Dear Jeri,

I was friends with this girl who's a bit younger than me, but then we started hooking up and after a while, things got weird. At first, I was just using her, but now I don't know how to deal with her. I mean, sure, she's still my friend, but I'm bad for her. I'm trying to keep my distance to protect her, but she just doesn't give up. What should I do?

Dear Confused,

I suggest that you go to this girl and tell her how you feel. Tell her you think you're bad for her. If she doesn't listen then tell her again and again. If she still doesn't listen then honestly maybe you're wrong and your not bad for her. A girl's heart is hard to explain. Maybe this girl truly wants to be with you and doesn't care the consequences. Love and lust are two very different things. If you care about this girl, which by your letter I'm assuming you do because you wouldn't be asking, then be completely honest with her because if you don't you may just lose your chance of being with her or being friends with her I should say. Be true to your heart. Don't listen to your head. Just listen to your heart. It will guide you to what you really wanna do. I hoped this helped you.
