Beyond Thunderdome {Battle of Bands Part One

Jay smiled and said, "a home cooked meal does sound great after all those crazy nights and afternoons and mornings of practice... But i want to help" He thought it would be quite fun to cook dinner together. He also was tapped on the shoulder by Fauve. Jay told Selena that he would be back. He smiled and said, "Oh hello Fauve... where do you want to talk?"

Benny grinned at Emi and said, "sounds like a perfect time. What would you like to eat on our little picnic?" He hugged her back and held her close. It was obvious that he loved her, and it was also obvious that he was growing soft because of her.

[YVONNE GWENDOLEN SHACKLEBOLT]

Fauve sighed a bit and smiled at Jamie at his acceptance of talking with her. She was nervous so she spoke French without noticing. "Là-bas, s'il vous plaît, par l'abandon du corridor." She inclined to the hallway that was empty and nudged him that way. "I mean zere, please, Jamie." She waited until they were at said corridor before she talked again. "I zink you know why we are 'ere." She said softly and nibbled on her lower lip. "Please don't tell, please." She begged him.

She was nervous as hell and couldn't do anything else as she plead with him. She was too anxious and couldn't exactly make out anything else. She knew Jamie heard her howl and had realized what she was.

Translations:
Over there, please, by the abandon corridor.

"Good work, guys!" Yvonne came over to her friends and smiled. "Okay, Benny is going soft, people." She teased her friend. She looked to see Jamie and Fauve going somewhere and walked over to Selena. "What's up with them? You were great, Selena. The Hey Monday were excellent!"

Dante went over to his friend and gave him a manly back slap. "Never knew how musical talented you are, Bray. Where did you hide it?" He was kidding with him, of course, what were friends for. He smiled at Bray and patted his shoulder. He looked over to Bray's girl. "Seems like I wasn't the only one impress." He inclined to Paix.

Lucy looked up at him and swallowed hard. Sighing falsely she looked up at him and hugged him gently. Pulling away she smiled as he took her hand. Taking a deep breath she smiled softly. Nodding she walked with him. ”Frankie…”she said and didn’t continued til she got him outside. She looked up at him and bit her lip gently. Her eyes fell as she didn’t know how to tell him.

Izzy smiled up at Fauve and took a deep breath. Madee was going home in a few days. Izzy didn’t want her to be at the tournament.

Paix stood behind the bar cleaning a glass since everyone was talking or voting. She looked around for Brayden and just stood there smiling. She was proud of them all. Taking a deep breath she just stood there and cleaned a few more glasses before giving two more patrons drinks smiling brightly.

Lucien wrinkled his nose to her and smiled wrapping his arms around her waist. Hearing her he chuckled lightly. He shrugged and kissed her back. ”I don’t mind. Just don’t take a bath in the stench and I wont hold it against my girl.” Laughing lightly he kissed her again and smiled. Lucien was happy to have her. ”I still love you.”

[SELENA.ISABELLA.JOHNSON]

Smiling, Selena nodded her head in agreement that he could help. It would be nice to be able to spend some time with him. Cooking was the perfect time to do that. It was always fun for Selena to cook with Jamie. Especially since they could come up with something delicious. "That sounds awesome. I would love for you to help me." She said then letting him go with Fauve. Selena walked out from behind stage and went to chat with some people around the place. Thanking them for coming and what not.

Emi loved being held like this by Benny. It made her feel protected, loved, and appreciated. All that really mattered to her at the moment was Benny, no one else. It was a little world of just them even if there were people out there in front of the stage waiting for them to come out. It didn't matter to Emi what so ever. "Well. How about you surprise me." She said thinking of all the delicious food that they could have at their picnic. She didn't want it to be something like heavy or a real "meal" per-say, she just wanted something simple and to be able to spend all night with him. But, that probably wouldn't happen. Not tonight anyways. "Do we have to go back out there?" She asked letting herself come as close to him as possible, keeping her arms wrapped around him as well. "I don't want to go." She said smiling though she knew that they would have to sooner or later.

Vero smiled as Lucien wrapped his arms around her. His lips against hers was like heaven, if there ever was one. "Well I promise I won't take a bath in it. I wouldn't want to scare you away." She said laughing and kissing him back as he kissed her. When he said he still loved her, a smile went across her face, one that showed she was truely happy with him. "I love you too Lucien." She said looking around to see if anyone was watching. Nope, oh well. If they did, who cared?

Frankie smiled and hugged her back before they were outside. He was happy to see Lucy wasn't so uneasy like before when he found out about her being a vampire. It was nice to see her better, but why does it feel like something was up with her. He didn't know. He was happy to be outside with her and looked her in the eye as he felt a compulsion to ask, "What's wrong?" to her. He waited patiently for her to reply.

***Before going to Jamie***
Fauve smiled at Izzy and said in French quickly. "I'll be right back. I need to talk to somebody." She inclined her head to the boys. She looked at Madee before going over to Jamie.
***Present***

Yvonne watched Fauve and Jamie from where she stood with Selena. "Shall I get us some drinks while we wait for your man to come back?" She asked Jay's fiance, smiling politely as she offered without delay. She looked at the others around her. "Anybody else want something?" She offered the group: from the boys to the girls and to Dante and Bray.

[JAMIE MADDOX]

Jay smiled at Selena before he went into the corridor with Fauve. He sighed deeply and said, "first of all, i understood you in french... Me and the guys learned it few years ago because of Izzy. But Benny is the best at it." He talked too much at times. "calm down... i nor the others won't tell what you are. It really doesn't matter to us that you are one... because you seem to be a great person to talk to."

Benny rolled his eyes at Vivi and said, "is that bad? that i may have gone soft. " to her before smiling at Emi with a loving look."Sadly we have to soon. But thankfully it is the group song then the encores... then we are done."

Bray smirked and said, "i only know the parts that i played... i was just filling in for their fifth member who happened to be out of town. Jay taught me them." Then looking over towards Paix he blew a kiss towards her.

[FAUVE CHIMERE ROUSSEAU]

Fauve felt stupid at that comment that Jamie know French because of Izzy, after all she should of realize that. "Je suis un idiot. Si connue." She murmured to herself with a bit of fury. She looked at him as he continued to talk. "Really?" She looked relief yet unsure at what he was saying. She didn't know what to believe at the moment. It was hard not to hide the truth about her and not having people freak out; it felt nice to not worry over these things yet she wasn't sure to trust it entirely.

Translations:
I'm such an idiot. Should of known.

Dante pondered thoroughly before going ahead with the conversation. He smirked slightly with a tilt to his head. "Well, for the parts you know you're great." He stated with honesty. "What fifth member? Who is he? He looked around at the band wondering where the fifth member of the Lost Boys were. Of course, one of the present member had gone elsewhere since Jamie had walk over to the side to talk with Fauve. "I didn't even know there were five in their band. He added obviously confused over the situation.

Lucy looked up at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. Holding him there in a hug she made sure to be very careful with him. Swallowing hard she looked up at him. Biting her lip gently she let her lips lay next to his ear. ”I…I love you.”she told him softly being soft and gentle with him. She hoped he didn’t think that she was too young or anything. Lucy would be upset if he did. She was only fourteen and he was seventeen. Frankie meant so much to her. Knowing that he was older and most likely just thought she was a child hurt her but she had to atleast try.

*before Fauve left*
Looking up at her she nodded. ”Okay.”she said softly then watched Madee and laughed lightly at her little one.

[JAMIE MADDOX]

Jay laughed gently and said, "you are not an idiot and it is understandable that most people don't realize it, since me and the guys usually just talk in english. " He shrugged lightly. "yeah really. i mean, if i had any reason to be against werewolves... do you think i would have Benji as one of my best friends? I have no problems with it. and neither do Jerad and Benny. It is completely a non-issue with us. so your secret is safe." He patted her on her shoulder in a friendly manner.

Brayden laughed and said, "thanks... i think." then he looked like he was trying to remember something. "they have a fifth member by the name of Aaron Reynolds... he was the oldest of the group, having graduated the year before. He was supposed to have been here tonight but got held up on his trip. His family went on a half a year mission trip sort a thing. So i was asked by Jay to help out tonight."

[ROWE CONNER HENNIGG]

Frank waited nervously on the inside for her answer. He prayed it wasn't something terrible or worse. He never said to her how he felt about her, afraid of thinking he was too old for her or something like that. He did love her a lot, but he didn't know if he should. He was older by three years, and seventeen year old don't normally date or love fourteen year old, right? He waited until he thought he might die from waiting. Of course, when her answer came, he couldn't be happier. Then he thought he heard wrong. "What did you say?" He blurted out without thinking and it sounded very harsh even though he was very confuse. He was too worried that he didn't hear her right.

Dante nodded in reply and chuckled at Bray's vocal reaction. "Aaron Reynolds? Wait, he was in Hufflepuff, a year above Benny. I remember him." Seeing since he was twenty-five and after Hogwarts he went on to Auror training which was three years, so he was twenty or twenty-one when he was fully an Auror then he had a very bad accident a year after and went to becoming Professor of DADA at twenty-four, so he definitely had Aaron Reynolds as a student. His birthday was in June, the sixteenth to be exact, so he did have him for one year. Of course, at that time Dante was sure Mr. Reynolds was solo in his music career. "He was solo though. So, either he joined earlier and decided to go his own way or he joined the Lost Boys after the fact. He was friends with Mr. Gallagher. Benny." He laughed. "Sorry, hard to step out of being their professor."

Vivi stuck out her tongue at Benny. "Nope. But it's too wrong not to tease you, Benny boy." She teased him with the name he hated her to call him. She chuckled. Of course, she overheard what Bray and Professor Hennigg were talking about. She abruptly stopped laughing and looked at them. "Excuse me." She said to her friends before going over to them, Bray and Dante. She placed her hands on her hips. "You're not talking about AJ, are you?" So, she was still a bit sensitive on the topic of Aaron Jake Reynolds. After all, she dated him. She crossed her arms angrily.

Fauve laughed a bit nervous and nodded. "Oui. Guess not since you are." She looked like to be crying as she felt relief by his words. At his pat, she broke down the tears and hugged him tightly. "Merci. Ne pas savoir vous rembourser. Merci, Jamie. Vous êtes un tel gentil. Benny et Jerad aussi. Vous remercier tous pour votre bienveillance. Benji est si heureux pour vous avoir tous. Vous remercier autant de. Vraiment. Beaucoup redevable à vous." She laughed happily and kept crying. Maybe not all men think about getting laid, after all. Maybe they weren't all ungrateful beasts either.

Translations:
Thank you. Don't know how to repay you. Thank you, Jamie. You're such a good guy. Benny and Jerad too. Thank you all for your kindness. Benji is so lucky to have you all. Thank you so much. Really. Very much indebted to you.

Lucy clung to him and closed her eyes then heard him and looked down biting her lips. He seemed to not like it. ”Umm….I said…I…I…I said I love you….”she said looking down swallowing lightly. She was worried. Maybe she shouldn’t have said that…maybe he thought she was just a child. That she was too young for him.

Paix looked up when Bray had blown her a kiss and then grabbed a bottle of water and walked over to Bray and gave him the bottle and smiled up at him. ”Here babe. Thought you could use some water.”she said softly as she kissed his cheek. Nodding she smiled then walked back to the bar and continued her volunteer work.

Lucien smiled down at Vero and laughed lightly. ”Good. I’d hope not. But I’d endure it for you.”he said softly holding her there kissing her lightly. Kissing her forehead lightly and breathed in deeply. Brushing hair behind her ear and he hearing her. ”I’m very happy about that my beauty. You mean so much to me. I’d really be upset if you didn’t love me.”he told her holding her close with a soft smile.

[BRAYDEN ANTHONY CARTER]

Bray laughed and said, "yeah he was a year above the others..." He smiled and said"Thanks hun" and kissed Paix back on her cheek before taking a sip of the water. after drinking some, he continued talking. "both actually. He was with the guys when they first started out... but sometime during his seventh year, he had decided to go solo. Quite the scandal amongst the guys. And few weeks ago... he calls Jay up asking if he could come back to the band. And Jay being the nice guy that he is... let him back. but he ends up not coming back yet because his flight is stuck. So apparently he will try to come back next week or so. few days before the Yule Ball. Not that he would go anyways." He rolled his eyes. then he heard Vivi. "yeah we are talking about him. and he sent a letter for you. If i can remember where i put it i can give it to you."

Jamie laughed and hugged her back. "no need to cry and no need to thank us. and if you need anyone to talk to, don't hesitate to talk to us. especially since you are a friend of Izzy's. " then he asked just randomly, "want to join us up on stage with the next song? i mean we can always use some more people on stage jamming to the song that Benji wrote. "

[FAUVE CHIMERE ROUSSEAU]

Frank calmed himself and looked at Lucy with such surprise and awe, he was starstruck at her admission to loving him. He was slow at having a reply or reaction yet deep within his heart grew and started beating fast. It wasn't a good thing to do with a vampire around, but he felt safe and sound with Lucy and he took her hand in both of his and kissed it like a caress. He breathed slowly to calm his heart and his heart slow back to normal before smiling at her. "I'm sorry if I seem harsh. I was just surprise and shock. Please forgive me, Lucy," he replied at last. "I can't believe you love me." He grinned wide and chuckled happily. "I love you too. Always. Since last year..." he admitted and trailed off, looking at her as he waited for her response to his declaration.

Fauve nodded, but couldn't stop the tears from falling. She was very happy now though it was very scary to have three people knowing her secret. It was nerve-racking yet pleasingly good to acknowledge them as allies and protectors to the case which in this case was her secret of being a werewolf. "I 'ave to. I can't believe my luck. Zank you, Jamie." She hugged him back and cried happily.

[LUCY MCKENNA WEASLEY]

Standing there she looked up at him. He was quiet….too quiet. She looked down and blinked. She knew it. Frankie thought she was just a immature child. That’s why he wasn’t talking to her. That’s why he didn’t answer her. With her eyes closed she heard something. Opening her eyes quickly she knew it was his heart. Vampire senses were trying to claw their way to the surface. Her eyes grew blood lust fieeled but the felt him grab her hand. She felt him kiss it as if he was caressing it. Hearing him breath slow she swallowed the lust that was trying to come out she heard his heart beat calm.

Calming herself as fast as she could she stood there hearing him. Lucy could never hate Frankie. Hearing that he couldn’t believe her she closed her eyes once more. Blinking she gasped hearing him tell her he loved her too. Her head snapped up with that when he trailed off. A small smile appeared on her lips. ”Frankie….you don’t think I’m too young? I mean…you are 17 and I am just 14.”she said softly but she could tell he was true. Why would he lie to her? Smiling she got on her toes and wrapped her arms around his neck. She kissed his cheek as she stood there.

As she took a deep breath Lucy remembered. She was forever fourteen. Something he could never be. Blinking so looked at him. Lucy couldn’t give him this life. Atleast not for another 5 years. He’d be in his early 20’s by then. Lucy felt horrible. They could never be. It was impossible. Sighing she looked up at him with her arms still around his neck she licked her lips and rested her head against his chest. They couldn’t be anything more.

Jay laughed and said "oh alright but calm down. but i have to get back soon... because the break is almost up" He was happy that he gained another friend. Friends could be quite useful in keeping him grounded. He seriously didn't want to end up like some of the famous people out there. acting like total douches and such. He rather have people like him instead of hating him. He hugged her back kindly. "you're welcome. and thanks for being a friend as well. one an never have too many friends." Jay flashed a grin and asked her if they could go back now.
