Lucy walked through the halls of Hogwarts and took in a deep false breath. Ever since she had been turned into a vampire she had wandered at night. Tonight was no different. Looking out one of the windows she took in a long deep false breath. There were two thoughts that were constantly running through her mind. Frankie and his life and then who had turned her. Lucy to this day didn't know and desperately wanted to know. She wasn't sure why she wanted to know but she did and thats all. Luc wanted to know why he had picked her to turn.

What was his reason for turning a poor 14 year old little hufflepuff girl into a creature of the night? Leaning on the sill of a window she looked up at the moon and took in a deep breath. "Why me? I can't be with him because of you. I can't be happy because of you. I'll have to live forever in a depressed mood. I hate you."she said softly as she looked at the ground wishing she could cry. But she knew she couldn't any more. Biting her lip lightly she placed her face in her hands wanting so badly to cry.

As a vampire, Sebastian’s stamina meant that he rarely had to sleep; and when he did, it was usually restless. It wasn’t a wonder how he exactly got ‘O’s in all his classes if he had double the time available than normal students. Nonetheless, tonight was one of restless sleep, so he too wondered the halls. Of course, this was not usually allowed by students, but vampires were excluded... not that there were many of them. So naturally, the halls were empty and it was quite noticeable when someone occupied them. In fact, Sebastian could feel the pain from quite far away and he was getting annoyed by it. The curiosity was really killing him. He just needed to know where, or who, it was coming from.

Then, as he turned the corner, he heard the second half of the sentence, coming from the female near the window – her back facing him, with shiny ginger hair and pale green clothing accentuating her pale skin in the moonlight. He cocked an eyebrow as he now came closer to her, almost breathing down her neck, and whispered, “That’s not how you felt beforehand.”

Lucy just stood there quietly before raising her foot into the air behind her. She hated this and just wanted to be alive again. Glancing out toward the grounds she tilted her head seeing a couple students running around together. To be alive, in love, and happy....that's all I want. She thought to herself then her head went up sensing someone near her. She didn't dare move. She stood still as a statue. She didn't want to be found out walking among the corridors this late at night because her secret would be found out.

Staring blankly at the grounds she listened as the person approached and stood there waiting. Some reason...this being seemed familiar. Where had she sensed this feeling before? That night...in the alley....the night she had been turned. Was this the person that had turned her. Standing still she felt his breath on her neck and stood quietly. "As I recall you grabbed me and forced me. I had no choice in the matter."she said not moving. It's all that she could think of to say. She was honestly scared right now because this guy scared her.

Sebastian smiled at her. It seemed she had a very different memory of what had happened between them in one of the dungeon corridors/alleys – where it was dark, dank and secluded – when he had turned her into a vampire. For him, it was slightly violent, but mainly passionate and lustful. He had had a good time, snacking on this little redhead. He winced a little as it seemed from her tone that she was angry at him, like she hadn’t asked for it... making him out to be some sort of monster, like a vampyric rapist; which offended him. “Well, you were grabbing back,” he said sternly. “Besides, you asked me,” he now said casually as he took a few steps from her and half turned. “I was only trying to... be nice.” Although those weren’t the words he was thinking, but rather ‘satisfy you’, which he knew Lucy would be able to pick up with her telepathy.

Lucy stood there quietly as she waited for a response. She didn’t want to look upon the face of the person that had turned her into a monster. She closed her eyes and quickly the memory of that night in the alley flooded back to her. She wanted to cry because she could remember the pain. Shaking her head at the thought she stood waiting. Hearing him finally speak she stood wanting to hurt him. ”I did no such thing. I was trying to escape you. And I would never want to be a monster. I want to be alive again. I want to love! But Because you turned me into this damn creature I can’t be with the man I love.”she said and stood there a moment and heard him move away from her and turn.

Gasping at his response and his thoughts finally she turned around and drew back to slap him across the face but stopped seeing who it was. ”Sebastian…”she said standing there looking at him. Shaking her head she refused to believe it. ”No. No. You would never. You wouldn’t hurt me. Never. No.”she said shaking her head wanting to wake from a dream she knew she could never wake from because it was no dream. How could this be? Would Sebastian really hurt her? Lucy refused and would never believe it.

Bastian tilted his head to the side while his brow furrowed in confusion. She had so much anger towards him and yet, he didn’t know why. Until he realised that she had no idea it was him! Which meant that she may not have actually wanted to... But it was too late.

An upraised arm stopped moments before it hit his face and eventually dropped and most of his questions had been answered. He was the monster she was speaking of, at least in her eyes. Lucy hadn’t remembered anything of their agreement; that he could feed off of her every now and then, and the last time, he had gone to far. Thinking he was turning her at her request, it was now clear to him that she hadn’t intended it at all. And while he was an asshole, this wasn’t a moment to abandon poor confused Lucy. “I...” he started to say, taking a step toward her. “Lucy... I didn’t know. I... You asked me, so, I...” he stumbled with. Turning his back to her in rage, his crystal blue eyes now turned a vibrant red. He couldn’t believe it himself, that his blood lust allowed him to turn a close friend.

Lucy stood there shocked. How could this be? Sebastian was one of her friends. Would he really harm her? Looking at the ground she balled her hands into a first. This couldn’t be true. Sebastian would never hurt her. Glancing at him she took in a false breath. She wanted to hurt him. She wanted to destroy him but she couldn’t now that she knew it was Sebastian that had turned her. Hearing him she looked up as he spoke. Gasp. She asked him? No. Standing there, a few faded memories came to her. Times when he had requested to drink from her and she willingly gave. She took in a false breath. She remembered now. She had requested it.

Lucy saw he had his back turned to her. Standing there a moment she built up her courage and touched his back then moved in front of him. ”Sebastian…I’m sorry. I didn’t remember everything. Now I do. I did want this. But the reason why has escaped me for now. Forgive me. I didn’t know. This is my fault. Please…don’t beat yourself up over my horrible memory. Please.”she said resting her hands on the side of his face. She smiled up at him and got on her tippy toes and kissed his cheek. ”I still care about you.”

Sebastian controlled himself. He rarely ever got so worked up emotionally that his urges started to show. So, he calmed himself and his eyes changed back to their normal beautiful blue. Then, as Lucy touched him, he shivered slightly. It wasn’t something he was expecting from her. In fact, a moment before, he was going to leave. However, this changed things.

As he listened, he sympathised, but was in fact angry at himself, that he couldn’t realise that he should not have taken vampiric advantage of her, which led to her being turned. “No... It was my fault. I made you into something you have no idea about and I can’t take it back,” he lamented, as he leaned his head into her palm, shutting his eyes at the stupidity and embarrassment he felt. Right now, he couldn’t handle looking into her sweet face. Then, his eyes snapped open and he suddenly grabbed her hand, taking it away from his face, “Maybe you shouldn’t care so much,” he said sternly and let go of her. Bastian turned slightly and walked passed Lucy, trying to escape her.

Looking up at him, her soft green pools couldn't look away from him. Taking in a breath she smiled faintly at him. Laughing lightly at what he said she found this funny. They were both taking blame. ”Very well. It's both our faults.”she spoke softly knowing full well he could hear her. Holding her hand there still she smiled as he leaned into her hand. He was hurting with her and she strangely didn't like that. She knew he had his eyes closed cause he couldn't look at her.

She then was surprised when he opened them and pushed her hands away. Hearing him she was shocked. Lucy shook her head when he turned and walked passed her. Turning quickly and using her speed stood before him with her hand out toward him. ”No. Why? Why shouldn't I care so much?”she asked looking at him so confused. He couldn't just walk away after she realized he had been the one to turn her. He was one of her best friends. He had to help her through this.

A blur came around him and Lucy was suddenly in front of him again. Bastian huffed. He side stepped her and started walking again, but it seemed she was relentless and wanted her questions answered as she closely followed. However, it was only a few steps before he turned around and half yelled, “Because I’m not good for you!” Another huff, and then, “Can’t you see the problem?” he asked, strained and worried, “I was the one who turned you. I couldn’t control myself and this is what happens!” he said, as he pointed to his own drawn sharpened teeth. “I’m dangerous, Lucy,” ‘...and I don’t want to hurt you anymore’, he couldn’t bring himself to say. Now, he looked into her eyes, searching. He knew he needed to be stronger willed, just to keep her away from him. He cared, but he didn’t want to. Bastian knew he needed to precede his reputation and use his ‘blackened heart’ in order to keep her safe and away from him, “You were just a snack to me.” However, he didn’t mean it. Sebastian took two steps backwards, turning on his heel

Lucy stood there and growled when he stepped around her. She turned and followed close behind him then stopped when he turned, half yelled at her and she just looked at him. She was surprised because he had never taken this tone with her. Never. It scared her but didn’t let him see it. ” Not good for me?! I’m like you now! I’m just as dangerous as you if not more. I’m new. I’d say I’m worse then you.”she said looking at him. She looked down when she had heard his thoughts.

”You wont hurt me Sebastian…”she said looking into his blue eyes. The things that added to the reason she had liked him in the first place. Hearing him she winced and shook her head. When he stepped back and turned she caught his arm quickly. ”That’s not true and I know it.”she told him and stepped infront of his and held him gently by his arms. ”You never could lie to me.”

His eyes widened at her defiance. He couldn’t understand her reasoning now – before they met she knew that he was rude and rarely capable of caring for others – yet, she now tried to prove that she was stronger than him. “Worse than me!?” he said in mock rhetoric. “...Because you’re new, that makes you weaker, not stronger,” he said as a warning with a touch of anger, glaring at her now. “Lucy, you have no idea,” and he swung his arm, missing her face and hitting the stone wall, cracking it and leaving a dent, “of what I’m capable of.” Then, he paused a moment before pointing to the dent in the wall and saying, “And I wasn’t even trying.”

However, his heart beat quickly; aching as he looked down on her soft face. He couldn’t believe that he needed to be so nasty just to distance himself from her and to protect her. He didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but Sebastian knew it was necessary. Then, she grabbed him as he was leaving, stopping him by holding his muscular arms. This time, he just glared at her and kept silent, not verbally admitting the truth of her statement.

Looking at him she didn’t faultier. ”I’m not scared of you Sebastian and that’s not what your sister told me.”she said looking at the wall then back at him. ”You wont hurt me. You care about me too much to hurt me.”she said hearing his heart beat quicken. She was jealous that he had a heart beat and she couldn’t have one. It made her angry but she pushed it aside and looked at him.

”By leaving me…your doing more damage then good. You know because you turned me we have a new bond. One that nothing can break. You know this and I know this. You hurt me then you’ll be hurting as well. You don’t want to do this, Sebastian. So please, don’t do this.”she said looking up at him.

With one hand she moved it to his cheek and touched it lightly then without thinking got on her tip toes and kissed him then pulled away and wrapped her arms around his waist hugging him. Lucy couldn’t lose him. She cared too much about him.

Sebastian was angry at her for not listening, yet at the same time, he kept silent, as some of what Lucy was saying was true – he just couldn’t let her know. He desperately needed her to believe that what he was saying was true and that it mattered. “You should be,” he warned, that she should be scared. Although this really didn’t make sense, as she was now a vampire as well. “Gabby doesn’t like being a vampire, so I would hold things she says with a grain of salt.” And now, he huffed and turned his head to the side. He didn’t want to look at her little innocent face right now.

“Wait. What?” He was a little surprised at Lucy, that she was using such clever argument, turning to face her now. He wasn’t expecting that she would use her turning as an emotional blackmail. Now, however, he was going to pretend it wasn’t true, “You’re complicating things, Lucy. It was an accident and nothing else. Turning you didn’t do anything else between us except make you one of my kind.” His breath was heavier now. A little flustered, Bastian wanted to argue more, but it was too late, Lucy had moved in and kissed him softly, which he instinctively kissed back to. A second later, they both pulled back (but for different reasons). “Lucy... I... can’t,” he told her reluctantly, not hugging back and leaving his arms by his side, sighing.

She refused to listen to her. She was a Weasley and she was stubborn. Looking at him she shook her head. ”I will never be afraid of you. And she may not like it but I wont disregard her.”Lucy told her and took a deep breath. Swallowing she looked up at him and sighed softly. She wasn’t an idiot. Looking up at him she show her head. ”Lies. All lies.”she said softly. As she hugged him she smiled because he had kissed back. Hearing him she looked up. ”Why?” She wouldn’t let him go. She didn’t want to lose him and she knew that she could if she let go of him. Lucy was happy when she hugged him. She wouldn’t let go of him.
