The plane ride in had been smooth and all Emiline St... oh yes, she still wasn't used to her new last name yet. Emiline Gallagher, all she wanted to do was get some rest from the trip in. Though it hadn't been long, she was still a bit exhausted from the layover and from the hustle and bustle around the airports. Pulling up in the little mini cooper that her parents had sent for them to drive back home, she stopped on the side of the street right in front of the house and looked at Benny with a smile. "You ready?" She asked a bit nervous herself. It had only been recently that her and her parents were starting to get along. Since she was a little girl she hadn't been accepted by her parents because she had always been different. They wanted her to be exactly what was their idea of perfection. But they had grown used to Emi's weird ways and had come to accept her.

Opening up her door, she got out and went over to the front gate and took a deep breath waiting for Benny. "Now, my parents don't speak english so I will translate if you need help with it. They also are a bit... different, so please don't take offense to anything they say." She said trying to prepare him for her parents. Hopefully they weren't rude like they sometimes normally were. Taking another deep breath, she opened the gate and led the way up to the door. Knocking on the door, she straightened herself up a bit making it very obvious that she was tense. Almost immediately, her mother answered the door and had a huge smile on her face. "Emiline! Es ist toll, Sie sehen, meine Tochter! Ich habe dich so sehr vermisst! Herein, herein." Her mother said practically pulling her in. Emi looked back at Benny and laughed then stepped in the house. "Ich habe dich auch Mutter verpasst. Es hat eine sehr lange Zeit. Ich habe so viel zu erzählen aber zuerst das ist mein Mann, Benny Gallagher." Emiline said looking at Benny. Her mother stopped dead in her tracks and gasped. "Mann?" She said very confused as to why her daughter had gotten married. "Ya." Emi said smiling. Taking a deep breath, her mother put a smile on and tried to warm up to the idea. "Willkommen Benny Gallagher. Ich bin Erraten Sie muß ein guter Mann für meine Tochter zu heiraten, so jung." She said giving Benny a hug.

Benny had been somewhat excited to come... but he was nervous as hell. It was one thing being introduced as a friend or boyfriend... but a completely different thing to be introduced as the Fiancee or the Husband.He couldn't help but to be scared and worried that they wouldn't like him or he them. It was almost frightening enough for him to suggest that they go back. But then again, maybe things would work out well. "nervous as hell but yeah i am ready."

He had gotten out of the car and followed her quietly.He listened to her explaining that her parents don't speak english. "sounds challenging... but i have gotten better at it. not completely fluent or anything but i think i done well...but if i am slow to reply it is because i am trying to process it and remember things." He had been learning this language for almost six or seven years. since the day he met her he had tried to master it.

Benny smiled at her mother's reaction upon seeing Emi. But that didn't stop him from being nervous. He understood most, if not all that was spoken, and that was an accomplishment in itself. He thought wistfully, what a way to shock a mother to silence... tell them that you are married... But in reality he was glad that she had told her sooner rather than later. He however was quite surprised when her mother gave him a hug. He hugged her mother back and said, "it is quite an honor to meet Emi's mother. and i really do hope i am good for her because i love her most sincerely. " He really did think it was an honor to meet her parents.

Stepping back to take a look at him, he wasn't exactly what Emi's mother would expect her daughter to marry, but he seemed like a nice gentleman. "Oh? Sprichst du Deutsch? Ich bin sehr beeindruckt Mister Englishman. Die Arbeiten an Ihrem Akzent ein wenig, und Sie wird perfekt sein." She said laughing and then looking back at Emi. There was a blush on her face that wasn't there often unless Benny said something that she found heart warming. He always seemed to say the right things at the right time and they were always something that made her blush in that good way. Her mother looked back at Benny and smiled saying, "Wenn deine Worte der Liebe erfüllt sind, bin ich froh, meine Tochter hat ein Mann zu ihr aufrichtig Liebe gefunden." just before Emi's father walked in. This was the moment that Emi had been dreading. Looking over at her father she smiled slightly and nodded her head towards him.

"Emiline. Willkommen zu Hause unsere kleine Ausreißerin. Wer ist dieser Mann?" He said to her not even bothering to give her a hug. Instead he held onto his dear walking cane that he had to have to walk correctly and kept a cold glare on his face. It was like it was plastered there because Emi had never saw a smile come out of her father. Taking a deep breath and with a whole lot of attitude she replied, "Es ist so schön dich zu sehen, Vater. Da für diesen Mann, er ist mein Ehemann Benny Gallagher." Her father looked at Benny and then back at Emi and scoffed. If only Emi could have backtalked him without getting her face smacked off after this comment. "Meine Tochter wird nie heiraten jemanden wie ihn. Ein Engländer. Boy, hast du keine Ziele im Leben. Etwas, von einiger Bedeutung, statt demütig armen Menschen Arbeit ist?" Her father said looking at Benny for an answer. Emi's mom smacked him on the arm to get his attention and then said, "Gregory, mag das nicht zu unserem Schwiegersohn werden. Das ist einfach unhöflich." With that he only gave a sneer and left. Turning back to the two, Emi's mom smiled and told them to come on in and make themselves at home. Emi walked close to Benny taking his hand and leaned into his ear. "I'm sorry about my father. He is one that you won't want to be around for too long." She said really feeling horrible about what he said to Benny.

Benny smiled at Emi's mother and told her , "I could also speak french as well, due to a very good friend of mine.But i have actually tried to learn german for about... six and a half years... I wanted to learn so i could make Emi feel more accepted at Hogwarts... and i wanted to make her feel special " He nodded as if he would take her advice into account. It felt great to impress someone. "i would never want to break her heart because she is special to me."

He was scared as heck when her father came in. It was a sense of foreboding with her father. He heard what he had said, but didn't let it show that it hurt him that he would say that. Then he said in a voice that was the calmest that he could be, "well, sir. Perhaps my goals in life aren't viewed as important in your eyes but they are important to me. Which is to be well known for doing what i love to do... which is writing and preforming songs with the band i am in. Otherwise i would take over for my stepfather as owner of that large music venue in hogsmeade. " Perhaps he ought to have kept his mouth shut but he had to answer. he didn't want to make it seem like he couldn't give an answer.

Benny squeezed Emi's hand gently. "no need to apologize Emi,Dear. I could see what you mean, but i have been around scarier people than him."

Sighing, Emi's mother looked back at Benny and smiled having a bit of a 'i'm sorry' type of expression cross her face. Emi smiled back at her mother knowing that she felt horrible for how her father was treating Benny when he didn't even know him. "Ich gehe nach oben zu gehen und zeigen, Benny unser Zimmer, damit wir in. Wir werden bald wieder nach unten kann einzuleben." Emi said looking at Benny hoping that he knew what she said. Nodding, her mother gave her approval and Emi kept a hold of Benny's hand and led him upstairs to her old bedroom when she was younger. It was red and black, something that wouldn't be expected out of someone so young. "This is our room. I thought we could get a moment away before we have to face my father again." She said walking around her old room remembering memories that she had in this very room. "When I was a little girl I used to lock myself up in here when they wanted me to go to formal events. Used to disappear and my father would be furious. Especially when my grand entrance was sliding down the railing." She said laughing and going to sit on the bed. But instead of just sitting she laid back and let herself look up at her little square of a ceiling since it was a canopy bed. "Come lay down with me?" She asked him looking with an innocent smile.

Benny smiled gently at Emi's mother before being dragged away by Emi. He was glad for it, because he needed time before he would be able to be around Emi's father again. He frightened Benny in a way. He looked around after they came into her old bedroom. "Nice room." he had said. then he listened to her tell him about her past. He couldn't help but to chuckle as he imagined a young Emi doing that sort of stuff. He smiled and said, :of course"
