Don't wanna end up here{Cass/Any

[CASSIOPEIA _____]

Cass struggled with all of this. She could not help it, this was hard and she was sick to her stomach with worry. She knew she had to calm down though, anxiety and stress was not good for the baby. She knew that if she carried on too severely she could risk a miscarriage and that would not do anyone any sort of good. So she finally brought her head up. Her lips were still trembling as she obviously tried to calm herself. She looked at Jerad. "But who?" That was her one question. Then she looked at jay, wiping herone of her eyes but forgetting about the other. "I really need him, I can't do this alone. I love him."

[BENNY GALLAGHER]

Jerad gave her a gentle smile and said, "don't worry your head on it. i can find people who would side with us about Benji. Starting... with my parents. They are sympathetic to the werewolves... as in, they are more kinder to Benji and the other Weres who would want to talk to them. so they can run stuff in their paper..." Jay nodded and muttered that he was sure that they could find alot of people who would agree that self defense and protection was not punishable. then he wiped her other eye before saying, "i can tell that you love him. and he loves you. and we will find a way for him to get out."

Cass sniffed a little. "It doesn't help that its only my word, not one bit. Great, the disgraced Black daughter and a werewolf verses a dead pureblood with ministry ties. Oh God this is a mess." Still she knew that Jerad and his family could do a lot of good for them, still that would take time. Who knew how long Benji would have in there? Another horrible thought struck her. "W-what if he dies in there? What if he never..." She was getting upset again, and she couldn't manage to to bring herself to say it. What if he never gets to see the baby? She tried to get herself under control again. "No, we need to prove he isn't dangerous. That will be the quickest way to free him."

Jay sighed and said,"yeah... that is not good. The truth seems not to matter when it comes to disgraced people and weres. damn the ministry.That worries me. When the truth is not enough." he crossed his arms in thought. Jerad looked at Jay and Cass. "if i get ahold of my family soon... we can try to expose the Minister...and we could also get Benji out soon." "He won't die in there. i will make sure of it. He will get out. " then Jay said, "but how can we show that he isn't dangerous. "

Cass was starting to feel worn out. She had been here all the time and so she hadn't slept much and the boughts of sadness and general overwhelming emotin were not helping, not in the least. She sighed again as she tried to think. This was a hard thing to define. How was she supposed to get close enough to him in Azkaban when he transformed? And then there was the matter of the lack of a potion. "You know how Jamie." It was a big risk, and all the more so given that she was pregnant. Still in Cass's mind it was a chance that had to be taken.

Jay looked at her with wide eyes. "are you suggesting that you get near him when he hasn't taken his potion? That is beyond risky. even i wouldn't want to be near him without that potion. well in my human form that is. " He shuddered. Jay was normally known for taking risks... but this was too scary for him. "and then again, they would say that the only reason he is calm is because you and he are having a kid together."

Cass nodded in responce to that. She had been donig research on werewolves just so that she was prepared for anything strange she might encounter. Also it had given her something to do when she was ill and still strong enough to hold a book in her hands. She was determined to do this while she could. "I know its risky but it could be worth it." She tried to think how to put the next part. "Actually, from what I've read, it wouldn't. In fact the baby might have a similar werewolf smell as he carries the gene still. Werewolves don't run in pacts, in fact unless they have some control the often try to kill each other... Also some animals kill their young, or try to, especially the males.." It was a scary thought.

At that, Jay sighed. "if you are sure... but we have to find a way to make it easy for you to be near him at that time... " then he said in a sure tone, "Well then it is a good thing that Benji has some control at least. But you think he could have enough control to get him free?" He was slowly warming up to the idea.

Cass nodded slowly. "I think its the quickest way to get him out, and I don't trust that the minister will keeps him safe there. Still it is a risk." This thought did plague her. She wasn't sure if Benji would be able to control himself and if he couldn't, well it could cost her life and the baby's. That also would prove he was dangerous and cost his life and freedom. She furrowed her brow. She bit her lower lip, still acutely feeling Benji's absense. "But is it too much of a risk to take?"

Jay nodded in understanding. "although the quickest way for him to get out would be for him to escape don't you think?" He shrugged lightly.then he said, "agreed. i don't trust the minister as far as i could throw him. we need to bring back Kingsley... he was the better minister. Damn Were haters put the other minister up there and forced Kingsley to resign." He crossed his arms in disgust. Jay thought about it and said, "it may be too risky... but then again..." he didn't think he needed to finish his thought.

The crucial question came next. "Do you really think that is wise? I mean they are already treating him like an animal, he shoudn't have to run like one." There was not need to say that she agreed with what Jay said about the minister. It was clear from her face what she thought. It made her so angry, and she knew her family was probably a big part of it in all honesty. That just mader her hate them more, whichwas saying something. They would never have a place in her baby's life, that is for sure. She knew thatwas absolutely true. "And what happens if he kills me?" The possibility was out there.

"of course i don't think it is wise. but... if he did get out... they probably would follow him. and if that happens... and he comes across you... and doesn't attack you, it could be a way for them to see that he isn't dangerous." said Jay cautiously. Then he sighed. "at least Kingsley would have been more fair to Benji. " he muttered lowly. then he thought about it. What would happen if Benji attacked her... "well i don't think he will. but if he does... he would never forgive himself. and then they would definitely lock his ass up or worse."

Cass was not sure what to do in this particular case. She had suggested this but every single inch of her body now was tingling not to do this. She was not sure what to do about this. "It is a good plan, but I don't think I can do it." She hated to say that to him. She should have been bravery. However something else was winning out over her. "Every inch of me that loves Benji wants to do it but at the same time every inch of me that is motherly instinct says no. That tells me to protect my child." It was the hormones after all. She could not stop those. "I am sorry."

Jay nodded and said, "that's alright. it is probably for the best. we just have to find another way to prove that he is safe then." But how, he didn't know. " no need to be sorry. the need to protect your baby is great.which was why i was hesitant about the whole idea of him going without his potion around you and the baby " He shuddered at the thought.

Even as she tried to control it Cass started to sniffle again. It was too much all at once, so much just happened. She was not sure how to handle it all. It made her feel slightly ill, and she put that down to morning sickness. All the same she started to blink rapidly, in an attempt to prevent tears. Cass teared up anyways, hiccuping out a few sobs. "This is all just too much in a few weeks. I just don't know what to do." She started to wipe under her eyes again but gave up on that after a few times.
