It was the day after the Yule Ball, which could only mean that Christmas was just around the bend. The guys had spent most of the afternoon decorating the place. It was their tradition. But now Jay was lounging on the couch just strumming his guitar aimlessly while the others did their own thing. Benji had went to his room with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and was working on catching up on all his missed assignments from his Azkaban stay. His room had a small mini christmas tree on his dresser that was all he allowed to be put in his room while he was working. Much more decorations would make it distracting for him.
Benny was also in his own room... packing. His bed was filled with clothes as he was trying to figure out what clothes to wear for both the Trip to Australia for Bray and Paix's wedding and his and Emi's trip to Germany. His room was really decorated with lights and garland.
Back to Jay... He was just strumming to the song that was playing in his head which hadn't been written yet. On the table beside him was a cookie tin filled with cookies that were freshly made and a hot chocolate with whipped topping and powdered chocolate was on it. The room had a big Christmas tree in the corner all decorated with ornaments and a star on top. There even were stockings on the fireplace, not that the guys would actually believe that Santa would come or anything... it was just there to complete the look . And to show the guys' childish sides.There were gifts already under the tree and a train silently chugging along in a circle. They had truly gone all out as always.

 Cass liked her job but she was tired from the ball and tired from work. However she was a really hard worker when it came to her job. She knew that Krispin didn't have to give her a job, that is was probably a favor. So she worked just about as hard as she could. She knew she could not slack even if she was tired and having a particularly tough time with morning sickness.
So when she was done she happily dragged herself back to the apartment that belonged to Benji, Benny, and Jay. She was also grateful that they were letting her stay there with Benji. She was trying to pull her weight there as well. She did laundry, cooked, just tried to work for her keep some. She didn't want to be a burden after she had been a burden for years. Also she did feel a need to repay them for all they had done for her while she was sick.
Cass opened the door and walked in, but immediately she had to stop for a moment. She was met by a dazzling ammount of christmas decorations. It kind of shocked her to see all of it. She looked around for a moment but then shrugged an sat down in a chair. "Hey Jay."

Jay didn't look up when he heard the door open, because it could have been Jerad or one of the others coming over. But he did look up upon hearing Cass's voice. He smiled lightly and said in a friendly tone, "Hey Cass...How are you? How was work today?" He always asked how she was and such. He stopped playing and lazily put the guitar back on the stand which he had placed in front of the table.
He then took a sip of his hot chocolate which had cooled down just a tad bit. Just enough that it wouldn't burn his throat as it went down. After swallowing, he made a random comment, "the decorations may be a bit too much but we were having too much fun to stop" He laughed gently. then he offered her a cookie.

Cass slung her bag from over her shoulder as she once again looked at all the decorations. "Work was fine but I am tired. I should not have gone to the Yule Ball." Still she had been about and on her feet all of the day, in fact she was very good about it. She was not the sort to give up if she was tired. She did lean back now though, in the chair she occupied. She let her head rest to the side.
"I can see that you all went a little overboard with the decorating." Her cheeks were colored from the cold. She was starting to look healthy again, still thin but no longer gaunt and hollowed out. Her hand slid over her abdomin, feeling the difference that none but she could. "I still have to do my christmas shopping. I just don't know what to get anyone."

Jay smiled as he listened to her response to his questions. "quite understandable. I mean sure.. everyone is probably tired but you have more reasons to be."He meant with the being pregnant, working and the ball the previous night... he could only imagine how tired she was. He was on a break from working unless someone truly needed him. like emergency. Since he had promised Selena that he would take a mini vacation from work. but that hadn't stopped his mind from working.
"yeah we sorta did go overboard. but the least decorated room in the house is Benji's room... he just has his mini tree on the dresser. and the most outrageous is Benny's room. His freaking bedroom door has wrapping paper on it and such." said Jay with a laugh about the decorations. He took another sip then he got a cookie and dipped it in there like one would do with milk and cookies. and then took a bite of it.
"sometimes i have the same problem. I am half way done with my shopping list. I have to go out and look more tomorrow if i want to get everything done before the party." he sighed lightly."i think it doesn't really matter what one gets because it is more fun giving than receiving or so they say.Just do what some of us do.. make something instead of buying." he shrugged.
