The day was absolutely beautiful. Something that Selena was sure that would fade. But, since it was beautiful, why not enjoy it while it lasted. Looking out onto the water, Selena realized how much time she really did spend out here by the water. Something appealed to her here and she didn't know exactly why. It was one of life's mysteries that just wouldn't be solved she supposed. Oh well. If it were meant to be solved it would.
Lately, Selena's simply life had gotten a bit more complicated. So many rumors were going around about her that she was turning into what her sister Kara used to be. A wild Johnson girl that didn't care what other people thought. The second part was true, but she wasn't wild by any means. Especially since that picture came out of Selena and Scorpius. That was completely innocent and was taken out of context. Selena had been walking around campus when she fell into the water. Naturally she went to go see Kara because it was the closest place she could get dry close. From there, it had been an act of kindness from Scorp to lend her some of his clothes since Kara wasn't around.
Hopefully people wouldn't find her that person that would want to cheat on her love of her life with her sisters husband. Selena would never think to do that to anyone. Especially not to her sister, or to Jamie. Selena loved Jamie too much to ever cheat on him. Her future was with him and she wasn't going to let anything screw that up.

Jay had been wandering around with the guys when he heard the rumors. He was slightly disappointed, but he thought it was best to hear what is the truth... from the source. So he headed off to find Selena. Eventually Jay found her on the covered bridge. He sneaked up behind her and said, "Hey hun"
He was going to wait until later to ask about the photo. He was just happy to be alone with her at the moment. there was no need to rush to confront her about the picture... was there?

Jumping a bit, Selena smiled looking up at Jamie with a beautiful glow to her. Even if she was having a rough time with rumors, just being with Jamie for a short moment made her feel extremely happy. "Ello love. How are you?" She asked him putting a hand beside where she was sitting and patting it. Oh she hoped that Jamie hadn't heard the rumors, and if he had then he would confront her about it so she could explain. It was an innocent thing, and she didn't know where the picture had come from. Who would want to ruin someone's life or ruin it for a short time like that. Selena couldn't imagine why anyone would want to do that. Unless they were just evil.
Sighing, Selena looked back out onto the water and couldn't help but marvel at the beauty. How the reflections came off nicely, looking like the water was alive in it's own way. "Well. You want to sit with me?" She asked smiling again.

Jay smiled and sat down next to her."i have been...ok and yourself?" He was quite content to be there. but the longer he was there, the more he felt that perhaps it was best just to clear the air about the rumors... "i heard a rumor about a picture of you... but i don't really believe what they say. but... i just want to know what happened from you..." He said quietly. His tone was calm and he had tilted his head in a curious way

Watching him sit down, Selena couldn't help but feel a tension. There was something in her gut that just knew that he was going to ask. Just there was something. Before she would answer his first question on how she was doing, she heard him ask about the rumor. That smile went right down into a frown in an instant. She could feel her heart sink with shame of the crap that was being spread about her. Sighing, she looked at him with sad eyes and felt like she was going to cry. "I fell into the lake the other day. I went to go see Kara to get clean clothes since she was the closest. When I went, Scorp was there and Kara wasn't. He invited me in and gave me clean clothes of his since he didn't know which of Kara's would be okay to give me. It was completely innocent Jamie and I don't know where the picture came from. I swear."
The worry was building up inside of her and she hoped that he would believe her completely. It was the hard cold truth and nothing but the truth. That was all she would ever give Jamie, for as long as they were together that is what she would give him. Nothing but complete honesty. "Now everyone thinks that I slept with my sisters husband when I didn't! Gah, why can't people just leave me alone."

Jay listened to her quietly. then he said, "i believe you. I trust you. but you know i just had to ask you in person. " He gave her a kiss on her head. "i guess that this is what we get for wanting to be famous? but i trust you... always have and always will. "He pulled her into a hug. He believed her sure enough.a Picture ill gotten would not stop him from trusting her. "you never gave me a reason not to trust you before... so i prefer listening to you than the rumor mill"
