Jamie was relaxing on one of the sofas in Selena and His place. it was relaxing... almost too relaxing because soon enough he was dozing off in dream land. he had tossed and turn in his sleep. Eventually he tossed and turned enough, that he fell off the sofa. Jay got up and rubbed his head as he headed to the kitchen to figure out what he was going to have for a drink.

Finally. A moment to be at home spending time with Jamie and no one had to be around. Stepping out of the shower, the bathroom mirror was fogged and the rest of the room around her matched that. Reaching for the towel, Selena rubbed it on the mirror a bit before she put it around her body then used the other towel to dry her hair a bit so it wasn't sopping wet. Taking in a deep breath, she walked out of the bathroom and down to their room to put some clothes on. Nothing real fancy though. Actually she put her pajama's on. The normal attire of scrubs and a tank top, then walked out of the bedroom to the living room where she found Jamie in the kitchen.
Taking her damp hair and pulling it around so it was hanging over her shoulder, she went into the kitchen as well and looked in the fridge, trying to find a sweet snack to munch on. "Looking for the liquor?" She asked him just kidding around. The last few nights Jamie had tossed and turned in his sleep, resulting in Selena not getting much sleep either, but enough to function correctly. Looking up at him after finding a piece of chocolate, she leaned up against the counter and munched on it happily. "In the top cabinet corner love." She said pointing just above his head. Turning her back and tossing the paper that came around the chocolate in the trash she came up behind him wrapping her arms around his stomach and putting her chin on his shoulder though it was hard to do since she was shorter than he. "Why do you boys drink that stuff anyways. Isn't it nasty?" She asked seeing as she had never had a drink in her life.

Jay heard foot steps behind him. He chuckled at her question. "Oh hey hun... " He said with a grin. He was just happy to see her. "well i wasn't technically looking for the liquor exactly. I was just debating what to drink." he said with a laugh. He got one of the bottles and poured himself a small cup of it. He took a small sip of it and put the bottle back on the shelf.
He pondered the question a bit and responded with, "well for me it was because i could get away with it. and it helped my creative juices flow. as for the taste... it depends on what it is." He barely shrugged before saying, "you can say it is a bad habit. but at least i cut down. but i am no Benji... he cut it all out due to the thing with Cass."

Hmmmm, so it helped the creative juices. Man that sounded so appealing because lately, Selena had been stumped on the next new song that she was going to write. Maybe she would try this little method that Jamie had. No, she wouldn't do that. The idea of drinking was just nasty to her, at least for her own personal preference. She didn't mind that others did it, like Jamie. Just for her own preference she preferred not to drink. "Well. Good enough explanation for me." She said still holding onto him. Kissing his cheek, she continued to make her way around til she was in front of him and giving him sweet kisses on the lips.
Giving him another kiss, she lingered that, tasting the drink that he had just taken a sip of. It tasted actually... interesting. No, she wouldn't have any. It was against her vow that she made to herself that she wouldn't drink. "I love you." She said randomly to him letting one of her hands come to his cheek and push his hair behind his ear. "I'm glad we get this time together. Just the two of us. Though it could've started earlier then just now if you would have joined me in the shower." she said laughing a bit at her comment, but it was entirely true. Selena wouldn't have had any objection to him hopping in there with her.

Jay grinned when Selena said that she had found his explanation good. He kissed her back gently for ever kiss she gave him.He loved her kisses. they always quickened the pace of his heart and filled him up with butterflies. He would do most anything to make her happy. "I Love you too " He said sweetly. then he laughed gently and said, "would have joined you... but was trying to recoup some sleep. obviously didn't work out so well. Considering i rolled out of the couch and bumped my head" He frowned and sighed. He hated it when he had restless nights. He took another small sip of his drink.
