James is an outgoing friendly boy. He likes to pull pranks, and mess with people. He lives up very well to his whole namesake. He is not a troublemaker, but it always seems to find him. He has landed himself in detention a fair share of times. But he is a good kid full of life and good heart. Despite his knack for pranks. James is stubborn by his own nature, he doesn't really go for the word no. Much like his grandfather, when it came to his grandmother. He is brave in the face of danger, unless its large spiders then one can expect him to be screaming like a little girl. Quick with a broom, and decently book smart makes him so well on and off the quidditch field.

James would call himself a lover not a fighter. He'd rather be with a pretty girl then face a boggart, or anything any day. However he doesn't have the best of luck with girls. Poor timing his down fall. Much like his uncle Ron. He realizes things far to late, when it comes to such things. And so far with such things, most relationships tend to blow up in his face. To a point James has an issue with saying how he really feels. Which could be due to some sort of insecurities that he even is unaware about. Which none the less these things are some of the best things about him that make him who he is. He also has a great sense of Humor and much like his other Uncles Fred(r.i.p) and George, which this is something that more than often gets him in trouble. But he still finds time to laugh at such things.

James also tells it like it is. He tells what he sees. Even though he has grown up, he still gets overly excited about the little things from time to time. In other words. He is an over grown child at heart. Aside from any kind of temper tantrum sort of thing, that is one childhood thing he has out grown. Even if he is childlike He is a good friend. He is protective over them and a loyal friend. He knows how to keep a secret,(because he has some of his own) At the end of the day he still the big brother and true blue friend.

James Sirius Potter, was born on the fourteenth of March to Harry and Ginny Potter. He was the first born son, which his father named after his own father and godfather. For a while until Albus was born James was the center of attention. Even though he can't remember time. If he could he would have loved that. In some way with his first sibling, the young James couldn't help but feel betrayed, by his parents. Which made the child cause scenes and often get in trouble. Time out was the answer. The little boy hated this, being sat in a corner with nothing to do. Of course sat in the corner just made him think of more things he could do that would make him be put right back in the corner. He was a hyperactive child when he was very young and at one point actually tried to drown Albus in the bath tub, but Mummy caught him and punished by sending him to the corner, and no desert. (Albus doesn't remember this) Shortly after this incident is when Lily was born. Things with her were instantly different. James wasn't jealous of her. He wanted to help with her, but Ginny wouldn't let him because of what happened with his brother. It was around this time that he started to calm down some to try and prove that he could help with Lily. But none the less after a while it proved nothing so he gave up. And for a while even began to hate how Albus and Lily got everything and he got nothing at least that's the way he saw it.

By the time that he was seven years old. If he could have he would have completely done away with both siblings and been an only child. But things changed, the day that he got his first owl. In Diagonally after they had ice cream, they went to pet store. James really wanted a crup, puppy but mommy once again turned him down. So in a fury James ran off from her, when her and Lily were looking at Kitties. That was when he laid eyes on her. The most beautiful owl that he had ever seen. She looked the one from Dad's photo album. A majestic snow white owl. James grabbed the cage, and went running back to mommy. Begging her to let him have it. Ginny didn't want to at first. She felt that James wasn't really ready for such responsibility, but she gave into her son's begging for the first time in a long time. James was happy. He was seven years old and this was his chance to prove that he could take care of someone. Naming her Seri, proving himself is what he did. Getting in less trouble, and even getting along with his siblings. Ginny was happy that she made the right choice with her son.

The years went by, and soon it was James' eleventh Birthday. He got his letter to Hogwarts. He was really excited, he couldn't wait to be able use Seri to send letters back home, although he didn't expect to be sending many. Then the day came! September first. He went to Hogwarts, in the Great Hall he got sat down, and the sorting hat pondered what house to put him in. Without too much hesitation, it choose, Gryffindor. James had made the house of his parents. He was happy. Things for the first few months at Hogwarts were rather boring. The young Gryffindor wanted to seek out more. So when he went home for his first Christmas break, he found himself in his dad's office, snooping around. And in his desk he found some fold parchment. What he stumbled on was just what he was looking for. The Marauder's Map. He pocketed it and took it back to Hogwarts. He was right once it told him to work it it was just what he needed, he use it well.

During first year, his favorite class was flying. So the following year he tried out the Quidditch team. The first time he tired out he didn't make the team but second time.. he got it! He played Keeper for one season, then decided well got decided for him that it was too much for him to keep up with and quit. Only to return the following year and trying out for Seeker. Which to his surprise he got denied, and told to stay the Keeper. So James took back the keeper position. Now a few years later, he is in his final year Hogwarts, and still on the Quidditch team. He still has the map, for the most part, James isn't even sure what he will do when he graduates at the end of the year. He hopes by the end of the year to pull of some epic prank that will make him Hogwarts Greatest prankster, which is still held by his uncles Fred and George. Other than that he has no plans, he just knows that he doesn't want a career in Quidditch.
