Frenemy Fun? (Kara!)

Lucian cast out a curse and it hit Kara, but it didn’t knock her own. Luc knew better than to hit her with ‘that curse’, he knew she knew other curses and he knew them as well. Sometimes the Johnson’s did something to surprise him. He nearly winced when Alex laid a hand on Lily. It wasn’t like him to show any emotion, but for some reason Lily just brought it out in him. ”Enough!” Luc said loudly and fought with Kara vigorously throwing curses left and right, until he made the mistake of using ‘that curse’ he had gotten so wrapped up in this duel that he had forgotten who he was dealing with.

Kara had heard Alex and stood there ready for Luc to fight her. Why he was doing this was beyond him, but she didn’t mind, this was the best stress relief she could ask for right now. As she and Lucian got into the duel he had begun to fire more rapid shots at her, some she caught and some she had dodged, it went the same for him as she fired a number of various curses at him as well. It wasn’t until Luc had gotten so wrapped up in this duel he had forgotten that he was dueling her, and it happened every time. Kara didn’t ever expect it though, because to expect it is to be weak and unaware of your surroundings. The moment the cruciatus curse hit her the moment her imperius curse hit him and she was standing and he was on the ground.

Kara had walked up to him on the ground and bent to his level. ”Didn’t think you could win this time did you? When do you ever win really? Kara said as she took out a knife. She was going to severely cut him up and there was nothing that Lily could do to stop her. She wanted her to watch and learn what happens when you piss her off. The tip of the blade was against his face and sliced it, a small trail of blood was now dripping from his cheek. Kara wiped it off and was bored, she would rather be doing this to Lily and not Luc. She lifted Luc off the ground and put him up against the wall. ”Target practice… Wanna go Alex?” She asked and tossed her dagger into Lily’s leg. ”I’ll hold him and you can toss the blade. Do you want two? I have another” Kara sent him a small smile and dug her other dagger out and hit lily again, this time in the shoulder where she could really feel it. She wanted to cut up her pretty face, but knew it would be too visible for others to see. Luc on the other hand she didn’t give a shit about, because he had it coming and had a habit of getting into fights. ”I loved you and we were perfect for each other! My family is going after your’s… the arranged marriage broken between our families caused death on both sides. Unbreakable vows are a nasty business. I wonder which member of your family took the fall.” Kara said wildly upset.

Lily watched as Kara and Luc dueled, they were a good match, and that’s probably why they had been the ‘it’ couple. Everyone knew not to mess with them and Lily didn’t listen. She wasn’t invited into their world, she had already been a part of it. She was just welcomed into their inner circle so quickly that she tore things apart. Lily Potter wasn’t stupid, she may be naive, but she had a plan from the moment she stood in front of them and she had succeeded. Her thoughts were interrupted when a dagger had pierced her leg. She winced out in pain, unable to speak because she had been gagged, which she was slightly thankful for. It gave her a chance to bite down and try to redirect the pain. It wasn’t very long after when she felt another dagger hit her shoulder. She tried to dodge it but she wasn’t fast enough. Lily now laying on her side was picked up and sat up right as Alex pulled both blades slowly from her body. Lily was screaming at the top of her lungs, but nothing was coming out. It appeared that Alex had once again placed an enchantment on her, so she did the next best thing cry. Tears rolled down her face as he finished pulling out the last blade and she was forced to watch as Alex threw them right at Lucian. She was confused when he had missed him both times and then bent down to untie her. ”Say a word about this Potter, and I will kill you myself.” Lily heard Alex say to her, but as he had said it that pit in your stomach feeling dropped nearly one thousand pounds as he said he would kill her if she ever spoke of this. After what she had witnessed Lily had truly believed that he would have.

Alex had watched as his twin was becoming more out of control. Well more like the weapon that their family had bestowed on them. This had only happened to him once before and he lost control for nearly a year and Kara was the one to bring him back. He didn’t want to see her go completely dark again either, although he wasn’t the one to pull her back, it had been Luc. Since they were no longer a couple, Alex had taken his aggression out on Luc for breaking his sister’s heart already. There didn’t need to be anymore bloodshed. Alex had used a spell for removing someone’s voice temporarily so he could remove the daggers from Lily’s body. He knew it would hurt her, so he didn’t want her screams alerting people that they were up to no good in this alleyway. However, being Alex, he pulled them out nice and slow with a cocky look on his face. When he was done he threw them at the wall on purpose, intending to miss his target and he knew that Luc would know the same thing. Alex then removed Lily’s gag and bindings then threatened her. ”your voice will return soon.” He briefly mentioned to Lily and then went toward his twin ”K, we’ve been here too long, we need to go” Alex said moving quickly.

Lucian knew when Kara had thrown the imperius curse on him he was at her mercy. He still loved her too much to be able to fight it and he knew that she needed to take out her anger, so he let her. It was his fault for knocking her up in the first place and then making a deal to have her sent off once she started showing signs that she was pregnant. It was his fault that she was put in an induced coma for seven months and locked up like a prisoner while he was here trying to prepare everything so that his past didn’t come back to haunt him. This was the downfall of the great Lucian Avery… the moment he made a deal with the Black family was the moment he had to let everything he loved go. He had no idea that once you stepped into bed with the Blacks that they owned your for life and sadly Lily would be next, and neither Luc or Lily knew it.

Luc listened to Kara speak, as she did he knew things could only get worse from here, but he didn’t have the energy to fight her any longer, but he also wasn’t weak, so he replied. “No, but i’m just biding my time.” As he watched Kara spiral out of control once more he hoped that she would aim for him and not Lily. He knew he could take the pain and the beating, but Lily, she had no idea what she had started and honestly, Lucian kind of wished that he had been here before this had all begun. When Kara asked Alex if he wanted a go, he thought he might, but then remembered Alex had already taken his anger out on him. That is how he ended up missing a few days at school. Alex had done a number on him and once again he had taken it and it had also been the end of Alex and Luc’s friendship. As Lucian watched as the daggers pierced Lily’s skin he felt for her. It was painful and even more painful when you pulled them out slowly like Alex had done. Lucian watched Alex’s stance, it was all set up wrong. He knew full well that Alex knew how to throw and he was missing something. They had been here awhile, people would start to get suspicious with noises coming out of alleyways. This is the reason that Alex missed, however he got pretty close to Luc’s face both times and soon enough he was released from the curse. Luc ran over to Lily and picked her up, she was in no condition to be going anywhere except to the hospital wing.

Kara was satisfied that Lily ended up with more pain than she had bargained for, Kara didn’t want the fun to end so soon, she was enjoying this feeling once again. Giving into the darkness that had been drilled into her since she was a young girl felt invigorating like it always had. That is what made her especially dangerous and everyone around her knew it. She had overheard her brother speaking and knew that he was right, the last thing she needed was a professor coming down the alley finding her torturing two other students and getting expelled because of it. Kara was thankful that she had her brother watching out for her. She released the curse she had on him and went to grab her daggers after he had run after Lily. ”Lets go” Kara didn’t want anything else to do with either of them and she disappeared quickly and quietly with her brother in just the nick of time.

”Mr. Avery, what are you… oh my Miss Potter. Grab my arm Mr. Avery, Miss Potter and I’ll get you to the hospital wing straight away.” Said the headmistress as she had found them nearly completely out of the alley and they apparated to the castle.
