The Third Task {All Three Champs/ALL

It was the day of the final task. The students were told that if they were to watch they would have to sit in the stands of the Quidditch Pitch. The pitch had been made into a huge labyrinth with the Triwizard Cup in the middle. The first to reach it would win the tournement and the riches it entails. But of course it wasn't going to be a cake walk for the champions. The maze was filled with many dangerous creatures, jinxes and the hedges itself would be enchanted to change places. But the hedges were easily able to be blasted away except the inner circle. that was guarded by the sphinx and the champs would have to answer her riddle to get to the cup.

The leader board had Emi being in the lead in points with Kyle and Izzy tied for second. There was an area set away for the friends and family of the Champs to wait for their Champions to come back.

Being in the lead meant that Emiline Gallagher had to go first into the labyrinth. Though she wasn't scared nor nervous, she also wasn't truly happy about it either. To be honest, Emi had partied a bit too hard the night before and needed to get some well deserved rest. The headache had dulled to a soft pang of pain every once in a while but not dulled enough for her to feel completely up to par. Taking a deep breath, Emi jumped up and down a bit just to get her blood pumping so she could keep on her toes instead of wanting to crawl up into a little corner and fall asleep. "Damn it, why did I have to get drunk last night." Emi said to herself in German so the people that she didn't want to understand what she said wouldn't.

Hearing a horn go off Emi knew that it was her time to enter the labyrinth. "Hope I don't get killed in there. Get through this then I can go back to sleep." She said to herself knowing that that was the only motivation that she could have right at the moment. The faster she got this over with the faster she could go back to sleep. Stepping into the labyrinth and going further into it, the music stopped playing in the background and the sun light turned gray into a vast darkness. Interesting how they could make these things so creepy. With a yawn Emi kept going around corners hoping that she was going the correct way. That was until her foot was caught by something on the ground and she fell. While trying to catch herself she extended her arms out and broke one of them. The pain was searing and Emi let out a cry of pure agony. Why did this always have to happen? Something always bad had to happen to Emiline.

Curse words could be heard screaming out of Emiline's mouth, but she finally got over it and tried to make it so it wouldn't hurt any longer but that was a flop. Oh well, had to keep going. Trying to get up, Emi was caught again and this time it dragged her. Scrambling for her wand, Emi was getting dragged into the bushes fast and she had to do something about it. "Incindio!" She cast the spell and it hit the vine shooting it up into flames. Quickly she got up with the help of one of her arms and her gritted teeth trying to bare the pain of her broken arm. Keep going Emi keep going.

Standing there Izabella closed her eyes and began regretting the decision of being here. Looking around she twirled her wand as she waited. Looking up she spotted her former friends who were there to support Emi. Blinking she looked up toward her house and sighed as she listened to what was going on. Standing there she watched Emi go in and looked down. she knew there were scary things in the maze. Swallowing hard she looked over at Kyle and turned looking at her house.

She had to let her daughter Madee stay until it was time for them to go home. No one knew what had happened with her family except Madee. Not even her school mates knew. Taking a deep breath she turned back toward the maze and blinked as it opened for her and Kyle. Glancing over she saw him and looked down before stepping forward into the maze. Turning back she sighed and turned into the maze as it closed. Hearing the cheers die because the maze closed up she began walking and waiting for them to strike.

Looking down she felt depressed then swallowed hard and straightened up as she looked around. Gasping she felt something pull her to the ground. Turning over she looked at the vine and screamed a spell to get it to let her go. Crawling away she turned and ran around the walls trying to escape but all the way being attacked. Falling to the ground she turned over blocking her face but a vines whipped up and scratched her face and her arms. When they healed they’d surely scar up. Screaming lightly she scrambled to find her wand. ”Incendio!”she screamed and the vine caught fire and rushed away from her.

Getting up she turned a corner and reminded herself that when this was over, win or lose she’d lock herself up with her girls and just spend time with them. What Izabella didn’t know is that during one of the attacks by the vines it had grind into her ankle and cut the skin and she was bleeding and one of her knees was badly cut. Running as fast as she could she swallowed trying to escape and get to the end so she could say she wasn’t a failure and that maybe she could be known for more then having babies and being a slut.
