The Task at hand{Izzy

The First Task was about to start. the Champions were all in the tent for the task to start. The students were all in the stands ready to watch, for the stands were erected around the enclosure. There were Three types of Dragons in the enclosure. one for each of the champion. And the Minister was holding out the bag that contained the mini version of each. Adrian stood in front of Izabella Jodine. He held out the bag and told her that the Species of Dragon that she was going against was... the Chinese Fireball and that she was going third. He explained that they would have to get to the golden egg. and who ever fought the dragon to get to the egg without the other eggs getting trampled on the fastest would win the first task.

Izzy stood there shocked. She was last. She bit her lip and looked at the ground. She walked over and sat down. She pulled out a picture of her and Madee and smiled as the two in the picture played in the leaves. Izzy looked up watching as Kyle went….then Emi. Izzy took a deep breath and kissed the picture. ”Je t'aime Madee. Et je t'aime Alex. Les jumeaux aussi.”she said softly to herself then her stomach turned and she ran over to a trashcan and threw up. Wiping her mouth she stood there closing her eyes and placed the picture in her pocket and sighed. It was her turned. Biting her lip she double checked to make sure her wand was still there.

”Vous pouvez faire ceci, Izabella. Vous pouvez faire ceci..”she said softly and walked out onto the field looking around she smiled hearing cheers from her school and her friends around the arena. She easily spotted Alex and smiled at him then looked around trying to find her dragon. Her eyes grew when she saw the scarlet scaled leg near her. She looked up as the dragon looked around. Izzy gasped and tried to make a run for the egg dodged it because he felt heat coming behind her but her pant leg caught fire. ”Condamnez-le !”she said quickly putting it out. She was glad she had hid behind a rock and sat there listening to the walking dragon but lost the sound of it and turned and saw it.

Quickly getting up she scrambled to get up and ran to hide but as she was running she didn’t realize it until it was too late. The dragon turned the other way and used its tail to whip and hit her in the stomach and cause her to slam into the wall behind her. Hitting it hard she sat there for a few moments being that she had black out. Finally coming to she coughed up blood and looked up seeing that the dragon was now on the other side of the arena. Biting her lip she ignored the blood coming from her mouth and her several broken ribs and other broken and sprang bones and bruises all over her body along with the cut on her forehead and cheek and pulled her wand.

She pointed it at the dragon and yelled at the top of her lungs. Duro! Instantly the dragon was turned to stone. At that Izabella took off walking as fast as she could with her injuries and picked up the egg and coughed up a little more blood. Looking around she heard her classmates cheer for her. She smiled a bloody smile stood proud of herself. Swallowing the rusty tasting blood she stood there with her painful injuries waiting to be helped off the field. Izabella held tightly to her egg not letting it go.

[ALEXANDER JENSEN JOHNSON]

It was torunement time, the first task had been announced and Alex had heard about the previous tasks, it was sad at the fact that they couldn't come up with anything new. Before the tournement had started Alex had seen Izzy in the tent and had given her a peck on the cheek, sure he cared for her greatly. They both had been using each other to make the ones they loved jealous so that they admitted they loved each other and move on with it. The only thing was Alex and Izabella had a history and were kinda on the same path as they had been before, but without the drugs and drinking as they had when they were younger.

Alex had taken a seat in the stands for Hogwarts students and watched Izzy preform her task, it was brutal she wasn't doing so well out there, especially when her robe caught fire and she was thrown against the wall. That wasn't to good and he knew her secret, he wanted to rush to her side and help her, but that obviously wasn't allowed. When her task was over however, he made his way down to see if she was ok. He really wanted her to be alright and not die, maybe he'd be able to heal her a bit. That blow to the chest must have been real hard on her. When he made it to her side, he just looked at her, just wondering if she'd give him any type of response. "Izzy?... Izabella are you alright?

Izabella looked up seeing Alex and tried not to smile because of the blood in her mouth. ”Umm…no…it hurts Alex…”she said resting against him finally. ”Help me down from here.”she asked holding her egg still. She swallowed some of the crimson but almost vomited at the taste. Blood trickled down the corner of her lips. Her head was hurting and her body ached and hurt from the broken things in her body. She just wanted to rest. That dragon had done a lot of damage to her body and she didn’t know exactly how much but she knew she needed to get to the medical tent so she could rest. She figured she hadn’t won this task. Izzy just wanted to get out of the arena.

[FAUVE CHIMERE ROUSSEAU]

Fauve was worried sick for Izabella as she stood beside Madee watching over her as her friend went off to face the dragon. The Chinese Fireball, she believed was choosen for Izzy and she took Madee's hand in her own. "Soyez courageux, Madee. Tout ira bien. Maman ira bien." She whispered reassuredly into the young girl's ear, stroking her hair in comfort. She was glad to care for Madee like she did before.

She looked out into the field where Izzy was battling the dragon and gasped at seeing fire emerged on her. "Izzy! Attention! S'il vous plaît soyez prudent!" She cried out for her best friend and held her child close to her. "Elle est bonne, un précieux. Elle est bien." She kissed the girl's forehead soothingly and smiled down at her. Fauve was also trying hard to believe what she was saying as well, but didn't hint on it as she watch the task. She sighed in relief as Izzy got her egg and walked away. "Marvelous, Izabella, brillance simple! Félicitations! Vous l'avez fait!" She shouted over the cheers.

Fauve watched as Alexander Johnson meet with Izzy, and noticed how Izzy was moving. She didn't want to worry Madee, but something was up with her friend. She was concern. She didn't know rather to go to her or stay here to keep Madee busy. She didn't know what to do, or how to do without giving way to hysteria. She couldn't think well as she stood there. "Allons voir, Madee," she said as eventoned vocial as she spoke.


Translations:

• Be brave, Madee. Everything will be all right. Mom will be fine.
  
• Izzy! Watch out! Please be careful!
  
• She's good, precious one. She's be fine.
  
• Marvelous, Izabella, simple brilliance! Congratulations! You did it!

Madee stood there with Fauve. She had been told by her mummy to not watch. She didn’t want her to worry about her. Madee knew that so she just unwillingly listened to Fauve as she had her eyes covered the whole time. She jumped when she heard the dragon roar and clung to Fauve with her eyes tightly closed. She bit her lip listening to the scary dragon that was hurting her mommy. She clung tight to Fauve and whimpered and then looked up at Fauve when she kissed her forehead and nodded but clung to Fauve still and closed her eyes again.

She heard Fauve cheer for her mummy and she opened her eyes and screamed seeing a giant dragon statue about to go after her mummy. She looked up hearing Fauve and nodded but rushed over to the big dragon and hit it. “NE BLESSEZ PAS MA MAMAN ! DRAGON MAUVAIS!”she said making several people around her laugh. She stomped back to Fauve and took her hand. ”Pouvons-nous aller voyons-nous ma maman maintenant? Je veux rendre son sentir meilleur. Svp?”she said sweetly to Fauve. Madeline wanted to be with her mommy right now.

Translation:
1. DO NOT HURT MY MOMMY! EVIL DRAGON!
2. Can we go see my mommy now? I want to make her feel better. Please?

[FAUVE CHIMERE ROUSSEAU]

"Oui, Madee, un précieux, nous le pouvons." Fauve said as calmly as she can and she took Madeline's hand gently into hers. "Nous permettre d'aller voir la Maman," she grinned at her and walked her over to where Izabella and Alexander were. She tried remaining sincere as she does so. She didn't want Madee to worry too much, however she, herself, felt like something was wrong with Izzy. She didn't look well to her.

When she reached them, Fauve said with a smile, "Vous avez fait grand, Izzy. Tourner très excellent qu'elle pour lapider. Simplement le Génie!" She was beaming at her friend in a new light of respect. She looked down at Madee for a moment and allowed her to go to her mom. She looked at how her friend was looking and frowned. She was concern and felt weak at seeing Izzy like this. "Alexander? Izabella? Êtes-vous bien? rien Besoin d'aide?"



Translations

• Yes, Madee, precious one, we can.

• You did great, Izzy. Very excellent turning her to stone. Simply Genius!

Izzy sat there as she let the healer fix her up. She took a deep breath and winced lightly. It hurt but she didn’t let her bother her. Swallowing hard she breathed in and glanced up hearing Fauve and Madee. Smiling softly she let the healer finish healing her and took a deep soft breath. Madee rushed over to Izzy and hugged her close. Taking her daughter into her arms she held her close and smiled softly pulling her onto her lap. ”Salut bébé. Avez-vous maintenu vos yeux fermés comme je vous disais à?”she said softly to Madee. The little girl just looked up at Izzy and nodded smiling brightly and hugged her mom tight.

Looking up she laughed lightly hearing Fauve and just shrugged. ”Merci. J'ai juste fait le premier charme qui est venu à l'esprit. Je n'étais pas exactement sûr si cela fonctionnerait mais évidemment il faisait. Mais il a blessé beaucoup. Merci d'observer Madee mais je pense que je peux envoyer sa maison pour la prochaine.”she said hugging her baby girl. Taking in a breath she looked at Fauve and shook her head. ”Numéro Merci cependant.”she said softly to her friend happily.

2. Thank you. I just did the first spell that came to mind. I was not exactly sure if it would work but obviously it did. But it hurt like hell. Thank you for watching Madee but I think I may send her home for the next one.

(Izzy isn't pregnant with twins. She and Alex already have twins. They were born 2 and a half years before the site.)
