her part. Standing there clinging to him she just held him there but didn’t hold to tight. Hearing him she just clung to him. Oh how she wished she could cry. Lucy looked up at him and blinked. His voice shook and she wanted to fix it. She didn’t want him to be say. As he continued and finished she shook her head and touched his cheek. ”No. You’re not a coward. You are brave. You are sticking close to a vampire. You love me. That is brave, Frankie. Don’t let anybody tell you differently. You’re my Frankie. I shouldn’t have said anything.”she said and looked around and kissed him lightly on the lips then pulled away and lowered her voice to say, ”Let’s go talk somewhere more private, Frankie.”
