First Meeting {Izzy and Alex}

It was another night and Alex was having a grand time in one of the local adult bars within Hosmeade. Booze, women and joints with his best mate Lucian. The only reason he was able to do all this was because Lucian’s Uncle Jack Avery owned the place. Things were perfect in his life, or so he thought. Alex was extremely happy for his twin, she was happy having fun and with the man she wanted to marry, well regardless if they got along; it had been an arranged marriage. Everything was on track for her and he was living the good life as a play boy, that was until he saw her walk in. Alex took his arm off one of the girls that was flanking him and he adjusted himself and sat more up right. Grabbing his glass of whiskey he watched as she stood there taking in her surroundings. This girl was a petite build, couldn’t be any older than him and had gorgeous medium length brunette hair. Alex knew that he needed to add this one to his collection. ”Yo! Be back soon, found me another good catch.” He called out to Lucian, his mate nodded and Alex went off in the general direction of this very attractive woman.

Once he could see her close within his grasp, he had noticed he wasn’t the only one trying to get her attention. There was another man who was trying to chat her up and Alex knew that this wouldn’t do, so he made himself known and the guy ran off. Knowing full well who he was and not wanting to get an ass whooping with him. A few nights back a guy was hitting on one of Alex’s girls and when Alex and Luc finally showed up and saw what was happening he caught up to them and told him to raise his wand. Apparently this guy did not know any better and a fight pursued as the guy wasn’t going to give up, so Alex gave it to him and nearly killed the man in a duel. No one touched anyone that was of interest to any of Lucian’s friends.

Taking in this young catch he smiled his wicked smile. ”Well apparently he wasn’t that interested in you, I apologize. Let me buy you a drink. I’m Alex” He said in a slightly sincere tone. This was strange, this feeling he had, it wasn’t his normal, I'm better than you and you better give me what I want or I'll kill you attitude. What was this girl doing to him and why was she doing it? He wanted to figure it out.

Walking with her girls, Izabella strutted into one of the bars in Hogsmeade. It was well known that this was the hottest place to be. The brunette was the most popular in the group and was typically the one every guy hit on. Though she wasnt the type to hog them all. She would send some to her friends if they werent her type. It was a blessing and a curse to be 1/4 veela. The door to the bar opened and Izabella lead the way in. With a quick glance around, she felt multiple eyes drift to her.

A smirk on her face she looked around before heading off away from the other girls. She was headed toward the bar when she was suddenly stopped by a tall male with slight shaggy blonde hair. He spoke English and lucky Izzy knew how to speak it. She giggled and smiled as he spoke to her. It wasnt long before she realized he was definitely not her type. She was trying to think of a way to escape him. But just a moment letter the male scurried away. Izzy frowned in confusion wondering what had happened. She tried to follow him with her eyes but a voice interrupted her thoughts.

Turning she met the gaze of a male that looked about her age if not a bit older. Izzy felt her heart pound with surprise as he was quite the specimen. It took her all of two seconds to realize he was exactly her type. With a slight laugh she shrugged, "Itz alright. He wazn't my type anywayz. Izabella. I believe I will take that offered drink."she said with a smile. This was going to be fun. She knew her veela genes were having some effect on him but she was completely fine with that.

Once the beautiful girl spoke Alex was more intent than ever on getting to know her, but her voice, well it wasn't from around here. He smiled and snapped his fingers for the nearest waiter. It was one of the perks about being best mates with the owner. "Ah ... est-ce que je détecte que vous parlez français. Eh bien, bienvenue ma chérie. Qu'allez-vous avoir? Tout ce que tu veux, c'est sur moi toute la nuit." ("Ah... do i detect you speak french. Well welcome my darling. What will you be having? Anything you want it's on me all night.") Alex said in a flawless french accent. It wasn't often that he actually got to use his foreign language skills. 'Izabella' He thought about everything he could possibly do to her.

Even if he had been slightly under her veela influences, he was infatuated with her and wasn't going to let her get away. Alex usually was happy with his catch of the night, string them along, fuck them and kick them to the curb the next day. However, Izabella was quite different from his normal catch. She didn't know who he was, and he was okay with that, because he could be anyone to her and she wouldn't ever know the difference, or that's what Alexander Johnson thought at least. Little did he know that she was attending Hogwarts for the Tri-Wizard Tournament and things were about to get really sticky.

"It happens a lot, My family is a big deal around these parts." Alex said lighting a cigarette. "And so is my best mate, his family owns this place." Alex continued and then took a long drag. This wasn't his usual type of drug, but his mate Lucian had used the last joint earlier tonight and so he stole one of his sisters cigarettes. These muggle drugs weren't that bad, usually Alex didn't have anything to do with muggle things, but he had been bored lately and decided to take a chance to see what they could do to him. It wasn't like he could die from them, the magical folk had far more advanced medical knowledge than that of the muggles and he knew that he could have this easily dealt with. "On y va?" ("Shall we?") he asked her and held out his hand intending on taking her over to the bar. He wasn't sure if it was the best idea to escort her over to his table where his twin sister and Lucian resided.
