Dear Jeri,

I need your advice... there was a rumor going around that i was pregnant with my boyfriends child, but the rumor is false and i don't know how to tell him that i wish it was true. I don't know what to do or say to make him understand that i truly love him and want to get married soon so that we can have that kid.

please help?

Dear Worried,

I understand. Gossip Girl has a huge problem with making stuff up. Anyways, try sitting him down. Where no one can find you and no one knows where you are and tell him first off your not pregnant and that the rumors are false. That he shouldn't worry about that. You should also tell him that you want to start a family young. That you love him and you believe you are ready to marry him. I'm assuming that you guys are of age and can get married. Let him know that you are ready to marry. I also suggest that you talk to him about having a family and having one young and see what he says. It couldn't hurt to just talk to him and see how he reacts. If he loves you, truly, he'll understand and want the same thing. I hoped this helped you.

Gossip Girl might not have had such an impact if the communication lines between you and your boyfriend were a lot more open. He would have already known that it was just a rumor and nothing more. I guess it's something you need to work on before thinking about getting married or having kids.
