It was Kara Johnson’s first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In her humble opinion it had become a joke of a school and she wished a curse would befall the school and kick out anyone who wasn’t a pureblood. Okay, so nothing about her opinion was humble, and a humble person she was not. Her things were in her trunk and her and her twin brother Alex, whose full name was Alexander, was right by her side. They had been escorted to platform 9 ¾ by their Uncle, whom they lived with and who had raised the both of them.

The Johnson family had passed by Mr. Harry Potter and Kara assumed his son who was also going to be attending his first year at Hogwarts as well. She had overheard him talking about Slytherin house and how he was afraid the battered old sorting hat was going to place him in Slytherin. Kara stood there for a moment watching as Mr. Potter had reassured his son it was okay. She couldn’t help herself and spoke up. “You know, that house, it’s not all bad” It was probably the kindest thing she had ever said in her life. Harry looked up at the girl and said ”umm… thanks” It was literally a moment later when Kara’s uncle found her next to the Potters and yanked her arm, pulling her away from the half-blood trash. ”You insult girl, I don’t want to see you talking to them again.” Kara’s uncle spoke in a very deep gravelly tone, just before stopping and bending down to her ear. ”When you come home for holiday, we will properly deal with your misbehavior.” The only person who frightened her was her Uncle, he was a former Death Eater in the last wizarding war and practised the Dark Arts.

Kara had found her childhood friend Bianca Matthews and her twin, so the three of them shared a seat on the train with some of the other children whose families were also supporters of the famous dark wizard voldemort. The sorting ceremony had commenced; Kara, Bianca, Alex and surprisingly Albus Potter had been sorted into Slytherin house. That was when she laid eyes on the handsomest boy that had also been sorted into her house. Lucian Avery. She had heard about his family through her own and Kara was going to get her tallions into him. Kara had walked over to him having Bianca and Alex flank her. “Lucian Avery, I’m Kara. This is Alex and Bianca, Shall we?” she spoke up and he looked at her with an interesting hunger. ”Well, let’s leave the two of you alone, to get better acquainted, I’ve got to scout out the school to see what kind of trouble I can cause. Bianca said abruptly and pulled Alex along with her.

It took a moment before Lucian spoke, he was quite enamored with this girl, who had beautiful blonde hair and a wild, yet proper look about her. ”Lets.” He held out his arm and Kara took it. The year had passed in a whirl and interestingly Kara and Lucian became quite close friends. It seemed that they were even closer than she had ever been with her best mate Bianca. Which was odd, because the two had been nearly inseparable since they were toddlers. Alex and Lucian had become pretty good friends also. It seemed like Bianca had become a loner and didn’t socialize much with Kara after their first year at school.

The second year at Hogwarts was much better than the first, as the sorting ceremony came around again and fresh blood was coming to the school, Kara was going to make it her mission to cause havoc and terror with these youngsters, just as she had established herself last year in school. However, the most interesting thing happened, the name Potter came up and her ears perked up when the hat spouted ”Slytherin! It was a girl. Her name was Lily, well at least her brother would have someone to talk to, as he wasn’t really in the house much. Albus tended to spend a lot of his time with his brother James, who was a Gryffindor. Although Albus did cause quite a bit of chaos last year, it was the only reason why Kara occasionally chatted with him.

Lucian got up from the table and went over to this blond haired first year. Kara followed very interested. ”Malfoy, man it’s great to see you.” Lucian gave him a half cocked smile and shook his hand and went in for a quick shoulder to shoulder bump. Lucian had noticed that Kara had followed him and so introductions were made. ”Hello.” Scorpius said as he held out his hand. Kara smiled and shook it. ”Kara Johnson, it’s a pleasure Scorpius.” When she shook his hand she felt something very different about him, something that shouldn’t have landed him in Slytherin. However, she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. It was only a moment when they were rudely interrupted by a small brunette girl. Lily Potter had made her way over to them,

Kara described it as a parasite trying to attach itself to the closest thing it could find. Unfortunately, that was the three of them. ”What do you want Potter?" Kara said with disgust. Lucian looked away from Scorpius and his eyes landed on Lily. She was pretty, he would give her that, but the only reason she landed in this house was because she was trying to rebel against her parents, he sensed. ’Now, now, Kara, let’s not be hasty.” Lucian said in a calm yet I’m better than everyone tone. Scorpius’ attention was fully directed at this beautiful young girl who happened to be in the same house as him, and he could sense that she wasn’t a bad person, just a bit of a loose cannon. It was sad because it would seem that they both have families that they wanted to get away from. ”Lily was it? I’m Scorpius, pleased to meet you.” he said in a friendly tone.

Lily, a naive girl, who’s only reason for being in Slytherin was to try and get attention from her parents. Lily didn’t really have any idea what she was doing here, except for the fact that she was drawn to these specific people. Probably because she could smell drama before it happened. ”and who are you to talk to me that way?” Lily said trying to be strong. She could sense that this girl wasn’t someone you wanted to trifle with, but she was going to anyways. Lucian knew how temperamental Kara was, and he loved that about her. It was something that rivaled his own and he was drawn to it. Lucian took Kara’s hand in his and squeezed it rather tightly. Kara looked up at him, trying to jerk it away, but was unsuccessful and when he squeezed her hand harder the second time she had got the message. ”Kara, but I assume you already knew that.” She said snidely.

A moment had elapsed when Alex Johnson had come to join them. He felt his blood starting to boil for no reason and looked up from his plate to see his sister about to jump a first year. He placed his hand on Lucian’s shoulder and motioned to let go of Kara. Alex knew better than anyone how to deal with his sister. ”Let’s go K” Alex said in a low voice and tugged on her arm to inform her he meant now. Lily watched as everything unfolded in front of her and she knew that she was going to be very happy here. Wherever she went chaos and drama usually followed. ”Don’t leave on my account, Johnson. I have a feeling we are going to be great friends.” Lily smiled widely and thought she had won. This little girl had no idea what she had started and just as Kara was gearing up to fight back, Albus came along and saved Lily from certain death. ”Lily! I’m so happy you’re finally here. Come Join me!” Albus exclaimed and then nodded to the others. ”Kara, Alex, Luc” and then guided his younger sister away from the other Slytherin’s.

At the far end of the Slytherin table Albus asked his sister to sit down. Honestly Albus was afraid that Lily was going to act worse here than she did at home. ”Listen to me well Lily Luna Potter. Those people are not ones that you want to take on in your drama filled world.” Albus paused for a moment before continuing. ”Yes, they all have money and you could befriend them because of it, but they weren’t raised like us. They mean business and they will hurt you to the point of death, or kill you if you push them too far.” Albus wasn’t finished but Lily interrupted. She was curious what he meant by they weren’t raised like us. If they had money then of course they were raised the same way. Sometimes Lily didn’t use the full extent of her brain when thinking. Although their father didn’t really go into detail as to how dark a wizard can become or how the followers of lord voldemort secretly trained their children to become weapons for the next war. ”I just don’t understand Albus. I wasn’t trying to cause trouble, I was just introducing myself. Trying to make friends.” Lily said in her sweet innocent voice, but Albus wasn’t having any of it. ”Remember what dad told you, any drama you cause and he won’t let you come back.” Albus said ”he’ll probably send you somewhere else.” he was finished, he didn’t know what else to say to make her stop and think before opening her mouth.

Lily ended up causing a lot of trouble in her first year and didn’t learn her lesson until one night when she was snuck up on by Lucian Avery and he had made sure she stopped causing so much drama. The next year Lily seemed to have been taken down a notch or two and spent a lot more time with her brothers and less time trying to fit in with the popular crowd. It wasn’t until Kara Johnson herself came up to Lily and started speaking. ”You look terrible. Why are you so afraid of me Potter?” Kara almost laughed, she stifled it by slightly smirking. Lily tried to come up with something to say, but nothing was coming to mind. She was so terrified she started to tremble. ”You’re pathetic.” Kara said as she sat down next to her. Why was Kara trying to talk to her now? Lily was starting to become a little bit like herself with every given moment as curiosity took ahold of her. ”What do you want from me?” Lily spat out all broken. Kara rolled her eyes and got up. ”Meet me outside the Slytherin common room tonight. No questions and wear something dark.” and with that said Kara left.

Scorpius and Kara had gotten to know each other through Luc. He had a very interesting past and he was trying to run from it. She found that interesting and wondered how long it would last. ”So what house would you have liked to have been in, if they didn’t put you in Slytherin because of your last name?” Kara asked Scorpius as they sat in the empty common room just chatting away. Kara was actually Lucian and Alex’s cover, they were out having drinks and terrorising other students in Hogsmeade Village, the only all wizarding village in Britain. Scorpius thought about it and he had no idea. ”No idea.” he told her. It apparently didn’t matter to him much what house he was in.

When the lovely Lily Potter walked into the common room her eyes were all red and puffy, signs that she had been crying. What Kara was thinking, she had no idea why she was even bothering to take this young girl under her wing. The girl had potential and that's all she could see for now. Kara couldn’t deal with weakness and this girl apparently had a lot. ”Lily, what is your problem?” Kara uttered unapologetically. Lily looked up at her and noticed that she had used her first name and not her last. That was unusual for Kara, She thought and then sat next to Scorpius and curled up to him. ”I can’t say. Much worse things will happen if I say anything about it.” Lily replied and Scorpius comforted her. Neither Kara or Scorpius knew what Lily was talking about, but Kara knew that she would get it out of her, she always got what she wanted out of people, compliant or not. ”Spill. Nothing will be worse than me torturing you to get you to talk.” Kara said quickly and in a serious tone. It was at that moment that Lily finally realized what Albus had met last year when he said they weren’t raised the same way. ”how could I have been that stupid…” Lily mumbled to herself and she didn’t want to go through any type of torture, but she didn’t want to cause drama in either Kara’s or Lucian’s lives. She was afraid of what would come if she had spoken up.

Kara’s patience was being trifled and Scorpius could sense it and tried to calm her down. ”Kara, let Lily tell you in her own time, it obviously is something she is very uneasy about.” Scorpius and Lucian had been great friends, but soon things would change and it was unknown if it was for the better or worse. Lily and Scorpius had been spending a lot of time together this year and had gotten quite close, rumors would soon spread that things were heating up between the two of them. Kara took in a deep breath and exhaled loudly. She didn’t like being told what to do and everyone knew it.

Patience wasn’t Kara’s virtue and she was easily crossed. ”Spit it out Potter or hold your tongue.” Kara said plainly with the start of irritability showing in her voice. Scorpius scowled at Kara and she glared back. There was something in her eyes that seemed to always frighten people. He didn’t know what it was, but something in her had changed since he met her last year. Something was a lot darker inside her and he decided it was best not to press her any further, for his safety and everyone else’s. Lily took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before beginning. ” At the end of last year, I had gotten a visit from your, well… your boyfriend. He…” Lily stopped and looked around to see if Lucian was near. All the details that Lily had tried to forget had come flooding back to her and she shuttered.

Lucian had cornered Lily in the courtyard one night toward the end of the school year and told him to follow her to this secret spot that her and Scorpius could use. He apparently knew something was going on between the two of them. So Lily blindly followed him, only to be trapped and lost in the castle. Lucian had used the imperius curse on Lily and made her do things that she wouldn’t normally do, until he was tired of it and released her and then he pinned her down on the floor and he ripped her clothes off. Warning her not to cause drama, otherwise, he would take her and she would be defiled.

Kara was becoming more hostile by the moment while she waited for Lily to continue and when she watched Lily look around she got up from the couch and had a very cool and dark aura around her ”No need to explain.” Kara remarked ”Also you no longer need to meet with me later, we are through.” and she left the common room. Lily was quite confused and she was gently shoved aside as Scorpius abruptly ran after Kara. As soon as he had caught up with her, he reached out his arm to catch hers. ”Not this way Kara. I know you think you know Luc, but I’ve known him my entire life.” he explained and gave her a look of caution. Scorpius remembered Lucian had always been a playboy and the only person to have ever strapped him down was standing right in front of him. ”He wouldn’t do such a thing, definitely not to you. I wouldn’t go jumping to conclusions until you ask him about it.” Scorpius was only trying to help out his friend and he hoped that Kara would listen to reason. Kara knew he was right and she relaxed slightly.

When Lucian and Alex returned, Kara was right there waiting for them. The two boys were laughing off something they had done to one of the other students and when they noticed Kara they came to a halt. ”Hey love.” Lucian smirked and grabbed her, pulling her close to him and then kissing her vigorously. Kara’s temper only rivaled that of Lucian’s. Not even her twin's temper was as fierce as hers. Kara wrapped her arms around Lucian’s body and clung to him, rubbing up against him. She knew that this was going to be good. ”Hi. So what did you do to Lily Potter? Cause she seems a bit off than her usual chaotic self this year.” Kara knew that she couldn’t beat around the bush. Lucian knew something was up when Kara started playing games with him and usually it was fun, but not right now. He threw her arms off of him, mostly because if he didn’t they would probably end up fucking each other right there. Moving back away from her Lucian recalled doing something to the second year, but couldn’t exactly remember what. He did so many things, to so many people it was hard to keep track.

Alex just watched the two as he was curious how this was going to affect their relationship. If it came to war between the two of them, he would choose blood over his friend. However, that may not be the best choice. He should stay out of it completely, but he knew he couldn’t abandon his sister. So he watched and waited for the drama to unfold. Kara was taken aback when Lucian threw her arms off him. Now she was really getting riled up. ”Well? Because if you fucked her, we’re through and I will make it my personal…” Kara was rudely interrupted by Luc when he put his hand over her mouth and silenced her. He knew that was a risky move, but he needed her to shut it. ”Darling, no! I would never!” Lucian paused thinking about what to say next and figured he should just come clean. ”I merely made a point and nearly screwed her. You know who I am, but I have been faithful to you since the beginning of our relationship.” Lucian explained, actually happy to have the air cleared and he would deal with that young Potter later.

Kara knew who he was and how many he had nearly slept with. As long as it wasn’t a half-breed she was fine. Kara brought herself closer to Lucian again. ”If you’re sure... I guess I can’t be too upset for that. What did you do? Rip her clothes to shreds and leave her?” Kara smiled knowing it’s probably something he would do so someone that pissed him off. It literally is very humiliating, not that she would know from personal experience, but she has seen a few girls running around crying and holding their clothes to themselves for dear life. ”How’d you guess?” Lucian said as he took her and kissed her very passionately. It was a visual cue for Alex to go and he was happy to. Kara and Lucian found a shadowed nook and went at it. It was surprising that they hadn’t gotten caught yet.

Eventually Lucian came back and raped Lily. Kara had gotten wind of what happened and she turned the other cheek, knowing that Lucian loved her and was just getting his revenge. She stuck to Scorpius after that and his and Lucian’s relationship began to fade and Lucian and Kara grew in power. Unfortunately during that same time frame, Kara and Scorpius had gotten so drunk just talking in a pub in London, that they had slept together and never said a word to anyone else about it. Kara and Scorpius mutually parted ways and Kara went back to Lucian. The only person who knew that she had killed her uncle was Lucian, and in turn Kara was the only person who knew that Lucian had killed his father. She and Lucian knew something was going to happen soon, and it was their duty to recruit and poison the youth so to speak for when the war came. It had been over twenty years since the last one and there was always that one person who thinks they can outweigh the good in the world. Unfortunately the wrong side is where Kara and Lucian sat. By their seventh year Kara and Lucian had enough followers to have a small army and things at Hogwarts would change for the worse once more.

The years passed and the more Lucian became more forceful with Kara, and even though she fought tooth and nail with him, she had made her choice and just lived with it. Alex and his sister became estranged by their seventh year at Hogwarts and the Tri-wizard tournament took place. It was there that he met Izabella Jayden Jodine. Even though Alex’s past had caught up with him and he was fighting it constantly, he was captivated by this beautiful young woman. He could not stop thinking about her and tried to spend every minute he could with her. Alex had a choice to make, he could join his family or give them up and spend the rest of his days with this gorgeous young woman that stole his heart. What started out as these Slytherin house mates as friends, caused them to go in different directions and split apart. Kara and Lucian went dark, Lily and Scorpius neutral, and Alexander Johnson good and everyday he fights this feeling of how he was raised and who he wanted to be with Izzy.

The war had finally come, ten years after the gang had left Hogwarts. Many wizards were unprepared for what was coming, most had forgotten about the last war and went back to their daily lives as if the last war hadn’t happened. Kara Avery as she was now called, was admitted to take part in the secretive meetings of the original 14. The other half of the original 28 families that were completely pureblood and have always favored the dark arts within their families. She sat next to her husband Lucian and listened as things were being discussed on how to eliminate blood impurity from the wizarding world and how to create a permanent barrier between wizards and muggles. Kara was one of the leaders in strategic takedowns, and her team had killed several mudblood families in the last few months.

Lucian on the other hand wasn’t a front line soldier. He was at the top, helping to devise the overall plan to clear out all the trash. ”Our next attack should be near Greenwich. We’ve nearly taken all of London and its surrounding areas…” one of the other members from the table spoke, but was interrupted by Kara. “No, it isn’t wise, the rebels will expect us to attack near the water and they’ll be ready for us.” she said in rebuttal. ”So Kara what should we do to surprise the scum.” Lucian’s Uncle Jack asked. He was the second in command of everything to the heir of the one and only Gellert Grindelwald. ”Well?” Eiger Grindelwald spoke as he waltzed into the room. ”I think we should put three teams at each of these locations, Gidea Park at Grange Hill, Upminster and one just outside of Greenwich. As sleepers, they will be back up.” Kara said as she pointed to them on the map casting a little army of troops at each one. ”Back up to what my dear?” Jack asked curiously, as her idea’s always peaked his interest, and it was not because she had married into the family. ”We need to have a stealth operation, taking out as many muggles and mudbloods as we can before we go into a full fledged attack. They will be confused and it will change things up a bit so they won’t see us coming. It would be best if we tried to blend in this time and gave a surprise attack” Kara finished and sat back down. She was the only female in the room and she earned her spot rightfully so. ”Very well Kara, We will take your thoughts into consideration. Avery, I want a word. The rest of you are dismissed.” Eiger waved his hand and everyone disapparition and black smoke filled the room for a moment.

Alex had this strange feeling that something bad was going to happen. Ever since him and his sister had gone in opposite directions their ability to sense each other’s pain and what the other one was thinking. He had come a long way and hardly had to put any energy into fighting to keep the part of how he was raised at bay. Izabella, or Izzy for short, was the best anchor he could have ever had. He didn’t know what he would do if he lost her, but he knew right at this moment they were struggling to find a way to save their friends and loved ones from the rise of the dark wizarding families that had been forming an attack for years, but no one knew who the leader was. He would assume they all would find out soon. Alex was looking for Izzy, because she wasn’t where she usually was and he was starting to get really worried.

The war had done a number on everyone involved. Some more than others and for some time now Izabella has felt like something was on the rise. She couldn't put her finger on it but she felt it in the air. The brunette was in her gardens meditating and trying to get a feel for what was going on. She had never been a seer but as she grew old she felt more in tune with what was going on. Mostly from being married to Alex. She had learned the tells that meant something was wrong and so she had tried to hone that skill into a full fledged ability and so far it seemed to be progressing perfectly.

Just as Alex went off to look for her Izabella opened her eyes and relaxed from her meditative state. She picked up the basket of flowers sitting next to her and headed in the direction she felt her love. When she saw him she smiled softly despite the feeling he was giving off. "Alex, my love. You seemed distressed. What's wrong?"she asked as she reached him and rested her hand on his cheek concerned for him. She wasn't sure what was wrong but she could feel that it was troubling him greatly and he was worried for some reason.

After the meeting Lucian had met up with his wife. He was so happy to see her, and he was glad that they complimented each other so well. ”Darling, don’t forget we have some lessons to teach our adoring daughter.” Lucian said coolly, almost giving into a wide grin. Back when they were in school, Kara and Lucian had two daughters named Elizabeth and Laina. It wasn’t until Kara and Luc had gotten back together permanently that he had let her in on that secret. She loathed him for years for keeping that from her, but the girls had still been young and had been watched over by the Black family. They had started the girls’ training and after Kara and Lucian had graduated Liza met her mother for the first time since giving birth to her. Laina was born two years after Elizabeth, when Lucian had taken every bit of dignity away from Lily. This had been right after Kara and Lucian had made up and Kara had made her choice to stay with him. Honestly, Kara had ended up exactly how she was raised, after trying to fight it for so long, she couldn’t take it anymore and just let it consume her.

It seems that once you send out those green sparks from your wand and make your first kill, your path is set for you and you can’t turn back, no matter how hard you try to resist it. Kara grinned as this was sadly, probably, the second most enjoyable thing she did. ”Oh Luc, you’re right.” she exclaimed and kissed him before going off to try and find Liza to torture her for breaking the rules. Their daughter Elizabeth, even though she had been trained with dark tendencies from birth, hated her mother and father’s way of training her. She would rather inflict the pain on people instead of having to be the target. Other times her subconscious would fight her and try to fight them back because she didn’t think what they were doing was right, but that only got her into more trouble and her parents were masters at torturing people and she had been on that side a few times and did not like what happens when she was.

After punishing her daughter for five hours, Kara locked her daughter in a sealed room without food or water and told her that if she wanted out, she was going to have to figure it out. This was like an escape room style challenge that was meant to test her daughters abilities and push her to the limit. Kara came upon her husband talking to someone she didn’t recognise. ”Lucian, who is this?” Kara asked curiously and walked up and wrapped her hands around his waist. She only did this when she wanted to fuck him, otherwise she just stood by his side like a good wife. Although people didn’t test her any longer, Lucian occasionally found a way to torture her and keep her sharp and she would do the same to him most of the time, since he couldn’t keep her out of his mind and she predicted almost all of his moves.

”No one, he was just leaving.” Lucian motioned to the man to use the door before disapparating, this was one business venture that he did not want his wife involved in. ”Shall we? I assume Liza’s going to be occupied for the next several hours.” he said turning around in her arms and picking her up. He always enjoyed this time with her and this time he was going to try something new and try and surprise her. About an hour later Liza had escaped her mother’s trap. She had had enough from her parents and was ready to let them know just how much. Unfortunately for her, her mother knew she was coming and as the door opened Kara halted her. ”Step one more foot inside and Laina will kill you.” she spoke laying in bed with her husband. ”Laina can’t match me. Mother you’re a fool.” Elizabeth exclaimed not paying attention to her surroundings, enraged by hate to focus on anything else. but Laina had received much greater training than her sister had ever dreamed of, because she just did what she was told and took all the pain and lessons to heart without complaints.

Laina had quietly come up behind her sister and raised her wand ready to pin her against the wall. Kara had seen her younger daughter come up behind her elder one. ”son of a…” Liza muttered, she turned around to see her younger sister behind her ready to fight. ”If you fully intended on killing us Elizabeth, you should have checked all your surroundings first.” Kara said as her tone grew colder as she spoke. Her and Lucian had fully clothed themselves with their wands and were extremely disappointed in their elder daughters' judgments. Laina had put her sister against the wall before Liza could even cast a counterspell. ”Sadly, this is the end for you my darling. Trying to murder your parents is a permenent and punishable offence.” Kara’s words were ice cold and smooth. There wasn’t a single waver in her voice and it scared her children. They hadn’t ever seen how cruel she or Luc could actually be.

Lucian knew his wife was lethal and he knew his oldest daughter was fighting between good and evil, but it didn’t occur to him that his wife may try and kill their own. It was in that moment he had remembered Kara had made her first kill when she was fourteen and he when he was fifteen and they had witnessed each other killing their own flesh and blood. ”Well, any last words Liza?” Lucian said in a tone much like Kara’s. ”Yoou-you can’t be serious… killing your own daughter. That’s beneath both of you isn’t it?” Liza was so frightened her face grew pale and she felt so clammy. She realized at that moment that she had made a mistake and wasn't going to be able to get out of it. Her life was over and even if she could stop her sister, her parents would get to her. ”No." Lucian and Kara said simultaneously and watched as their younger daughter embraced her destiny following in their footsteps. She had released her sister from the bind that held her and she spoke the words of the killing curse. As green sparks emerged from her wand and hit her older sister, Laina watched as Liza dropped to the ground. Laina only hoped that this would make her parents proud. 

It was time, Kara could feel it. ”So did he approve it? Is everything in place for the attack? Tonight is the night my love. Tonight London falls.” Kara said in her cool and crisp voice towards Lucian, as if the death of her daughter hadn’t even happened. ”Yes. I will go and inform them that you sense it’s time.” With that being said Lucian left and Kara was alone with her daughters. ”Now Laina, clean up your mess.
