Christmas Love{Vero

[LUCIEN REED TUSSIN]

Lucien looked around as he stood there looking around. He was standing in the forest in their secret spot. Smiling softly he waited for his love and took a deep breath waiting. ”Oh my Vero.”he said softly and looked around breathing deeply. Lucien was excited to see her. Holding her present in his hand he smiled softly. Being so excited about this he could hardly contain himself. It was Christmas and he just wanted to be with her. Standing there he shrugged and sighed waiting. Closing his eyes he listened waiting for her.

It was to be at their normal meeting place. The spot in the forest that no one else cared to venture to. It had been a while since Vero had got to spend any time with Lucien and she was surprised to be able to get to see him this day, even if it was the holiday time. Vero had figured he was just busy at the bar and that was totally understandable with her. Running at high speed, twisting and turning through the trees, though getting caught a couple times by unexpected limbs. It wasn't long before she stood in the shadows just before the clearing, looking at Lucien. A smile spread across her face as she stepped into the clearing with her arms crossed. "Long time no see comrade." She said with a playful tone then scurrying over to him and latching her arms around his neck. Her lips collided with his to form a passionate kiss, something that she hadn't gotten in a while. "Where have you been lately. I wait for you every night. I have missed you so much." She said inbetween short kisses. Pulling herself to him, she let her body mold into his, holding herself there never wanting to let go.

Hearing her he smiled and stood there before she got closer and turned toward her. ”I know I’m so sorry my love. I have been so busy at the bar. I have missed you so much. But we are together now.”he said and smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed him passionately. He rested his head against hers and sighed. ”I have been dying to see you. You have no idea how many times I have wanted to sneak away but every time I try more people come in and so I can’t.”he told her kissing her smiled and then kissed her deeply once more.

Holding on tightly to him, she just didn't ever want to let go. The feel of his body against hers was something that she hadn't had in a long time. "Well I guess I'm going to have to come to the bar more often. Maybe even stay nights at a time there just to see you." That thought actually sounded plausible. Just would have to make sure that there was good coverage back at Hogwarts just in case a professor or head girl came to check and make sure everyone was there and accounted for. If that were to happen, she would have to have someone cover her butt well. But, with her not having many friends, that would be a problem. Somehow she would have to figure something out. Looking up at him she felt his lips come against hers again in a loving kiss. "At least now we are together. Merry Christmas love." She said completely happy there in his arms. Ding, a lightbulb went off in Vero's head and she pulled away from him smiling. "I'm sorry, I can't wait to give you your gift." Pulling out a wrapped box, she held it out and smiled brightly excited about him opening it up. It was a bottle of blood, but not just any blood. "Okay, well. I'm going to give it away as you unwrap it so it makes sense. Before I was turned, I actually donated blood. Well, I actually got ahold of the blood bank and told them not to process my blood, and I went and got it when they all left to go home... So..." She said explaining it so he understood why she got him the bottle of blood. It was her own.

Hearing her he chuckled lightly. ”No. It’s okay. I’ll fight for you harder then anything.”he explained kissing her forehead. Nodding he agreed. ”Right and yes. Happy Christmas.”he told her softly smiling. He took her gift and smiled opening it and listened to her closely. He was shocked and looked down at it. ”Wow. Really?”he said and smiled then kissed her. ”I still remember the taste of your blood my love. I just wish you could taste mine.”he told her and kissed her cheek. ”Thank you. I will cherish it. I promise.”he told her holding it then looked down at her. ”Do you want your gift now?”he asked softly looking down at her with a bright smile. Being excited didn’t even cover how much he wanted to give her present to her.

Oh he loved his gift. This was just very exciting. Veronica had done splendid with this one. Smiling she was absolutely elated that he was happy with his gift. "I knew that you loved the taste of my blood. So I thought, why couldn't you just have it again." What else did you get a vampire as a gift? Well many different things, but this was actually thoughtful. Feeling him kiss her cheek, she couldn't help but smile. It was so sweet, so innocent. Even if the normal kisses were amazing, she still loved the sweet innocent things as well such as that. When he asked if she wanted her gift now, she put a finger on her lips and shrugged her shoulders. Leaning up, she kissed his nose and laughed. "I don't care. You didn't have to get me anything Lucien. All I want for Christmas is you." she said being completely honest. Gifts were trivial to her, but Lucien was her world and that's all she wanted for Christmas.

Nodding he smiled at her and nodded. ”Thank you. I honestly love it.”he said and then placed the bottle on the ground in the snow then looked at her and smiled. Breathing deeply he was so taken back by her. She was incredible and his world. Looking down at her he laughed when she spoke and kissed his nose. ” Well I think you’ll want this one.”he said and handed her a small box. He was excited to hear her.

Ring: Here ya go cissa. Hope you love it.

Oh she would want this one? Why would she want this one when all she wanted was standing there holding her in his arms? Taking the small box that he handed her, she smiled and unwrapped it noticing that it had to be a jewelry box. But with it being Vero, she thought it was a necklace or something. But when she opened it up, it was the most gorgeous ring that she had saw in a while and it dawned on her what was actually happening. "Lucien this is gorgeous. It's absolutely beautiful." She said looking at him and then at the ring. Was this really what she thought it was? Was he really going to propose to her? A rarity happened then for a vampire, a tear came trickling down her face and onto her cheek. "Lucien..." she said looking at him indicating that she didn't know if she was thinking the wrong thing or not.

Watching her take the box and open it made him happy. He couldn’t help but be happy about this. When she spoke he smiled. ”I’m glad you love it.”he told her then kissed her forehead and smiled seeing a tear. Taking a breath he got on one knee and looked up at her. ”Veronica Aros. Will you please do me the honor of being Mrs Lucien Tussin?”he asked looking up at his beautiful girl. It made him feel amazing at saying those words. He wanted her to officially be his forever. It made him happier and more excited then anything in the world or in his long unlife.

Oh this was really it. Her assumptions were correct and she could feel the tears wanting to come out of her eyes, but not being able to. Watching his kneel on one knee, she could feel her heart start to race and a smile shown brightly across her face. Those words that he spoke, the were just perfect and the sound of Mrs. Lucien Tussin just was too good to be true. Nodding her head, she was really speechless and just too excited to spit out the words. But finally after a few moments she was able to speak. "Of course Lucien. Of course I will be your wife." she said ecstatic. Not only were they bonded from the turning, and being in a relationship, but now they would be bonded through marriage and that was something that was different entirely.

Lucien took the ring and placed it on her finger and smiled at her. ”You have no idea how happy that makes me.”he said standing and wrapping his arms around her. He picked her up and kissed her passionately being very excited about this. Mrs Veronica Tussin. That would be her name. It had a very nice ring to it. Smirking he looked at her. ”Mrs Veronica Tussin. What a lovely ring. I love it.”he told her holding her close and kissed her head. Breathing softly he rested his head against hers and smiles then says, “Happy Christmas, my love.”
