Most people can feel it, the Order's been formed. Some are aware that they'll have to fight at some point in the future. The tension between the houses is hard to miss. Plans are being made, not just by the Dark Lord, but by the head master as well.
While this year may be a way for those dark souls to prove themselves to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, this year is also a normal one for many others. Not everyone is aware of what Hogwarts, of what the world, will undertake, or what sides they will choose when it comes down to that time! Most of them care only about getting through this year, and on to the next. However, it's now or never; it's time things get settled in this wizarding world of ours, don't you think?
