Lately something had been terribly wrong with Selena. There wasn't a rhyme or reason for her being the way she was, but it was starting to take a toll on her. Out by the lake she sat, indian style, and her face in her hands. Her tears rolled off her fingers and hit the lake water below with little pools of waves forming and then extending out to cause a ripple effect. Lately Selena had been very depressed and she didn't understand why. There was no reason to be depressive. Selena's life was good. The love of her life was there to stay, school was going just fine, and her family was just starting to get back together. Why did this have to happen now!

Jay had been wandering about without the guys... He needed a good break from them. He had made his way towards the lake. He had been in his special form. Up ahead, he had noticed Selena sitting. He scampered up to a point before he transformed into his normal self, plus the tail... as usual because he loved wandering with the tail on... so what if it was not the best thing to do. He sat next to Selena and pulled her into a hug. "what's wrong?" he ahd asked quite curiously. He wanted to know if there was anything that he could do to cheer her up... or what if... god forbid he was the one causing her sadness.

Those warm arms wrapped around her and she knew that it could only mean it was Jamie. Looking at him with that tear stained face of hers and puffy eyes, she almost threw herself into his chest, weeping and her body heaving with each deep breath. What really made her even more sorrowful was that fact that there was no reason that she was upset. It all was from an unknown source. Was someone trying to get into her mind and make things horrible for her? Why would anyone want to do that. Shaking her head she couldn't get the composure to answer his question just yet. "I don't know." She chocked out between sobs. It was the god's honest answer.

Jay held her close because he could tell she was upset for some reason. "i wish i could kiss away all the tears and try to make you smile again" he said softly. He always wanted to make her smile. It broke his heart to see her upset. "it's ok... if you need to, you can cry on my shoulder all you want. because that is what i am here for. " He wanted to be the one who could be there to cheer her up when she was down. and with that thought, he tried to tickle her with his tail, like he always did. just to see if it would get a laugh or a smile to be cracked. if not, he would try other methods.
