Cass was very nearly shaking where she stood. Her hands were balled at her sides and she looked as if she was ready to punch someone. She was tired, so tired after managing like this. She hadn't even really wanted to go out here tonight, but now she was glad that she had done so. Still all the same she could not overlook what was happening right now. She gave Jerad an appreciative look. She appreciated that he was standing up for them as well.
She was still just fuming. She just wanted the one person she loved most in the world was safe, healthy, and happy. She knew that he deserved so much better than what he had. He deserved better than being trapped in that form, than becoming a teenage father, than having to be with her. But because he was Benji, because he was so wonderful, he was going to be all of those things.
"Good, I expect to see those changes by the end of the week." Then Cass turned and walked away from him. She walked away from all of them, she could not be there for a second longer, and she didn't stop. She didn't stop until the ministry was out of site, and then she found a bench abd plopped down on it.

Jerad and Benny waved off the minister in sickly sweet fashion as Benji, with Jay still on his back , followed Cass to the bench. Benji plopped down on the ground near her and Jay hopped off. Jay wandered up a tree to watch everything. Benji had fallen asleep where he laid. It was almost daybreak. soon he would be back to his normal form.
Jerad and Benny finally made their way over. It was Benny who suggested that they should all grab some breakfast after Benji changes back. Jerad shoved him playfully and suggested they get sleep and have a brunch later. so they walked off to banter about that, and left the others be for a while. A Few minutes later the sun had risen and Benji was laying in the snow covered grass... in human form with his eyes closed. He was soaking in the sun and chilling his warm body at the same time. He needed to relax because that escape was both physically and emotionally tiring.

Cass felt exhausted, but still she was shivering. It was too cold for her to be out like this. Wher was benji? She didn't see thim with the guys but then she figured that he would catch up with them. It was easy for her to decide what to do next with herself. Given her condition she could not let herself stay out in this cold. She might fall asleep. She was sure hat the gu ys would look over Benji for at least tonight. She knew she should though. Still it was a lot for one night.
She apperated back to the apartment that Benji owned with Jamie and Benny and climbed into the bed that she had shared with Benji often enough. She had taken up a sot of residence there in his absense. She fell asleep there, cheek pressed to the pillow, curled up on her side.

Benji awoke twenty minutes later, actually shivering. He sat up and looked around. He had a frown on his face to notice that he was seemingly alone. But when he stood up, he felt Jay jump off the tree limb and land on his shoulder. Benji messed with the monkey's head and told him to get off. Jay did and soon changed back into human form. then Jay helped Benji get back to the home since his wand wasn't due back to him until the end of the week. because he coulldn't snag it while in his wolf form.
Once Benji got inside the home, Jay left again. Benji wandered into his bedroom. A soft smile formed upon his face when he spotted Cass sleeping there. It was like life was going back to some sort of normalcy. He whispered softly, "good morning,sweet Cass." He kissed her exposed cheek,since the other one was obscured by the pillow. then he curled up on the beanbag chair and drifted into a light peaceful sleep.

Cass was fast asleep, exhausted and sore and all out of adrenaline. That had stopped her from thinking straight, otherwise she would have waited for Benji until they told her not to. She could not stay out in the snow forever in her condition. She was fast asleep and didn't even wake up a little when Benji came in and kissed her cheek. She just slept on, silent and still. It wasn't until about three hours after she fell asleep that she woke up briefly.
Cass stretched a little as she started to wake up. She blinked a couple of times and then sat up and spotted Benji there. She looked at him a smile speading across her face. That was the Benji that she loved. She brushed the hair out of her face. "Benji?' She called softly to him. "Benji, baby, what are you doing over there?"

Benji awoke to hear Cass's voice. His blue eyes opened widely and a smile grew wider than his eyes were. "Good Morning Beautiful" He said with a yawn.then he stood up and went over to the bed and sat on the edge. "you looked so peaceful that i didn't want to wake you with me hopping over there. So i went to my other favorite sleeping spot." He hugged her gently and muttered, "feels so good to be back here with you"

She smiled when he woke up and smiled at her. She moved, slowly and tiredly but some, towards him when he sat down. "Good Morning Handsome." She replied fairly in turn. Almost immediately her arms were circling around him. She listened to his excuse and then gave him a pull, though she had been instructed not to do things like that for her own health, onto the bed. She kissed him on the cheek, and then on the lips. Then Cassie yawned and laid back down, tugging benji to do the same. "I missed you so much. I love you."

Benji laughed gently when she had said 'good morning handsome'. He really didn't think he looked that good. Especially after the rough weeks he had in that horrid prison. But it made him appreciate being around her even more. He smiled at her even more, realizing that he was indeed home here with Cass and it wasn't some dream. He really didn't want to leave the hug. He kissed her back both on the cheek and lips. His eyes had that sort of twinkle in them. He was finally happy again. "i missed you too. so very much. thoughts of you were the only thing keeping me sane in that place" He said honestly. "I love you too. " He added happily as he laid back on the bed. His head tilted to the side to grin at her. "i owe you and the others... my freedom"

Naturally Cass didn't care what Benji thought, she thought he was just as handsome as ever. That was true and she was just so glad to have him back that it did not even matter to her. She was just glad that he was back and that he was with her and that he was as safe as safe could be in her opinion. She was glad that things were going back to the way that they were supposed to be. "I missed you too, all the time. Ask the guys, it was bad, but you are here now." Cass relaxed back for a moment but then she rolled over and rested her head on his chest. "And I owe you my life, fair is fair."
