Nikki stood at the top of the Astronomy Tower and took in a breath of the cool air. Looking out over the snow covered grounds she bit her lip. Christmas was in two days and Nikki was one of the few that were staying at the castle. Her siblings were staying also but she really didn’t talk to them much lately. Blinking she looked down. Wearing a skirt, leggings, and a sweater top with a scarf around her neck along with a little hat she stood there looking out. She knew she didn’t have to dress warm but she just felt like it tonight of all nights. It was late and she felt content and alone. As she stood she remembered the Yule Ball and the boy she had met. Jake. She wondered what he was doing because she knew he had stayed as well. Breathing falsely she stood there before shaking her head and looking out she took a deep breath and nodded.

Jake Kingston was doing his prefect duties. He was head boy so he needed to make sure everything was okay for christmas. It was two days away. He felted someone was at the astronomy tower. He wanted to go up there. He met a girl at the Yule ball. Her name is nikki. He was wearing long sleeve shirt and jeans. He headed to the tower and bite his lip. He got up to the tower. He saw her and smiled. "hey you" he was happy to see her.

Nikki looked out over the grounds and sensed someone coming and became rather worried. Gasping as they came in she ran into a pillar and looked at him. Breathing she smiled at him. ”Hey Jake. Your scared me. I was so not expecting you to be the one coming up here.”she said then smiled sweetly. Moving away from the pillar she stood there. ”How you doing?”she asked softly looking at him moving hair behind her ear.

Jake remember when he met nicholette. It was at the yule ball. She was his friend kyle's date but kyle wanted to introduce him to her since kyle was just friends with her. He remember how beautiful she looked and now she was still that beautiful girl that he met. ''Sorry for scaring you'' He said. ''I'm doing great, how are you doing'' He asked. He really liked Nikki. She made him smile like he used too with his past love. He looked at her and wonder what she was thinking.

He smiled and sat down. He remember being up here last time. Its so comfy being here. He looked at her. ''So what are you doing on christmas'' He asked. He was curious what she was doing that day. He wanted to be around her on christmas. He fell for this girl. He just didn't know how she felted back. He smiled.

Nikki smiled softly as him and nodded. ”It’s okay. I was just not expecting it to be you.”she said softly looking at him then looked down and shrugged. ”I am alright. Just thinking about winter.”she said softly to him and smiled. Smiling she sat next to him and let her feet lay behind her. She smiled at him and shrugged. ”Probably nothing like always. Me and my siblings exchange gifts but nothing else. What about you? What are you doing on Christmas?”she asked softly smiling at him.

''I'm doing nothing much since the siblings when home'' He said. I proable will be alone for christmas'' He said. ''Thats nice your siblings are still here'' He said. He kissed her head. He just wanted to sit here with her. '''I been thinking about you lately'' He said. '''Ever since the yule ball i just can't get you out of my head'' He looked at her giving his smile. He really loved his smile and hoped that this girl wouldn't reject him. He just wanted to be loved again.

He waited for her to say something. ''Sometimes it also hard being a vampire since my family doesn't know about it'' He said. He bite his lip. He didn't know if she knew if he was a vampire and he hoped she wouldn't freak out on him. The last girl he loved was so it was easy to date her. He smiled. He just waited for her reaction to what he just saided.

Nodding she sat there smiling. ”Cool. Well the three of us have always hung around the school for holidays except summer.”she said softly then smiled when he kissed the top of her head. She was surprised hearing him. He had been thinking about HER?! She felt giddy suddenly. Looking at him she smiled. ”Wow…really? You have? Umm…I’ve been thinking about you the same.”she told him softly. Shrugging she sat there then heard him and smiled. ”I knew you were a vampire the moment I met you. But you shouldn’t hide it. You should let it out. I mean if me and my siblings hide that we were vampires then we would probably have been punished by our parents. See…my whole family are vampires. The Bludd clan. Maybe you’ve heard of us.”she said softly leaning against him. Wrinkling her nose lightly she smiled softly at him.

''Yeah i have heard of you guys'' He said. ''I can't come out, my parents and siblings don't know'' He said. ''I was turned last summer when i met a vampire and she didn't tell me that she was turning me'' He said. ''I have to keep it a secret because my family would freak, even though my parents are both wizards'' He said. He looked at her and smiled. He kissed her lips. ''Thank you for the advice, but right now i just can't tell them'' He said. He looked at her and smiled. He just felted soo good around her.

''You make me smile and feel soo good'' He said. ''I don't know how to ask this but Nikki will you be my girlfriend'' He asked. He just wanted her to feel special. He just wanted her. He kissed her head and looked at her. He just smiled and waited to hear what she saided.

Nikki smiled hearing him then looked down listened to him. His story was sad but she looked up and nodded. ”I’m so sorry. That’s not right. If it was me I would have told you and asked you.”she said softly then looked at him and nodded. ”I understand.”she said and smiled then was surprised when he kissed her. Swallowing she smiled at him and nodded. ”You’re so welcome and you can tell them when you are ready.”she said softly to him. Taking a deep false breath and smiled. ”I’m glad I can make you smile and feel good.”she said softly and leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled then looked at him as he spoke and tilted her head and her jaw dropped hearing his question. ”Really? Of course I’ll be your girlfriend, Jake. I would love to.”she said softly and felt incredibly special suddenly. Closing her eyes she felt him kiss her head and she smiled kissing his cheek. Hugging his neck she smiled at him. She was happy. So very happy.

He smiled when she was soo understanding. He was happy that she saided yes. He kissed her head. He then wrapped his arms around her. He felted soo good again. He missed his past yet it was time to move on. He smiled at nikki. ''Yeah well i haven't seen her since she turned me'' He said. ''For some reason school is harder to be around people then at home'' He said. ''Sometimes i want people blood but i know i can't'' He said. He just loved talking to her. He felted soo good at the moment.

''So after you give your presents to your siblings do you want to be with me for the rest of the day and evening'' He asked. He just wanted to be around his girlfriend. He really did like her. He just wished nothing would happened like his past. He just grinned and waited for her to respond.

Looking at him she took a deep breath when he kissed her head. She moved closer and rested against him. ”Well I’m not gonna be like her. I promise. I wouldn’t dream of it.”she said and nodded hugging him. ”I understand. It was hard for me my first year here. But I’ve been a vampire since I was born.”she said softly to him then smiled and nodded. ”I’d love to. I want to spend time with you.”she said softly to him and took a deep breath and nodded. ”What do you want for Christmas?”she asked softly taking his hand and linking their fingers.
