Benji had remained in the Venue after the latest concert. He was the last band member left. The others had gone off after the stuff were put away. Benji was just enjoying a chocolate sundae to celebrate a good concert. He was sitting on the stage with his legs just hanging off the edge,swinging. his drumsticks were crossed next to him. Eating the ice cream was calming him down after an adrenaline pumped show... they had debuted a new song that night called Aim High. In His opinion, it went well.

Cass had worked the show last night as she usually did, though she was tired to be fair and honest. She knew that it was bound to happen at some point but she really could not afford to loose her gusto yet. Still she felt well on a daily basis. She was glad that the morning sickness was done at least, but she didn't relish the way her abdomen protruded now. Five months after all, more than half way through this. She went into the stage room and saw Benji there. She was finally done cleaning. "Benji, I'm tired, can we go home?" She walked over to him, half smiling and not surprised over the ice cream.

Benji looked up from his ice cream to look at Cass with a gentle smile. "sure we can go home... as soon as i finish this up." He scrunched up his nose playfully. He took another spoonful before offering her some. "want some ice cream?" He tilted his head to the side barely. "so... how was the show in your opinion?"

"Don't tempt me with that, I'm supposed to be eating healthily." She sighed hand half smiled. She was just plain tired to be honest. She leaned against the stage so she didn't have to stand on her aching feet. She swore that they were starting to swell. "I thought it was good. Of course I was working so I can't enjoy the shows like I used to. Still that might be healthier, do you remember how wasted I used to get?"

Benji laughed and took another bite of his ice cream. Then he said "You sure you don't want any? alittle ice cream is good for you now and again... and besides... this is the healthy kind...." He winked playfully. He nodded and said "it was a shame you couldn't enjoy it more... but yeah i suppose it is healthier. Of course i remember... remember i used to get so drunk with you...." he took another bite of the ice cream again.

Cass half laughed at what he said to her. “There is not healthy kind of ice cream, so stop tempting like that, it isn’t fair.” She did want some but she was not going to eat it. Then again she didn’t believe Benji about that, anyone who loved chocolate that much didn’t eat the healthy stuff. Cass nodded as she spoke, and then spoke pretty candidly herself. “Yep, we’d get wasted and we both knew what came after that.” She gave him a meaningful look and then put her hands on her abdomen. “Funny that we weren’t wasted the night this happened.”

Benji raised an eyebrow and said "of course there are Healthy ice cream... or should i say supposedly... Muggle shops have it... Low fat or something like that. " he laughed lightly. "I have tried to be alittle bit healthier if you haven't noticed hun" He sighed and just went back to eating it. He nodded as he thought about those times when they got drunk. But honestly he thought the best times with her was when they were sober... mostly because those he could remember a bit more clearly than the drunken nights. He gave her a hug the best he could. "yeah it was quite surprising. "

“I don’t believe it. I have a lot of damage to make up for so I’m not eating any ice cream and that is that.” She didn’t know how long she would actually stick to that so she said it now to as least feel like she was making a bit of a stand about it. “I have noticed, cutting down on that drinking.” She reached over and rubbed his back a little, able to reach from where she was laying down. She hadn’t drank at all, and honestly she didn’t have any desire to. Of course she couldn’t now, but even after she doubted she would. “I’m still kind of surprised that….” She trailed off for a moment. “That we’re keeping it.”

Benji just smirked and said "If you are sure..." in a mock defeated tone. but he did say, "if you do have some... the ice cream would get done faster... and we could get home sooner." He took another bite slowly, almost like he was teasing her. when she had rubbed his back alittle, he just said, "mmmm" He loved that feeling. He looked over at her when she spoke. "i feel the same... part of me is surprised that we are keeping it... but mostly i am happy about it." He took another bite of the ice cream after he spoke as he thought about it.

Cass rubbed her fingers against his spine a little bit, not enough to hurt him through. She sighed a little bit where she was on the stage when he said if they ate more it would mean they could go home faster. She didn’t say anything, just pouted not that he could see that. She just wanted to curl up and sleep if she could. She was that tired after all, and she only felt like she was getting even more so as the days passed. “Benji, I really want to go home. I’m tired. I have been here all day. I just want to sleep.” She didn’t want to whine at him but she was exhausted. “I don’t know, I worry that I won’t make a good mother. I worry that it’ll be miserable growing up and resent me. I don’t want to bring it into this world to be miserable.”

Benji sighed and pouted playfully at Cass. He made his ice cream disappear towards their freezer. "oh alright, if you are ready we can go home." he said as he hopped off the stage. He looked over at her and said, "Cass... i know in my heart that you would make one remarkable mother.and i will try my best to help to make sure his life isn't going to be miserable. In fact i bet our child is going to be one of the most spoiled kids... because he would have two parents who loves him to pieces... plus all our friends who would want to dote upon him"

Cass looked up at him, feeling slightly guilty now and she shrugged a little. “I’m sorry, I am just so tired. I think I need more rest but frankly I don’t seem to have the time for it.” She worked a lot, and she liked her job but it left little time for all of the other things that she needed to do. She sat up as he spoke, knowing that he was right. Still she could not help but worry given how terribly her family had turned out. She wanted to much more for her child. She smiled at him. “I went to the Doctor’s yesterday.” He was so right, everyone would love him to pieces.
