Brother Needed. (Albus && James!)

[LILY LUNA -----]

Lily could barely think straight. Her hair had fallen down from it's up-do, her make-up had smudged slightly...but at the moment, she couldn't bring herself to care. She was sitting at a table with two of her other minions and three guys from the seventh year in her house, and they were tipping back shots and gossiping like nobody’s business. The dusty tables of the Hogs’ Head weren’t really bothering the sixteen year old Potter because she could barely think straight. They were drinking something stronger than Firewhiskey, though the name of what she was drinking, she did not know. All she knew was that she was having a good time, even though it was seriously late. One of the seventh years said that he had to go, and the other two followed them, one giving Lily a kiss on his way away from the table. Lily returned it, and winked at him as he walked out. Her minions giggled and started to jabber on about how hot the guy was, and Lily just rolled her eyes. They moved to get up, but Lily said that she wasn’t leaving.

She called over the bartender, asking for another shot. She tipped it back, and basically asked for them to keep coming. Why stop when the guys left? Her minions looked kind of nervous, and they talked about going to her brother. “Which one? Don’t you know? I have two!” Lily laughed. Her minions glanced at each other, and ran off. She rolled her eyes and then closed them for a second. The world had started to spin, and she had no way to stop the feeling. She continued, though, because she didn’t know what else to do. She knew that either James or Albus would be on their way by now, but she didn’t know how much time had passed, and so she wasn’t too keen on going outside to find out. After all, the grimy windows of the Hog’s Head were way too grimy to see out of. She downed another shot and shook her head slightly. What the hell was she doing? She didn’t know.

[JAMES SIRIUS POTTER]

James was in fact in Hogsmeade. He'd wandered over in his Caribou, form and decided to get some candy while he was in the area. So alas he transformed back, and went to Honeydukes and got some candy. He came out with his mouth full when some Slytherin girls stopped him one of them was freaking about Lily. The candy that was in James' mouth fell out on the ground as he. Pushed passed them he heard one of them saying that was rather rude. But James didn't care. He had to try and stop Lily.. from whatever was about to happen.

James found himself dashing into the hogs head. His blue eyes scanned the room for his sister. They finally landed on her. She was downing shots.. he wondered what they were for a moment she honestly looked like she was hit by a car or something. James had never seen Lily looking like.. well total shit before. He went to the bar and got a glass of water, before walking over to her. He put the glass down in front of her before he spoke. "Lily Luna Potter.. you look like something the dragons dragged in" James found himself chuckle in his thoughts at that one. Amused he'd have to remember that one later. He waited for her to say anything at all. Knowing Lily it would be something crude and rude...

[LILY LUNA -----]

Apparently, they had just grabbed the nearest Potter brother, which had been James. Wonderful. She didn’t even think of anything as he placed a glass of water on the table and started talking to her. She snorted when he placed the glass down, knowing that she wasn’t going to take a sip from that. Yeah, right. She wasn’t stupid. She felt like laughing at herself, because she thought she wasn’t stupid, but she didn’t. There was no time for self-loathing at the moment. None. Now was the time to make sure to shove off this brother before her minions found Albus and sent him over here, too. That would mean a little bit too much trouble for her…and not exactly something she wanted to deal with while she was this out-of-it.

The ‘dragon dragged in’? Was James really trying to be funny right now? She laughed slightly, and looked up at him with narrowed eyes, ignoring the dizziness. “’Dragon dragged in’? Jay, what are you saying?” She said, slightly slurring her words. She was mostly in control of her speech, though ‘mostly’ was the operative word. She rolled her eyes at his expression, though. “Why do you look like you’re looking at a train wreck or something?” That sentence had more words slurred than the one before. It seemed like a sort-of downhill thing. The more she talked, the more her words slurred, and the more it took to concentrate on what she was saying. “Just…get the hell out of here, James. You’re not wanted.” L intercepted another shot and tipped it back, still ignoring the glass of water set in front of her. She wouldn’t drink it unless she was forced, and knowing James, he’d never force her to do…well…anything.

[ALBUS S. POTTER]

Albus was in Hogsmeade picking up a few things when some Slytherin girls who hung out with his younger sister Lily. They ran up to him saying Lily was in trouble and that they had already sent James on his way to her. Now it wasn't like Albus didn't trust his older brother, but this was their baby sister they were talking about and she was in trouble. He hurried to the Hog's Head where the girls said Lily was. His emerald green eyes looked around the danky bar for his brother and sister before eventually spotting them together. He quickly hurried over to them. "Lils, what did you do?" Albus asked his little sister, concerned. He looked over at James, asking silently with his eyes if their sister was alright. "Is she drunk?" he asked James. Albus saw a glass of water in front of Lily, probably James' way of trying to sober their sister up. It didn't seem to be doing much good obviously as Lily was drinking another shot. Albus sighed and took a seat on a stool next to his sister. He raised an eyebrow at James questioningly, they needed to figure out what they were going to do.

[LILY LUNA -----]

Lily almost sighed when her other brother came through the door. Were they serious? They were treating her like some sort of invalid! Truthfully, at the moment, if they tried to move her, she’d fight back. But now, she was starting to get aggravated because now she had two people going against her now. She started giggling out of nowhere, and that turned into full-out laughing. Albus and James were too funny. They were looking at her as if she had done something wrong. “You know…I haven’t done anything wrong.” She giggled and slurred out, making the sentence almost unable to be understood, but she knew they’d understand. They somehow knew what their Gryff friends said when they were totally wasted and slurring, and so she knew they were used to decoding this kind of speech, especially James, with all of his stupid party-hard friends in the seventh year.

She tipped her head back for one last shot, and then stood up. The world started spinning, and she sat back down for a second, gripping the edge of the table tightly. She looked up at Albus and James, trying to get herself back under some semblance of control. That was gone, though. She was too drunk to walk on her own, but she didn’t want to rely on the two of them to get her back to the castle. She was sick of falling back on her brothers when she got into trouble, because that had happened once or twice over the years. Normally, though, those times were when she wasn’t unable to think for herself. She put her head down on the table for a minute and groaned. “Isn’t there anyone else but the brotherly duo to help me back to the castle?” She said, her words muffled by her arms. She closed her eyes for a second and the giggles came back, reminding her of how screwed she really was. She was laughing at herself, for being so damn stupid, and for relying on her minions for help; something she’d never do again.

[JAMES SIRIUS POTTER]

James couldn't think of any kind of snappy come back to say back to his sister. In all honesty he was fed up with her hostility. However she was his little sister.. and he'd always be there for her weather she wanted him to be or not. However he was somewhat releived to see Albus show up. He nodded to his brother. "She's shitfaced drunk.." He told him. He sighed for a moment before pushing up his glasses, and watching her.. as she tried to move. James would not have her try to find her way back to the castle like this.. he was worried that she might get lost and end up in the forest where something bad could hurt her.

James thought his words over for a moment. "Lills you haven't done anything wrong.. Albus and I are not mad at you.. we just want to make sure that you get back to castle safely.. that's what big brother's do we look over our little sisters" He told her. James was just being truthful.. he wasn't sure if Albus would agree with him or not. But that's the way James felt. If Lily needed him for anything all she had to was ask.. no matter what happened..even if it meant going against other family members to make her happy. Lily was special.. Lily was the baby.. he'd wanted a little sister when Albus was born.. which was why he didn't like him at first. So when Lily was born he was happy. And even now when she thought she was all badass. He still wanted to help her.

[ALBUS S. POTTER]

Albus ordered a Butterbeer from the bartender since it looked like they were going to be there for a while. "She's shit-faced drunk…" James told him. Lily started giggling out of nowhere, and that turned into full-out laughing. “You know…I haven’t done anything wrong,” Lily giggled and slurred out, making the sentence almost unable to be understood. He watched his little sister tip her head back for one last shot, and then stand up. She definitely looked unsteady on her feet, there was no way she was walking back to the castle by herself. Lily put her head down on the table and groaned. “Isn’t there anyone else but the brotherly duo to help me back to the castle?” she said, her words muffled by her arms. "Lils, you haven't done anything wrong.. Albus and I are not mad at you... we just want to make sure that you get back to castle safely… that's what big brothers do we look over our little sisters," James told her. Albus did agree with his older brother, they just wanted to protect their baby sister. “I agree with Jay, Lils. We don’t want you to get hurt, you’re our baby sister. Mom and Dad won’t always be around, but we’ll be always be here to take care of you no matter what,” Albus replied, looking intently at his sister then.

[LILY LUNA -----]

Lily didn’t think she had done anything wrong. She didn’t think she was in the wrong at all. She just rolled her eyes, though that made the room spin a little bit more. She groaned. “Someone, remind me not to roll my eyes. Pain.” She slurred. She heard him say that she was shitfaced drunk, and she started giggling. “No, really Jay? You win the smartest brother award.” She slurred, giggling once more. “Oh, and you guys don’t need to layer it on so thick. I know you love me and don’t want me hurt and all that.” She snorted.

“Fine, I’ll go back up to the castle with you. But you want to know something funny?” She asked, and laughed as if it was actually funny, but actually, it just made getting up to the castle a lot more complicated. She decided that she wouldn’t tell them for another few seconds, so that she could get her laughing under control. “My minions just took the last carriage up to the castle. So…we’re going to have to walk!” With her laughing under control, she looks to James and Albus, and sighed. She stood up and slipped her way out of the booth, leaning on the table. She threw some money down on the table, taking a little bit to take it out of her handbag, and turned back to Jay and Al.

[JAMES SIRIUS POTTER]

James sighed.. softly. He was in fact though happy that him and his brother were on the same grounds. He'd hate to have to haul Lily all the way back to Hogwarts alone. He cringed at Lily as she started to laugh. And sighed once more when she said they'd have to walk back to the castle. James quickly smiled. "Never fear the big bro duo is here, Ally get on the other side of her, and hold her up." He half ordered his his brother as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

Even if she didn't want to to be carried out this way.. it was going to be this way James didn't want to see her fall flat on her face in the dirt. Although that would be funny and he'd have to laugh at her. He still didn't want to see that happen to her. James pushed his glasses up with his free hand, and started to slowly head for the door. It would be a long walk back to Hogwarts..And honestly he had no idea what to do with her once they got her back there. He didn't know the password for the Slytherin Common room and they really couldn't take her back to the Gryffindor one..but really didn't matter as long as they got her someplace in the school safe.
