Jerad had been coaxed to come to the dance. To dance for once, instead of being in the band that played all night. sure they might get their chance to play, but they get a chance to dance first. Since he was going to be the only guy from the band without a date, he let someone set him on a blind date. He was told to meet this special person, near the tapestry that was there before the door.

Jerad was very nervous, because he didn't know who to expect. So he stood there, twirling the single flower in his hand, waiting. He hoped he wouldn't get stood up.

Aurora stood at the top of the stairs scared to death. She was afraid to go down because she didn't know who it would be waiting for her. A blind date...maybe this was a bad idea. But she decided to look to see who was waiting for her. She looked around the corner and quickly spotted a familiar face. Jerad......was he her date? She decided to test it. She walked down the stairs and walked over to him. "Waiting for someone?"she asked softly looking at him being curious. She didn't let it show that she might just be his date.

Jerad jumped slightly when he heard a very familiar voice. It was Aurora. Was she his date? he didn't know. He secretly hoped so. "Oh Hello Ms. Aurora... you look quite stunning this evening." then he said, "yeah, i was coaxed into going on a blind date... and i was told meet here.What about you? Are you meeting anyone ?" He was quite curious, about whether or not he and her were the blind dates. In his opinion, it would be funny but perfect.If it was true. So he waited for her response.

Aurora heard him and laughed lightly. "Funny thing about this date is that it isn't blind."she said softly kissing his cheek. "I do believe I am your date and thank you. You look pretty good yourself."she said then saw the flower. "Is that for me?"she asked standing there smiling. Aurora blushed lightly and looked at him. "I was kinda scared that my date would be a creep-o but turns out my date is a poet."she told him smiling brightly.

Jerad smiled and kissed her cheek. "well great. I am glad that it is you and not some nut job." He nodded and said "of course it is for you. and thank you" He had a trace amount of blush upon his face. "shall we head in? or shall we talk more before going in?" he asked playfully. He was quite happy that it was indeed her who was his date.

Aurora smiled hearing him and felt the kiss on the cheek. "Well...some say I am a nut job."she said and smiled looking at the flower. She took the flower and smiled softly at him blushing. "I don't mind. We can go in and talk. I don't mind."she said looking down at the flower blushing. He made her nervous but in a good way. It made her feel so warm and fluffy inside.

"well obviously i don't. perhaps i did before, but not anymore." said Jerad quietly. His whole opinion changed that one day. It was weird a difference a day could make. He grinned and whispered playfully in her ear, "you know, you look very beautiful when you blush, well in my opinion that is" He winked at her playfully. Then he went over to open the door for her. "Ladies first?"

Aurora laughed lightly looking at him. She shrugged and smiled. "You'd be the only one."she said softly and looked at him. She heard his whispered and blushed even more. "Thank you. You look pretty good yourself."she said seeing his wink and smiled. She walked with him and watched as he opened the door. "Thank you very much."she said walking in and waiting for him. The two 7th Year Ravenclaw perfects....on a date. Gossip witch would have a field day with this. Aurora knew just knew it.

Jerad laughed and said, "i am sure that i am not the only one" in a serious tone. He couldn't believe that for a second. That others would see her as a nut case. He knew many people nuttier than she is. Perhaps that was why he didn't see her that way? Regardless, He thought she was interesting either way.

He just shot her a smile as he went in to the room after her.The thought of the Gossip Witch hadn't crossed his mind for once, even though this was just the sort of situation that would get her going in his opinion.He just didn't want to think about it at all. "looks like it shall be a fun night"

Aurora smiled hearing him and laughed lightly. "Thats not true. I'm sure all the team thinks I'm nuts."she said looking at him happily. He was so sweet and kind to her. She bit her lip and took a deep breath. She took his arm and walked inside looking around. "I do believe it you are right."she said softly looking at him with a very sweet and happy smile. Aurora was nervous but happy to be here with him. She knew this night would be a good one.

"well obviously the team haven't seen the band in action... am i right? because we act more like nut cases... Benny and Jamie more, but you get what i am saying... compared to them.... you are perfectly sane." said Jerad rolling his eyes at the thought of her being nuts. He looked innocent after he rolled his eyes. He then shut up about the band, because he thought that it was best for him not to mention them more, unless the situation warranted it.

"why do i get the distinct idea that tonight might become gossip witch fodder, if not with us, some other people?"Said Jerad laughing lightly. He obviously didn't care for the gossip witch at all. she was annoying the hell out of him. But he sure hoped that it was going to be fun. He was sure it was going to be, but one could always hope more.

Aurora laughed hearing him and nodded. "This is probably true."she said softly looking at him. She took a deep breath and nodded. He was thinking the same thing she was. "She hasn't to get into everyone's business. One of these times her gossip is going to be so bad that it's going to make someone kill themselves."she said touching his arm and taking a deep breath. She walked to a near by table and sat her flower down and looked at Jerad smiling. Aurora blushed even being near him. She didn't know how he was doing it but she was enjoying it very much. He made her very happy.

Jerad chuckled lightly but then he heard what her next statement was. at this he frowned . He didn't want to think that the gossip witch was that powerful. "I sure hope not. I wouldn't want to see anyone kill themselves over some worthless piece of crap writing that the gossip witch writes.But i suppose there are those weak minded individuals who would cave into such pressures." He sighed sadly at the thought.

He tried to veer away from that subject because it was such a downer."would you like some drink or snacks?" He asked as they were close to a table. Around them, he could see the place was getting packed. He was sure he had seen people from other schools there as well. but he didn't question it.

Aurora nodded at him and bit her lip. She didn't want to think of it like that but she knew it could happen. "Sorry...."she said to him then looked down and back up smiling. "Uhh....sure. That would be nice."she said softly looking at him with a bright smile. Aurora looked at him and smiled. She looked at him and nodded. Stepping toward him she placed her hand on his cheek and kissed him lightly on the lips. She pulled back and looked at him. "I'm glad it was you."she said looking at him smiling brightly at him.

Jerad smiled and asked, "what would you like to have?"He didn't want to get her something that she wouldn't want. That would just be completely rude of him. So he had to ask. Just then he noticed her step closer and gave him a kiss. He kissed her back. "i am glad it was you too. and sorry about the other day" He felt it was only appropriate to apologize for leaving her at the bridge.He hated the fact that he had left her on the bridge, after just saying moments before that he had plenty of time.
