Izabella looked off the balcony wanting to cry. She turned and looked into the room that they had made for Madee when she was a baby. The nursery and then they had done it for the twins until they thought they lost them then they had prepared it for the new baby but when she had lost it she had been going in there to cry and be alone. She had when she thought she lost the twins. Sitting in the rocking chair she felt like she was going to cry herself to death lately. Looking at a teddy bear she walked over and picked it up holding it in her hand. She brushed the fur back and stood looking down at it. Shaking her head she had to be strong now. Sighing she stared at the clock. It was 3 hours til new years and she had asked Albus to come be with her. Madee was in bed.

Taking a deep breath she covered everything up with a sheet then closed the door and pulled down the blinds and walked to the door. Nodding to herself she shut the door and locks it. Walking into her room she placed the key in a jewelry box then turned and jumped then smiled. ”Albus, I didn’t see you. You are very sneaky. Thank you so much for coming with me.”she said moving and hugging his neck. ”I want your help with something. I was hoping you could help me.”she told him softly with a gentle and sweet smile. Something that hadn’t crossed her lips in a very long time.

Albus was in France for the Christmas holidays with Izzy. He was planning on staying at Hogwarts for Christmas, but then Izzy asked him to come back to France with her. He couldn’t say no to her. He didn’t know what would happen if they were apart for a few weeks for the holidays. Albus would miss Izzy a lot if he hadn’t gone with her. He had just finished taking a shower. He had helped Izzy put Madee to bed a little while before he went to shower. Izzy had tucked her in and Albus had read her a story before the little girl had fallen asleep. He wasn’t sure where Izzy had went off to, she had left after she tucked in her daughter and he had started reading to her.

After Madee was asleep, he turned off her light and went to shower. After he finished his shower, he got dressed before going to check on Madee. He put on a white undershirt and red flannel pajama pants with golden lions sewn on them, courtesy of his maternal grandmother. Albus opened the door to Madee’s room a few inches to peek in on her. She was fast asleep and Mooney was curled up next to the girl. He couldn’t help grinning and let out a soft chuckle. He shut the door to her room and went off to find Izzy. Albus found her in her bedroom. She looked like she was in the middle of something, so he waited in the doorway of her room until she was done.

Izzy turned, jumped, then smiled. “Albus, I didn’t see you. You are very sneaky. Thank you so much for coming with me,” she said, moving and hugging his neck. “You looked like you were in the middle of something, I didn‘t want to interrupt you. And you‘re welcome, I‘m glad you invited me,” he answered her and kissed her nose. “I want your help with something. I was hoping you could help me,” she told him softly with a gentle and sweet smile. “Sure, you know I will do anything for you. What do you need help with?” Albus replied, grinning down at her.

Izabella stood there smiling up at Albus. He was too sweet to her and she enjoyed being with him like this. She shook her head. ”No. It’s alright. I was just putting something away. I’m glad you are here. I needed you during this time.”she said softly looking at him then sighed softly when he kissed her nose. Closing her eyes she smiled. Albus made her so happy. Breathing deeply she sighed. ”I need you to help me burn some pictures. Some of my past. Things I want to forget. Things that I will only forget if I get rid of these pictures.”she said softly taking his hand and holding it lightly. Since they weren’t in an actual relationship with anyone or each other it was a friendly holding hands. Looking at him she was worried and hoped he would.
