Seed of Friendship(Ducky)

Yvonne was on her way to Hogsmeade today, skies were a bit hazy but very beautiful still. She was meeting one of her friends at the Three Broomsticks, and she prayed Benji didn't tell anybody else about her blind date. It was her story to tell, and she'll tell it when she's ready.

She supposed it was fine for Benji to be protective over her after her last relationship with a boy, he was probably surprise she would willingly go on a date. He was probably shock since it had been a blind date which she set up through owls. Of course, given her past boyfriend who turned out to be abused and having her friends rescue her with half her body covered in bruises at the time, she should be glad Benji was worried.

The one who shock her the most was herself, but Xander was different. She knew it in her heart that he wouldn't hurt her. Yes, she was wary and alert, and she would call upon her friends to show up if she needed them. She preferred Benji didn't rip him limb from limb. She didn't want her friend to become a murderer and be in trouble. She wouldn't allow him if she had any say. If Xander did harm her in any way; she would allow him to be beaten yet not murdered.

She stopped in front of the Three Broomsticks and stared up into the clouds. It's been too long since she gone dating, but with Xander it seem natural. She hoped she pick well this time, and prayed maybe she'll finally found somebody. She didn't want to say it, but she was jealous. Benji, Jamie, Jerad, and Benny had found love, true love, most likely whilst she wasn't even close. She thought she found it two times already, but she was wrong. One was deadly wrong, she admitted, but this time she was sure she figure it out. Right? She hoped so as she stood there, staring sky-wise.

Benny was wandering the streets of Hogsmeade in relative silence. He was utterly frustrated with the Gossip Witch snooping into his and his friends business. Now, what was meant to be secret for a tad bit longer, was now public knowledge. It seemed like most if not everyone knew that he and Emi were now engaged. Well at least anyone who even bothered to check the latest gossip. He only read it to see what crap the gossip made up about him and his friends.

He supposed that it was great practice... for when they get a bigger following and such. But it was still annoying as hell in his opinion. That was how he found out about Benji and Cass's soon to be expected little bundle of joy. he thought it was cute that sometime within the next nine months or so that there would be a mini Cass or a mini Benji running around.

He wandered on towards the Three Broomsticks. It was then when he spotted his good friend Vivi. He smirked and sneaked up on her. He was standing right next to her before he said, "Hey Vivi!" with a perky voice.He hoped that she wasn't going to chew him out for the whole secret engagement thing.

Vivi, one second, thinking to herself, the next, jerking up at a voice that totally took her out of her reverie. After she calm down, Vivi looked and saw Ben G standing there. She smiled at him before she gave him hell for scaring her like that. It was a good thing Benny and her knew she didn't mean what she said at the moment or Benny would be neutered in about five seconds after her angry yelling. She took a deep breath and looked at her friend.

"How are you, Benny?" she asked when she was more relax. "And next time, don't sneak up on me," she said in an accusing voice. She raised an eyebrow at him and thought back to the gossip she read about. She wondered if it was true, but she had a feeling it was since she saw how both Emi and Benny looked like. She still wanted verification from somebody not a little gossip girl. If she read something like that again, she was going to find that GG and maim her.

"I got a question for you: did you propose or not to Emi?" The look in her eyes said she read the rumor and that she had a feeling he was engaged during the Thunderdome. Her arms were cross as she waited for the answer. She was calm yet anxious, but she tried hard not to show it in front of him or at least not at the moment as she looked stern at him.

Benny flinched lightly when she was giving him hell about scaring her.He apologized profusely about that. Benny thought it was funny to do that, but he wasn't going to say that. "Oh i am great... besides the whole Gossip witch spreading me and the guys' business around. "He muttered, rolling his eyes. "and sorry about sneaking up on you... it isn't my fault that you were in your own little world, and didn't notice that i was there" He said innocently as he could. "and how are you Vivi?" he finally asked.

Oh crap he thought when she said she had a question for him. He just knew it was about he and Emi.He bit his lower lip as he debated on whether he should tell the truth or to make the gossip girl look bad, and lie about it. But then again if he lied, it would make him look bad too. So he looked around before answering, "yes. Yes i did. any more questions?" He sighed lightly. perhaps it was freeing in a way to be able to confirm it.

Vivi inclined her head to him as her acceptance of his apologize and rubbed at her eyes. She guessed it was half her fault about being in her won little world, but she had a good reason for being up there. Her worries at the moment were gone from her senses, and thoughts about the concerns of her friends appear in her head. She placed her hand down from her face and answered his statements and questions. "I hate her... Gossips are bad... if I catch her doing other one again... lights out!" she shrieked with fury and sighed to let go of her loathing of the Gossip Witch. "It is partially mine, but still yours, too, Buddy Ben," she stated using an old nickname for Benny. "Fine. Crappy. Too many thoughts on the brain," she replied with a chuckle.

Vivi knew the look on Benny's face. It was his "Oh crap" face before it goes into his "debating" face. She wondered if she knew how predictable his face appearances were, but thought he didn't and smirked inwardly. She soon had on her "Don't you lie to me" facade as a feeling went on within her that he might just do that, but her facial expressions relax a bit as the confirmation from his mouth was sound.

"Mazel Tov!" she cheered brightly. She frowned a bit after that and asked other question. "Yes, I do." She moved closer and inquired, "Am I going to be invite? Am I going to be in the bridal party?" She smirked slightly and smiled with a delicate ring to it. She soon thought about Benji and Cass' baby which got another worried question on her mind since she did pass the club just a few minutes ago. Soon a feeling of dread washed her. "Why isn't the a show tonight? What happen? Is it the baby? Is it...?" She sounded scare and nervous now.

Benny laughed and said, "same here... i only read to see what shit they write about us all next. It's annoying but yet, it may be a way to get us ready for the big time." he smirked at that. then he said, "Ok ok... you win... it was both of our faults." He stuck out his tongue childishly. He hated to admit that it was his fault. "ah i know the feeling. " He had muttered in response to how she was feeling.

Benny gave her a toothy grin and said, "Thanks." then he answered her questions. "of course you would be invited... whenever we sort out the details. and you would have to ask Emi on that font.You know i have no say on that decision." He paused when he heard her next question. He groaned inwardly before saying, "the baby is fine... or at least if something was wrong with Cass's pregnancy, i am sure one of us would of heard about that. But it has to do with Benji... He's in the hospital recuperating. can't say much more in public about that. except for the band decided to have no shows until he is up to tip top shape again. "His face held worry about his best werewolf/name buddy.

Vivi snorted and wished she had her hands on the gossiping bitch so she would stop putting stuff up on her column. She nodded to what Benny saying about it being practice when they hit the big times. Celebrities always had a way of showing up and having their business by sacked by paparazzi. At least, she'll make so the Lost Boys got bodyguards, Vivi's thoughts were on her face at that. She chuckled at Benny giving in to her. "Exactly. I'm always win." She childishly did the same with her tongue. Sighing, she frowned, "Yes..."

Vivi grinned with her pearly whites showing through. "Welcome," she winked and laughed. She nodded. "Yes, I should go see Emi with those questions, huh?" She said happily. She was glad to see Benny's joy with Emiline St. Claire, but a part of her she's beginning to loathed was envious to see yet a happy couple while she was pretty much miserable. She prayed Xander was the one for her, however she feared her luck would run out. She gasped in agony at hearing Benji was injure. No, not Benji, please not Benji. She didn't know what she was doing when she push pass Benny and ran. Not going where she was going, but her impulses tell her to go find Benji. She paused in an alley and collapsed to the ground, crying her eyes out.

Benny laughed and said, "yeah yeah whatev."He rolled his eyes playfully. He was just gonna let her think that she always going to win. He then nodded and said, "yeah she is the one to go to. " Just then he felt her push him aside after he told her about Benji being injured. He ran after her and he stopped abruptly when he saw her collapse to the ground and he saw her cry.

Benny went over and pulled her into a hug. "Benji would be alright in a few days... he just has to heal from the doctors extracting a silver dagger piece from his rib... and scratches and such. But i could take you to him if you want to make sure."

Vivi snorted at him at his docile yet complex attitude, reply, and action, and she smirked at his rolling eyes and shook her head. She had a feeling he was just letting her think she won, but they're will see who was really winning later. She was very lucky to have a friend like Benny. If she had to have a bit of a party and laughter; it was Benny she'll go to. Jamie was another, and so was Benji. Lately Jerad hadn't really had time to be with her. He was too taken by Aurora, she thought a bit bitterly.

She cried and allowed Benny to pull her into an embrace. Silver! Did she hear right? Poor Benji. She needed to go to him, but couldn't as she just sob in Benny's arms. She felt drain out with worry, questions, and other stuff. Benji was injured by silver. No, he could had died if he was in wolf form. All Vivi could do was nod at Benny as she cries and cries. It took a moment, but she finally had enough calm down to speak after she was spend with her tears. "L-Let's go." Was all she could say at the moment.

Benny sighed deeply and told her, "i only know bits and pieces of what happened, thanks to Jay... Since he was called by Cass few hours after the fact. But apparently Benji and Cass were hanging out, doing who knows what... when they were confronted by one of Benji's Enemies... You know... that Flint Boy... Zach i believe his name was..." He shuddered and thought it was best to do the muffulto charm, which caused the people around them not to hear what he said next.

"according to what they told Jay... Zach was threatening both his life and Cass's life. and obviously if someone threatens Cass's life, they threaten the baby's life too... and Zach and Benji got into a fight. which resulted with Benji being scratched up and a dagger stabbed into his side... and Zach on the ground ... Dead" said Benny in a low whisper. The look on Benny's face was unusual for him... it was a mix of worry,fear,disgust and sadness. He obviously hated the fact that Zach had almost killed one his besties but then again, he didn't quite like the fact that Benji had killed him. It seemed so... out of character for Benji to do that.

Vivi allowed Benny to comfort her in her grief over an injured Benji whom she was worry sick to know what's wrong, what happen, and how he was doing. It was all spinning around in her head. She didn't know what's going to happen next, but did know she wanted to know why Benji was wounded in the first place.

She stayed silence during the explanation, and a mixture of feelings traveled across her face. Anger. Rage. Disappointment. Sorrow. Utter agony. Were just a few of the emotions she felt. She was disgust that Benji had kill somebody yet scare for him. She was proud of him for keeping his family safe yet very sad for Zach Flirt and his own family. She didn't know what was going to happen, but she paused as the images and thoughts ran through her.

"We must see him," she decided to say and looked up at Benny. "We need to see him." She urged him as she stayed there. She was weak and exhausted yet anxious to see Benji and Cass.
