Beyond Thunderdome {Battle of Bands Part One

Benny smiled and held her close. He was just more affectionate to her these days. He obviously loved her more than anything. He kissed the top of her head affectionately and said, "you look simply radiant when you smile." then he chuckled and added, "just imagine me with the guys or worse with Izzy... hard to keep things from her, but i will try my best. Perhaps a few months to a year? like the original day of you know..." he wasn't going to say the word Engagement anymore. His voice was low and barely above a whisper. Then he added with a teasing tone, "During the guys' encore... i want you close to where i am going to be for part of the song..." It was his way of telling her that the song was Wings on Fire

Izabella slowly walked into the venue and smiled down holding her daughter's hand. She decided to let her go and hang out with the boys alone. Izzy wasn't in the mood to socialize. Taking a deep breath she wandered off sitting at a table and laid her head down not wanting to talk to anyone. Madee went and found Benny and hugged his waist. "Benny! Emi!"[/color]she said smiling up at them. She was happy to be here with them. She didn’t hear what they were talking about she just was happy to see them.

Aurora sighed and looked up. She shook her head. She was trying to decide if she really wanted to go in. Blinking she took in a deep breath and finally walked in. She looked around biting her lip. Almost everyone was here that was at the practice. Biting her lip she stood there and glanced around for Jerad. Biting her lip she looked up. She saw him and tilted her head. He was staking cards? She laughed lightly then pulled out her wand and said a spell to finish his card house for him. She stepped out of the way to the door and waited for Jerad to turn around.

Paix smiled as she pranced through Hogsmeade. In a good mood like always. She laughed lightly as she licked her sucker. It was a banana flavored one. Looking up she found the bar where her finacee worked and walked inside laughing lightly. Quickly walking over to the bar she got behind it not caring if he would quick her out and walked over to Brayden, wrapping her arms around him, then kissed him on the cheek. ”Hey babe.”[/color]she said looking up at him and laughed lightly hugging him close.

Lucien stood outside his own bar and took a deep breath. Vero had requested for him to come. He smiled at the thought that she was his. Taking in a false breath he rushed off to the venue and walked inside. He shuddered at the smell of wet dog but calmed himself and smiled seeing the beautiful Vero. His beautiful Vero. Walking to her he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her hair. ’I told you I’d come.”[/color]he said softly in her ear before kissing her cheek. He was happy to see her and he was sure she was happy to see him.

Benji gave Cass a quizzical look and muttered, "curiouser and curiouser." when she said that she didn't know what the cause could be. He didn't think it had to do with a sickness... at least it wasn't like what happened before. "all i know... it is not the poison...." he said in a musing tone.

Benny laughed lightly when he was hugged by Madee. "hey Madee... great to see you. lovely outfit, don't you think so, Emi?" He hugged her back and asked, "is your mother alright?" to Madee when he spotted Izzy with her head down. this was so unlike her, he thought. Normally He would have seen Izzy over with them laughing and joking or something. He was worried.

Jerad had been stacking cards again. But soon it magically set itself up. hmmm... odd. he thought. He glanced around, and noted that everyone else seemed busy, so he couldn't figure who did it. Or at least that was until he looked over in the doorway. A huge grin crept up on his face as he jumped up and ran over to Aurora. "Aurora, dear, I am glad to see you made it" He gave her a hug happily. He had certainly missed her. well at least at the practices and stuff. So he was glad to see her. "come on over and join the 'fun' before the show..." he said with a mirthless laugh.

Brayden had been busy chatting with Jay and Selena, that he didn't notice Paix come in, until she had come over and wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek. He grinned and said, "Hey yourself beautiful." He kissed her back on the cheek. He hugged her and then for no real reason he, picked her up and sat her on the Bar. "missed you... how are you?"

[SELENA.ISABELLA.JOHNSON]

Feeling him pull her close to him, she accepted that and melted a bit into his arms. It was nice to be like this even in front of people. Before it would bother Emi, but she had grown to love the public affection. Listening to his compliment she looked at him and couldn't help but smile. "Danca liebe." She said leaning back against his chest completely. Listening to what he had to say about telling them later she nodded her head in agreement. "I agree. We should tell them later. Don't want to seem like we rushed into anything you know. But I do have to say, I'm glad I was surprised." Sighing, she watched everyone else conversing. It was like she had forgotten that they were all in the room. Then looking at Benny by tilting her head back she kind of gave him a confused expression. "Sure. I'll be there." Before looking back, she gave him an upside down kiss on the lips then looked to see Madee coming over there. Smiling, she pulled out gently of Benny's grasp and went to give the little girl a hug. "How are you Madee? It's good to see you. Where's your mommy?" She asked then noticing the Izzy was over by herself. That wasn't good. Hmmmm. "I'll be back." She said to Benny then walked over to Izzy. "Hey girl. Why so down?" She asked genuinely concerned about her friend.

Taking another drink of her blood, Vero was about full from the temporary relief. Swallowing it, she was about to order another one when Lucien came in and wrapped his arms around her. It startled her a bit and she jumped, then put a hand on her chest. "Oh my gawd you scared me. I thought I could tell that you were coming in, but I was too preoccupied." Getting up and giving him a hug, Vero was extremely happy that he had come. Leaning back a second to face him, she let her lips come in contact with his for a sweet kiss. "I'm so glad you came." She said absolutely beaming.

Madee hugged him smiling then hugged Emi smiling. Giggling she spun a little. ”Thank you. Mummy let me pick it out. I love the tutu. Do you think I can be a part of the band when I’m big?”[/color]she asked pouting cutely at Benny. She hoped he said yes. Madee loved coming to their practices and concerts and stuff. She had always enjoyed it. No matter what happened she would always enjoy it.

Aurora stood there waiting and watched as he looked around then saw her. She smiled and hugged him back. ”I thought I should be here for this one. It’s kinda big right?”she asked then kissed his cheek and pulled away taking his hand then sighed. ”Are you sure?”[/color]she asked hesitantly. She didn’t want to have to leave again.

Izabella sat there with her head on the table still. She was depressed and didn’t know what to do. She jumped alittle hearing Emi and looked up at her. Sighing she sat there thinking a moment. ”Guy trouble…”[/color]she said softly staring at the table then gestured to the seat across from her. ”I’m not allowed to be happy.”[/color]she said softly to Emi and glanced over to the other couples and felt tears burn her eyes looking back at the table. Everyone had someone but her.

Paix smiled hearing Brayden and felt him kiss her cheek. She blushed lightly hearing him. ”Thank you.”she said then giggled lightly when he put her on the bar. Smiling down at him she smiled brighter. ”I missed you too. I’m great. A director came in today looking for a couple dancers for a movie he’s doing. They’re going to have an audition for us to see who should get the parts. They want me to audition but I don’t think I’m going to.”[/color]she said putting her sucker back in her mouth then looked at him pulling it out. ”How are you?”[/color]she asked softly looking at him smiling softly.

Lucien smiled hearing her. When she got up and hugged him he smiled. ”I’m sorry I scared you. I didn’t mean to. Oh is it good? I guess I did good by giving Brayden some blood.”[/color]he said then smiled and kissed her sweetly and smiled. He couldn’t help but smile when he heard her. ”I’m glad I came too. I can’t wait to see you up there.”[/color]he said softly holding her close to him.

Benny laughed lightly and picked up Madee and placed her on his lap before saying, "well Madee... i don't know if we still will have the band when you are grown, but... you could be part of it tonight. I have a special job for you tonight" He tapped her nose. He glanced up at Jamie who nodded and tossed something over to Benny. Benny caught it and gave it to Madee. "you think you can play this tonight? for the last song of the night? it is a big group number with both bands playing... with Benji over there singing it. "

Jerad laughed and said, "yeah it is sort of a big night. so it makes me even more happier that you are here. " then he kissed her back and said, "i am sure. but when it is time for me to go, you have to let me... ok? but i can guarantee that you will like these songs that are being preformed tonight. They are... danceable in my opinion"

Brayden grinned and said, "you're welcome. and oh? that sounds pretty awesome. why aren't you going to audition? You are better than them all. you would blow them right out of the water"He winked. Then he added, "Oh i am great... Krispin had left me in charge tonight because he had to go somewhere. and obviously Me and Jay are doing surprisingly well... no major fights yet since finding about us being brothers..." He waved a hello to Lucien.

Madee pouted hearing him and sat on his lap. ”That’s not fair.”she said then heard the rest and nodded and wiggled her nose when he tapped it. She giggled lightly at the gesture. She looked over to Jamie and wave then at Benny again and bit her lip. She took the object and looked at it then at him. Her face grew bright hearing him and smiled. ”Yeah. Yeah. But Benny. What is this called and how do I play it?”[/color]she asked cutely. Looking toward Benji she smiled then back at Benny. She would get to play with them. She was so excited.

Aurora nodded and smiled at him. ”I’m glad.”[/color]she said then smiled when he kissed her back. Looking at him she sighed. ”I will but I can’t guarantee that I will hang out with them.”[/color]she said and nodded smiling. ”I like to dance.”[/color]she said softly to him happily.

Paix looked at Brayden and smiled. She shrugged. ”I don’t know. I guess I should. I mean it’ll pay well. I just don’t know if I’ll be able to be away from you that long.”[/color]she said pouting then looked at him and nodded listening. She laughed lightly hearing the part about him and Jay. ”Well that’s good. I mean you guys are like great friends. It’d be a shame for you to fight. I always knew you guys were brothers. You’re too much alike.”[/color]she said laughing then rolled her eyes to his hair. ”You and your hair. Priceless. Your letting me cut that ponytail off before we get married. Or atleast let me fix it so it’s not puffy.”[/color]she said touching his ponytail smiling. She loved it because she could run her finger through it and mess it up all the time.

Benny laughed and said, "well Madee, it's a tambourine." He stood up and placed her on his seat. Then he went and dragged Jay away from Selena so both of them could show Madee how to play it. He only did that to show the different styles of playing it. Jay gave Benny a tambourine and himself one. Jay did a shaking motion with his and Benny tapped his against his pant leg. "and that is how you play it." he said. then Jamie asked, "want to see if you can do it better than us Miss Madee?"

Jerad sighed lightly and said, "you won't have to hang with the guys for too long. for soon we will be busy ushering people to their spots and tuning the instruments..." then he laughed. "well at least i know you will like the songs that Jay is doing. Benny is doing some slow songs... and Benji... oh he is doing a new one."

Brayden laughed and said, "you should follow your dream or whatever. I can always come and find you when we both have off... " He rolled his eyes and muttered,"not as alike as people think and yet not as different either i suppose." Bray was in no means a musician like Jay was. "hey now.. what's wrong with the hair? and besides it was Jay's idea..."

Madee looked at him and sat it his seat. She looked at the tambourine. ”Tamborume…tambomine…tamobrin….”[/color]she said then grumbled. She sighed and thought for a moment. ”TAMBO!”[/color]she said giggling. She looked up and watched Benny and Jamie and clapped and smiled. ”Cool.”she said giggling at them then heard Jamie and nodded. ”I’m gonna be the best tambo player EVER!she said giggling. Madee hoped of the seat and stood there the twirled around shaking the instrument laughing lightly as she did a little dance. She couldn’t help it. She was just so darn cute.

Aurora looked and him then glanced at his friends and felt bad. He was so close to his friends and she pretty much didn’t want to be with them. ”I’m sorry.”[/color]she said softly then looked at him and nodded. Aurora smiled lightly. ”I’m sure I will. You don’t sing. Why?”[/color]she asked looking at him curiously.

Paix shook her head looking at him. ”You know I can’t do that. It’ll hurt too much.”she said softly touching his cheek then smiled. ”Well I think me and Selena would know.”[/color]she said laughing lightly at Brayden. Looking at him she laughed. ”I didn’t say anything was wrong with your hair. You’re just going to let a professional fix it. You can go with the girls and get it all pretty like the wedding like I am going to.”[/color]she said laughing lightly and smiled at him then winked.

Benny and Jay were having too much fun playing with the tambourines but eventually Jay joked with Madee, "why don't you show your mommy your awesome Tambo playing, while Benny and I go and open the doors so the audience can come in." Jay then nudged Benny and they went over to the door to open it. They propped it open and decorated the outside to make it look inviting for people who want to hear a great show.

"why are you sorry?" Jerad asked quietly. Then he heard her question. He laughed and sighed lightly before giving her a straight answer. "i do sing... but i rather stick to back up. I like to focus on the instruments themselves." He sighed and muttered, "eventually i will have a lead song, but not any time soon, because i don't want it."

Bray laughed and rolled his eyes. "yeah it seems like you two know more than we do. i mean since you both knew that me and Jay were related before we did." He looked at her suspiciously and said, "and how would i know that isn't a code for you gonna chop it all off?" he was obviously joking with her.

[KARA ANITA JOHNSON]

It was truly unfortunate that Kara couldn't actually attend the big Battle of the bands, so she had done the next best thing that she could think of and that was pay one of the local wizarding and muggle studio's to run this band concert live through her TV, because she wouldn't have missed it for the world. The stations had arrived in the back and were given strict orders to stay out of sight, she just wanted it all to be a surprise, to them all, all that is except Jamie and he was sworn to secrecy. Someone had to give them authorization to set up and record the show, so that would be her almost brother in-law Jamie.

She had been on her house phone with Jamie earlier, "just remember, you have to let them in, so i can watch the whole thing.... i really wish i could be there, but i'm being forced to stay home..... as always... and they are strictly to stay out of sight, got it?"

[/i] she had told him, Kara wasn't in such a good mood at the time, so she may have been slightly pushy, and of course she played a mean boss to the people she hired.

Alex had managed to make it, yea he was doing this for his twin sister and his little one, he had his video camera as a distraction, to hide from the live feed as they shot the whole scene, Kara had to make sure that her plan went smoothly, otherwise the bands could get jittery. Ah it was nice to see everyone, although he was sure most of them were still pissed at him for hurting his twin almost a month ago.[/size][/blockquote]

Madee giggled as the played with her. She looked at then then grabbed their arms. ”But where are your monkey tails? You told me you’d wear them remember? I dared you to wear them. Please!she said looking up at them pouting cutely hoping they’d wear the tails she had helped her mummy make for them.

Aurora shrugged hearing him then looked at him. ”Well you sing for me. You should concentrate on a song. I know I love to hear you sing even if no one else does.”[/color]she said softly then nodded and kissed his cheek. ”I’m proud of you.”[/color]

Laughing lightly she kissed him smiling. ”The code is that I’m going to have them put flowers in your hair and pretty pink ribbons. They can curl it. Oh it’ll look so cute.”[/color]she said laughing lightly at the thought as she touched his cheek happily.

Izabella sat there looking at the table. If Emi had started talking then she hadn’t noticed. Taking in a deep breath she glanced around then turned and smiled softly seeing Alex. She had missed him and was glad he had made it. Izzy looked back at Emi and smiled softly.

Fauve walked inside the club silently after seeing Izzy with Madee walked in. She almost missed them again, and it's been too long since she saw Madee last. She stopped at seeing not all the Lost boys, but a girl band setting up. She frowned in curiosity and walked over to the nearest person to tapped the person's shoulder. "Excusez-moi, monsieur. Mais que se produit ici?" She asked and the person frowned and pardoned himself by saying he didn't understand her. She cursed inwardly in her head and sighed.

She looked around to spot where Izabelle and Madee went off to. She couldn't see neither of them which was very creepy seeing as it should be easy to spot them. She used her scent of smell and something burnt in her nostrils. She growled in vexation and looked to see where the vampire was. She sniffed the female vampire out and noticed the girl looked familiar. It hit her. It was Veronica, a friend of Izzy, she believed. Last time, Vero wasn't a vamp, and she wondered how this happen.

She finally made it to Izzy's side. "Merci, Dieu! Que continue, Izzy? Bon de vous voir. Madee, vous grandissez!" She smiled at the girl. It's been to long and she looked at the others around them. "Benny, Jamie, Benji, Jerad. Bonjour tout le monde! She greeted the Lost Boys.

She glanced at the other band with Veronica and frowned at her. "Who iz ze band wiz Veronica?" She asked with a thick accent as she looked upon the vampire girl. She noticed Jamie's girlfriend amongst them too. "Oh! Jamie's Selena iz zere too." Fauve commented and waved to her.

After awhile, she noticed everybody doing their own little things and she sat beside Izzy. "J'ai manqué Madee autant de. Je suis désolé que je n'étais pas là pour elle. Pour vous, Izzy, ou." She said in an apologize to her friend. She looked up to see Cass. Something seem off as a scent came from her, it made her tilt her head curiously before looking at Benji then to Madee as she played. Fauve watched the girl as she talked to her mother. "Désolé pour manquer autant de. Je vous baisse. Je ne promets pas l'arrivera encore."

Lorcan entered the building where the Battle of Bands were going on. He heard a whisper about it earlier and thought why not go on and see it happening. Ella would be proud of him for going and be, at least, acting social. Ella saved him from himself and he promised he'll wouldn't try to kill himself again. She was his sunshine now and he was at ease (at least for now). Lorcan doesn't know it, but his world would be compromised and destroyed soon enough. After all Ella had made him whole and they had a secret relationship together, but soon the center of his rebuilt life was going to be gone and hell would pay for its lethal decision of taking the only light left in him.

Lorcan nodded his heads to several people, and he wondered if anybody was surprise by seeing him there. He was very anti-social for a while after that time in the Room of Requirement with Ella, and yet he was different than before with his attitude with the world. He was now quiet and less popular, but it was more peaceful. He walked until he found a seat and took it as he waited for the game to begin.

Nikolae Stoeckli walked inside and saw the place being set up for the event of the season. He smiled and walked over to see the bands setting up. It was very excellent to be there and it had been a while since his last Battle of the Bands event. He wouldn't miss it for anything in the world as he sat down. It was a very busy area as everything goes together and he was early too.

He climbed up his chair until he was sitting on the edge of it as he took in everything. Well, not everything, but good enough for a mortal wizard seventeen year old like himself to see everything. He lean back on his chair and waited for the event to begin. Right now all's very noise with conversation and very nice to hear that the bands are having fun.

Dante came in, walking with his hands in his pockets as he goes on, and noticed a friend from his school years. He smiled and walked over to him. "What's up, Bray?" He held out his hand for a guy handshake with his friend. He looked around and saw a lot of students around. "Since when you hang out with this crowd?" he teased Brayden. He patted his back and slid a chair underneath him and straddled it.

"Hello Mr. Maddox," he greeted and noticed how Jamie and Bray seem to have a connection. "Where do you know my man Bray here?" He asked him like he was negotiated him, but his smile belied that notion. "Is Maddox bothering you, Dray?" He asked, looking to him.

"Yo guys!" Yvonne made a grant entrance. Well, not really, but you know she likes showing up all of a sudden and stuff like that. She slid her way through the crowd and, as she passed each of the guys, she embraced them before halting at a chair. "Can't wait for the Thunderdome to begin!" she declared before inclining her head and greeted to Selena, Izzy, Aurora, Veronica, Fauve, Emi, and everybody else.

Vivi settled down on her chair and looked at Benny and Emi, noticing their closer and smirked. Something was going on with them and she heard as she walked in them talking German, which she nicknamed "Benny and Emi's secret love language" she chuckled lightly. She looked at the couples around and felt a bit awkward for some reason, but maybe because she was probably going to go into a relationship officially. She hoped she was right by dating Xander, and wondered if he would be here. She wanted him to meet her friends. Which was why she was more nervous, and she was lucky only Benji would know she was worried about something.

Frank walked inside with a lot on his mind. Lucy was a vampire, but he loved her. He didn't know if he even could let go of her. It was for the best, but he didn't want to lost her. Even if she was a vampire, she'll need him the most. Not minding the whole bloodlust she had on him, but he, himself, had a different lust all together where she is concern. He didn't want her to be all alone in the world. Even if they couldn't be in a more personal relationship, he was still her friend and he'll be damned if he wasn't with her.

"Hello folks," he greeted and went to sat down at a table.

Jamie laughed and said, "don't worry your pretty little head Madee... we will wear them. but for me... would you want me to have my 'real' monkey tail or the other one?" He thought back to an earlier phone conversation that he and Kara had. Only he knew that there were to be cameras there... none of the other guys or the girls for that matter knew anything about the video cameras. He nodded a quick greeting to Alex. Then he turned his attention back to what he was doing.

Benny laughed and said "i have mine right here. shall i put it on now so you will be happy? or do you want to stick it on?" He held his clip on monkey tail in his hand. He thought it was funny that only he and Jay wer crazy enough to wear them.

Jerad sighed and muttered, "listen for my singing.... I am singing back up still... but more than normal with some of the songs." He was glad that she loved his singing. "What are you proud of me for?"

Brayden laughed and said, "if they come close to me with ribbons and flowers, i will not let anyone touch my hair but me." he knew she was joking... or at least he hoped she was.

Madee giggled hearing him and nodded. ”Mine. I worked so hard on it. Next time you can use your real one but I made this one. It would mean a lot to me.”[/color]she said pouting cutely at Jamie. She looked up at Benny and took the tail from him then ran behind him and clipped it onto his pants. She giggled and ran back infront of him. ”Should I wear my little one?”[/color]she asked looking up at them pointing to her self and twisting her waist.

Aurora smiled and nodded. ”Ok. I will listen. Promise.”[/color]she said softly looking at him and laughed lightly. ”You are all doing so well. How can I not be proud of you.”[/color]she told him kissing his cheek then glanced around smiling.

Paix put her finger to her lips and thought for a moment then laughed. ”Oh come on. Atleast let me do something to it on our honeymoon. Like…dye it hot pink or something.”[/color]she said then cracked up laughing. She couldn’t help it. It was pretty funny.

Izabella looked up and smiled hearing Fauve. ”It’s a battle of the bands. The boy’s band against the girls. Winner gets a contract.”[/color]she told her friend in french. Smiling at her she laughed lightly. ”Madee has missed you too. She asks about you all the time. And it’s okay. I’ve been doing my best.”[/color]she said smiling up at her friend still speaking in french. Shaking her head she rested her hand on Fauve’s hand and smiled. ”It’s fine hon. Just don’t disappear on me again.”[/color]she said joking and laughed lightly at it. She took in a deep breath and rested her head on Fauve’s shoulder sighing softly.
