The Vacation to the America's was nice, she got to see all sorts of things along with her lovely husband, who she adored so much. Plus it was giving her ideas about a new clothing line, since the one in Paris was doing so well, she thought she'd start a chain, it would be so wonderful, and she'd do that once the holidays were over with. Kara didn't even want to unpack, she would just do it later, right now she just wanted to sleep, after all the trip home was fun, she was up with Scorp but he drank quite a bit, although not enough to get snockered, but to much for the ride home. Even if it was a private plane, the moment she reached her bedroom it had been early morning. It's kind of what you get for flying half way around the world, passing the many time zones. so it was eight hours at least from the west side of the USA. She remembered her last words to Scorp were "i'm nackered.... see you in the morning love"
It was now New years day and the light shown in her eyes, she must have forgotten to shut the drapes last night. Kara rolled over to see the time, it was after one in the afternoon. Scorp was already up, he hadn't want to wake her up, the man was so sweet. She could hear voices in the other room, he must have some company, she got out of bed and went into the bathroom. Took a shower, brushed her teeth and took her pills. She felt so good and relaxed. The voices she could hear now were Scorp's and Draco's? Why in the world would he be here? Going back into the room, she made the bed listening to their raised voices and then she heard the door shut and it was all over with.
Kara came out of their bedroom and looked for Scorp. Why had his father come, she had no idea, but she knew she needed to ask him, but not while he was hot with anger. Maybe that was the only way he'd talk to her? She'd probably get yelled at, and she'd yell back and it'd start another fight. It seemed like most of the time they fought, but it wasn't about her family, it always had something to do with him, or with his family. Of course she knew a lot about him, and he still knew little about her, but she thought it was best that way, promising him that what she had told him after Cass had died and come back that it had been all her secrets. It was true, but he didn't know what she felt, what she battled all the time. She may be a year older than him, but she was raised the same way as him, as were her own brother and her Ex- Lucian Avery. Although she wasn't sure about Luc's younger sisters, but she knew he had a cousin, who was just like Scorp, but he couldn't get out of his family's grasp.
She found him, fuming "you better not punch a hole in the wall, or break any of the furniture" she laughed on the inside, but smiled on the outside. She looked at him with kindness and compassion. She was actually happy that Alex and Bianca weren't back yet, and if they were that they stayed in the guest house. She didn't really want them hearing all of this, all of their family problems. " so whats the matter love? why was Draco here? what did he want with you?" She sat down on the couch as she waited for a response from him.

Scorpius felt angry, to the point where he wanted to go after his former-father and curse him in the back. Scorpius was perfectly happy without him in his life. He could actually have fun, and not worry about what him or Astoria had to say. It wasn't a simpler life, but damnit, he'd rather deal with one that was more dramatic as long as the Malfoys stayed out of it. Sadly, they wouldn't, and it made his blood boil. Well, it wasn't really a they situation. It was more like Draco Spike Malfoy getting in the way, and ruining everything by stepping his expensive little leather loafers over everything. He was bloody sick of it! And he couldn't do anything about it, either. He was stuck in the worst of positions, between the Johnsons and the Malfoys, and he was sort-of being forced to choose.
Did he want to stay at the Johnson Estate, keep Kara's name, and stay happy? Or did he really want to be forced back into Malfoy Manor, under the watchful eye of his father, the man who was claiming that he loved him and that his grandfather was behind all of it? It didn't make any sense to him, though. Lucius had dropped by during his childhood, bringing him an occasional present or having a decent conversation with him, something that his father nor mother had done. But his mother wasn't the person he was worried about. He was worried about Draco, and his seemingly psychotic attempts to get him back. Scorpius had been under his control for practically seventeen years, and all he had done was shone him. So, why start trying to be a good father after all these years? It didn't make any sense to him. And the fact that some part of him wanted to go back, to see what would happen, sickened him even more. Not only did it sicken him, but it made him angry that he could still find himself being manipulated by Draco, when he wasn't even in the same damn vicinity all the time anymore.
The fact that his former-father had come over to Kara's home had also disturbed him. Why would Draco go through all this trouble, just to get a better relationship with him? That made him suspicious. Did he want him to be some part of some elaborate plan to earn the Malfoys more money? Did he want to have him under his control just for the fact that he still could manage to get control over his son? It made Scorpius' head spin. He stopped his pacing, sitting down on the couch and putting his head in his hands. His left hand was throbbing from when he had hit the table, but it wasn't enough to be mind numbing. He heard someone's footsteps, and looked up to see his wife standing in the doorway. He hadn't woken her, letting her sleep in, knowing that she was tired from their trip to the Americas. It had been fun, but at the moment, it was a distant memory in his confused mind. It felt like his thoughts and emotions were all running into one big, undecipherable mess, one that was providing him with a headache, to boot.
He didn't say anything when she warned him against breaking or harming anything in the house. Oh, how he wanted to go to the Room of Requirements at Hogwarts and get a few practice dummies and 'kill' them. It would help him think, clear his mind. He had no way to get to Hogwarts, at this moment, and he doubt he'd be able to think enough to figure out a plan right now. When he heard Kara start to question him, he stood up and faced the door, the way that his father had left, while Kara sat on the couch. "He wants me back. He wants me to come back to the family, to be his son again...to pretend like nothing ever happened. He keeps blaming Grandfather for everything he did, but Lucius was the only one that seemed to care an ounce for me, so, of course, I've caught him lying again. Either way, it seems like he wants me back, and he's not going to stop with these little visits until he gets me back." There was an angry, bitter undertone to his voice, one that wasn't hidden by anything other than confusion. He ran a hand through his blonde hair, and turned back to Kara, wondering slightly what she would say in answer to it.

Kara sat back and listened to her husband. She could obviously tell he was angry and upset, enough to not even look at her when she talked to him. She supposed he couldn't look at her, not if he didn't want to guess. Maybe he had been reminded of something. Who knows really, but one thing she did know was that Draco Malfoy may have been Crude and mean when he was in school, but he had a change of heart and now was some what of a decent guy, not completely decent, but somewhat. Kara could see that he was only trying to make things right with his son, trying to take control of his life. It reminded her of what her father had tried to do to her, when she favoured her uncle over him.
Three generations of the Malfoy blood line and Kara told Draco that she would try and help get her son back, Scorpius knows she went and saw him, although she doesn't know if he still remembers. She also remembers making conditions with Draco about living arrangements, but that wasn't of importance at this very moment. She looked up at Scorpius, seeing his back turned to her still. She spoke anyways, even though she honestly hated when people didn't look at her while she talked with them. "did you ever think that maybe your father truly does want to set things right, and that he had been a puppet in your grandfathers game for so long, he had grown up just like him? I bet if you ask your grandfather how he treated his only son, he'll tell you he treated him the exact same way your father had treated you, because i've seen your fathers memories and i know for a fact that it was the same way, and he tried not becoming like his father, and right now your going down the same path... And I WILL NOT STAND FOR THAT TO HAPPEN TO MY CHILDREN!" she said even though they weren't born yet, but they were having twins and she had told him at the christmas party that was what they were having. Kara honestly wasn't going to put up with his foul mood all the time. Even if he still was in school. "go and tell me how you feel Scorpius, because if you feel really torn inside, it probably means you need to quit fighting inside and choose a side, who are you going to believe, your father or grandfather?"
He probably knew that she wasn't finished and she knew that he wasn't above interrupting her when he was this angry. "your father is a decent man right now, and he's been trying to mantain it that way, your grandfather doesn't see that he was fit to raise you because he screwed up when he was about your age.... your grandfather was a death eater and your father was supposed to be one too, but your grandfather messed things up real bad and Draco had to fix them, but he couldn't do it, he was just a kid. So your loving grandfather blames him for all of his mistakes, and he may have started out turning out like his father, but he tried to change, your grandfather has poisoned your mind and i'm sorry you can't see that, but it's as clear as day, and i honestly think you should take back the Malfoy name, and prove to your father and grandfather that you have enough guts to show them that you will not turn out like them... you will choose to live your life the way you want to and no one can stop you" Kara honestly wished that she could listen to her own advice, because she was pretty much stuck where he was and she couldn't get out. She was so lucky that Selena didn't have to deal with being torn between the dark and the light, she may have a short temper, but she'd choose the light over the dark in an instant. Of that Kara was most positive.

He couldn't believe that she was sticking up for his father. The incredulity of the whole situation shone in his eyes. He felt annoyed at the fact that she wasn't actually saying anything against him, but for him. He remembered when she had been in the hospital, after she and her twin brother had...fought, she had been sad when he had told her that he had gotten disowned. She had said that they didn't know what mistake they were making. Now, they did. And now, they wanted him back. But Scorpius had never imagined that she would side with them. He thought she would've been a form of support, and that she would've been happy with his decision to stay away from Malfoy Manor, and the rest of his former-family. Apparently, he was completely wrong, and she had chosen to think the opposite of what he did.
He listened to her whole speech, growing more and more angry by the second. He understood that she was his wife, and that she was allowed to disagree with him, of course, but she was speaking to him as if he was a small child. He wasn't five, he didn't need to be told that he was wrong in such a way. But how did she know, in the first place? Why did she think that Draco was a puppet to Lucius? Nothing was adding up. He knew that his father...former-father and Lucius talked a lot, in Draco's study, but the door had always been locked, and Scorpius had never been an overly-curious child. He would've rather waited to hear what was going on, than eavesdrop and find out that way. But it didn't make sense to him that Kara would say that Draco was a puppet to Lucius...there was no way. His former-father was too strong-headed and devious to manage to be pulled under his former-grandfather's will...right? He was starting to doubt what he had thought, because of what she was telling him. After all, what reason did Kara have to lie? Then again...the information that she had gotten hadn't come from him, or from his former-family, he was sure, so it could've been information that had been confused, or manipulated in translation. He didn't know what to think.
His eyes were turning an icy shade of silver, and he wasn't even aware of it. That happened when he was angry enough. A power failure had some affects: not only could he not control them, but they acted of their own accord if he was driven enough. And at this point, he was so angry he could barely breathe. How dare Kara say that he would do what Draco had done to him to their own children? That was like Cass telling him that he was just like his family...former-family. She was basically calling him stupid, telling him that he had been brainwashed by Lucius. He didn't understand why she would do this...after all, she had no proof. She had probably heard from some random cousin of the Malfoys, ones that wanted to make themselves important because they were just that distant in blood that they didn't get part of the spotlight. Scorpius tried to take a deep breath, to calm himself down, but it didn't work.
"How dare you say that I'm being brainwashed by Lucius? And to tell me that I'll be a bad father? You're my wife, yes, but you have no right to tell me that I am stupid enough to get pulled into his web of lies, or that I'll be as bad as Draco was! And you...you shouldn't be talking at all! Obviously, you've been brainwashed by Draco! He isn't a good person, Kara! He just wants control over me again! Don't you get it? It's all an act! A bloody act that gets me to believe him, and to just come back ho...to Malfoy Manor like nothing ever happened! And I'm surprised that you didn't see right through it, but apparently, you don't care about that. Do you want the Malfoy name? Is that why you're sending me back to them? So that when I get claimed again, oh look at that, you're the wife of a Malfoy! How great!" His sarcastically icy voice wasn't loud at all. It was more of an angry sort-of hiss. He almost never yelled, because it never expressed his temper. He always ended up in a low, angry tone, one with hatred and bitterness mixed in. Right now, it was a mix of anger, bitterness, and an odd twist of surprise. His head was still spinning with every other thought that had just entered his mind, and he couldn't help but stare at her as he spoke, his cold eyes piercing hers', waiting for her to say something, now.

Kara had always been the curious type, so whenever her father's brother had come over she listened in the shadows as they talked, Of course she never thought they knew she was there, she always thought she had been sneeky and after they were done she had been gone and off to tell her brother what had happened. Alex wasn't the overly curious type, but he liked talking with his nosy twin sister. She has figured as much that he wouldn't like her provoking him like that, telling him that he wouldn't be a good father, but with the way he was acting now, all blind to his own family manners he was a likely canidate. She was going to do all it took to prove to him that his family has made some bad investments, but the real truly evil person here is in fact Lucius.
When she was angry, Kara's powers seemed to escalate, they were controlable but just barely. She hated being this angry but she couldn't help it, she had a short temper, but this... this was a full blown nobody better get caught in the cross fire fight. "you are the one who shouldn't be talking, and yes i do believe you've been brainwashed as you say, by your grandfather. As he's bought your trust from a young age and you took it without question, seeing as you were his second chance at having the perfect little evil son he always wanted." She knew he didn't mean what he said, because he was infact angrier than hell at the moment. Kara being who she was put images into his head, trying to convince him that he was the one mistaken. The moment he said that all she wanted was his family's name she lost it for good. "you better take what you just said back! i refuse to be called a Malfoy trophy wife, i don't need Your last name to get by... as it seems you needed mine to keep your wealthy status. and why are you so against your cousin leaving school? it's her bloody choice not yours, seeing as your not her father, nor mother... you don't seem to be concerned that i am dropping school, although i suppose i'd finish school whether or not it's now or later, because i haven't been disowned there really isn't anyone in my family that can disown me since i seem to be the head of mine after my uncle was imprisoned, i love my twin dearly but he isn't capable of handling the family's business... so i don't bloody give a fuck whether or not i have your ex-Last Name"
He was infuriating right now, he was just as full of himself as the last time they had talked about his family. He has so many family problems, but it doesn't even come close to her family problems. "your barking up the wrong tree if you want sympathy from me, i have so many more family problems than you could ever dream of. although your family problems start and end with the three Malfoy males... it's always about the three of you, or about your relatives being the famous Blacks, honestly it's quite annoying to hear about it all the time. But i kept my mouth shut, going on with life because thats what a good wife does" She didn't even want to begin telling him about her problems, she always will know more about him than he does with her.

In the back of his mind, he was glad that no one else was in the house at the moment. That would be bad, for that person, especially. No one could get caught in the middle of it, or it would be left unsolved, and that would just start creating a wall between them. It was downhill from there, that he knew. He hated when they fought like this, but with one of them being a Johnson, and the other having Malfoy blood...it wasn't like there was any way to avoid arguments like this. The topic, though, he would've never suspected. He listened to her go on, and on, and he couldn't help the fact that he was almost seeing red. His blood was boiling. How one simple question had turned into this full blown argument, he would never know.
"So now you're telling me I'm evil? First, I was going to be a bad father, but now, I'm evil? That medicine must have a side effect that includes brain damage, because obviously, there's no way you're in your right mind!" He hissed. At this point, he didn't care what came out of his mouth. His venemous words were meant to hurt, or to anger. Either way, he was getting what he wanted...well, at the moment. He wanted her to be as angry as she was, because she was the one that was running his temper further up the wall than it had been before. "He didn't earn my trust! He was the only person I had, and it wasn't that he was there much! I saw him maybe once, twice a year? What are you telling me, that my father was totally innocent, and Lucius was innocent? That's bullshit, Kara. Complete and utter bull." Scorpius said in his icy, bitter tone. He still couldn't fathom the fact that she was saying that Lucius was the evil one. Last year, when Draco had sought him out by the lake, Lucius had showed up at the perfect time and basically banished his son, saving Scorpius from what would've been a dangerous argument. So how was he the bad one? Scorpius knew that his former-grandfather wasn't the best man in the world, but he knew that Draco was a lot worst. He just knew it.
"I don't need your money or your damn status! I was doing just fine while I was by myself and I'd rather be on my own that be with you, since you're the one that's making it seem as if I'm living off you! You know you want that title, Kara. Don't lie. You'd be like every other million and one girl out there, just waiting for me to get claimed again so you can walk around like the trophy wife you just know you're looking forward to being, but you can't say it because you know it'd look bad!" He said. Lies. Lie after lie after lie. He didn't realize it, though. It was registering dimly, in the back of his mind, but that didn't matter at the moment. What mattered was...he didn't even know what mattered at this point. Winning the argument? It wasn't an argument, at the moment. It was an all out battle to see...he didn't even know at this point. It seemed like both of them were just butting heads, with differing opinions, different points of views on one situation, and two stubborn attitudes with hot tempers, to boot. And he knew, deep down, that this wouldn't be ending in a good way, at all. It would be an explosive ending, even if he was too angry to pull himself out of the haze and realize that this wasn't the smartest thing to be doing.
"Cass and I are none of your business! She's the one who told me that I was just another Malfoy! What if you were told that you were just another Johnson, you wouldn't like it, would you? Wouldn't you want to be counted differently from your family, if only to be your own person? I know you, and I know you'd hate it, no matter what had started the argument. And she shouldn't drop out of Hogwarts just because she has no way to support herself! We could've helped her! Now, she's just going to be just another Hogwarts dropout, stuck at a dead end. And when I tried to tell her that, it exploded into one huge deal, and then came the insults! You shouldn't be making comments until you had heard the whole story, but isn't it exactly like you to get into things that don't involve you?" He said, trying to breathe. It was imppossible to even think about what he was saying at the moment. He couldn't take time to try and rationalize, not when she was spitting her words at him. There was no point, either way. His common sense, his rationality wouldn't make a difference in the situation, if he had managed to dig it up. Both of them were too far gone by this point.
"You kept your mouth shut? Kara, you get into every single thing, putting your two cents in where it isn't wanted! You talk about my family all the time because you don't want to deal with your own family problems! And if you're so sick of hearing about the Malfoys and the Blacks, then why'd you marry one? That's right, K! If you haven't noticed, I'm a Malfoy! No matter who takes away a name or a title, I still have Malfoy blood, and they'll always be right there! And if you tell me to go back to them, then you're becoming a Malfoy, too! So either way, you'll be hearing about them all the time!" He hissed bitterly. "Cass? Yeah, she's a Black! And you like her so much, right? She's your friend, right? Well you'll be hearing about our families from her, too! You're straight in the thicke of it, K! But that's okay. Since you've been such a good wife, I'll try to be an even better husband and not talk about them at all! Oh, wouldn't that make you happy?" He asked, his voice a vicious, venemous block of ice. He glared at her, waiting to hear what else would come out of her mouth.

Kara hadn't realized when she had stood up, but she knew that she was reaching that boiling point to where she might not be able to come back from. She fell backwards, falling into the couch. taking a few breaths as she tried to calm down, honestly she wished she just would have stayed out of it. She did have a habit of getting into other peoples business and not being able to get out of it. She hoped to god that he didn't mean what he was saying, for it really hurt her. She listened as he talked and the anger kept building, this marriage idea wasn't the best. "i'm sorry, i don't mean to treat you like a child, maybe it's best we get a divorce, eh? then you wouldn't have to deal with me ever again" She really didn't mean it, she couldn't help that it came out though. It couldn't be stopped, even if she wanted to.
She didn't think that Draco was completely innocent, but Lucius wasn't innocent either. she didn't want to fight with him any longer, but she was going to be strong enough to leave him for the moment before she "dropped dead" once again. "no i'm not saying that your father is completely innocent, but your grandfather is the furthest from innocent." She honestly didn't know what else to tel him, all she could think of was that he was right, she didn't want to think about her family's problems. They always came back to bite her in the ass.
"ok, lets talk about my problems for a minute, a tell all about my past life, things that you don't already know.... lets start off with my father, him treating me like i was shit, worthless until Alex refused to be taught anything unless i was involved as well. So thats how i became a weapon, and the fact that i have to keep quiet all the time because not many people know that i killed my father, because he hurt my sister, and the fact that i had to grow up at the lovely age of thirteen because my father had been locked up and my mother died and i was the oldest and had to take care of my siblings until my aunt and uncle could be contacted. Or the fact that i struggle everyday to keep from going to the dark side, from where i used to be before you came into my life... "she took a deep breath before continuing. "i love you so much and thank you for saving me from myself, i could have ended up being married to Lucian who is a horrible person, he also hurt my sister to get back at me... but i hear he's trying to change for Lily's sake. And what about my health? the fact that everyone is always worried about me so much that it gets annoying because i feel like i'm an invalid, can't do anything for myself.... i've always been an independent person, and it's Lucian's fault for making me take these damn pills! since he got me knocked up and then for three months i was out, drugged by the Black and Malfoy families so they could make it seem like a miscarriage, so blaim him for my brain damage. "
There she said everything, it felt good but now she was upset, exhausted and just tired of fighting. she didn't know what she was going to do now that he knew everything and she still loved him through all their fights and everything, but she just wished that they would stop fighting, she sat there waiting for him to say someting, anythingm just not anything bad. She had a feeling that she might pass out and need medical attention real soon. [/blockquote]

The minute Scorpius heard the word 'divorce', all the anger draind out of his body, leaving him exhausted. He had no idea what the hell had just happened, and why he had let himself lose his temper so, but he knew he had made a big mistake. He knew all the things he had just said to Kara were so...awful. He felt sick to his stomach with himself. He had no idea why hearing that word, of all words, affected him so, but he didn't question it. He was just glad he had stopped before Kara's health had stopped the argument. He sat down on the couch that he was standing in front of, and put his head in his hands. What the hell was happening to him? This being split between the Johnson and Malfoy families was really getting to him, to cause him to lose his temper like that. He wouldn't admit it, though. He hated being so riled up, and especially coming down off that angry high...it was exhausting.
He listened to her, and didn't say a word. He just listened. He guessed he could give Draco a chance. Maybe go back to the family. If Kara was supporting him...he couldn't be all that bad, right? There had to be an explanation. He wouldn't believe that it was Lucius without some solid proof, but he could bring himself to believe that Draco was changing, if only for Kara's sake. He had taken the words about him being bad father to heart. He didn't want his children to turn out like him. He truly didn't want them to. That would mean that he was a complete failure as a father, and that his kids would suffer as he, and Kara, and Alex, and the rest of his generation had suffered by the hands of their parents. He was scared of them turning out like he did, though. He had never told Kara that, but he really did want to be a good father...though he was scared out of his wits. He inhaled, taking a deep breath, and exhaled. This fight had left him in tatters.
He listened to the story of her life, or at least, the outline of it. He didn't understand how their parents could stand to see them suffer so. Kara's father had been the one to sort-of start everything, and he didn't get how parents could do things like that to their children. Draco, Kara's father, and probably every other Slytherin parent had made such a mess of their children's lives, and he knew that he would never manage to do that. It made him sick that Kara had been drugged, just so that they could make her think that she had miscarried. Wait...had she just said Malfoy? He couldn't believe that his family had been party responsible for what had happened to Kara. He realized how little of her he really knew. She knew so much about his life, and he was just now being enlightened on her past. It was slightly creepy, knowing that he had given away all that information and realizing that he had gotten nothing in return so long after, but he didn't say anything to that effect either.
"I'm...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lose my temper like that. I didn't mean anything that I said. It was just...too much all at once. And I'm sorry that you had to be the one that I took it out on." He said. And it was true. He hadn't meant to explode at her like that. He guessed it was inevitable, with all the stress he had been under lately...it just seemed that everything coming together all at once would've created a big thing anyways, and if he hadn't blown up at Kara, he would've blown up at someone else. He couldn't believe that they could get so...nasty, with each other, though. Then again, this was a Johnson and a Malfoy, so he shouldn't have been surprised. The fact that he was now considering himself a Malfoy didn't register, though. He hadn't realized that he hadn't stopped himself from calling the Malfoys 'his' family, instead of his former family. He hadn't looked at Kara yet. He didn't lift his head to do so, either. He was ashamed at his blatant display of bad temper, and was still trying to get over all of the awful things he had just said to her. He waited for her to say something, though...anything, for now.

Kara couldn't believe that they had just went cut throat at each other. Normally she wouldn't have let this happen, but sometimes it's just best to clear the air. She told him things about her family that no one else knew and now he knew just about everything. Her pressure dropped qutie fast and she knew what it meant, either Scorp would need to call Jamie or Vic or she'd need to head to St. Mungo's Emergency Room.
She couldn't move, well she cold if she wanted to but she couldn't move because she didn't know if her lights were going to go out or not. "it's alright Scorpius... i didn't mean what i said either, but sometimes it's just best to clear the air... but right now you need to listen to me. I'm not feeling to well, i might be unconcious in a few seconds... so either call Jamie or Vic, or run me to the Emergency room. bec..." With that she was out cold. She honestly needed some medical attention otherwise her life would end here and now.

Scorp heard her begin to talk, and all of a sudden, she was passed out. He swore, and picked her up. He ran to the fireplace and threw it in the fireplace, shouting out the name of St. Mungo's Hospital so that they wouldn't run into any problems. He hadn't even thought of apparating, but that probably wasn't a good idea with her being pregnant, anyway. They were swept up in a whirlwind of green flames, and they ended up in the lobby of St. Mungo's. With Kara in his arms, he rushed to the desk, and seeing the panicked look on his face, the woman behind it called for a team of mediwizards. All of a sudden, Kara was gone from his arms.
He had a serious, worried expression on his face. "She needs Victoire Weasley! I don't care who she's with, who she's tending to...I don't even care if she's not here. That's Kara Johnson, you make sure you get her whoever the hell she needs, do you hear me?" The woman's eyes widened when she heard the last name Johnson, and Scorpius knew that she'd be getting Healer Weasley. And if Kara didn't? Well, when he had the Malfoy name back, he'd be sure to get her fired. That, Scorpius had no doubt about. The woman told him to wait out in the waiting room, which was surprisingly empty, but he guessed that that was understandable, knowing that today was New Years' Day. He paced back and forth, and waited, not knowing what to expect at this point.

Vic got the call that she knew she was going to have to go in for. She knew the patient and she knew the situation but she was left at a disadvantage, not being able to remember the progression. She had been interrupted in the middle of making dinner on her one night off in a while. Though she was very busy she was making more time for Teddy and working to make it all nice time. She was trying a new recipe, one that took a while but that she thought he would like. She was actually really excited about all of it, and she was glad she had her boyfriend back. Then she got a call that was most unwelcome at the present. Kara Johnson. Well, it wasn’t like she could ignore it after all. She would just have to leave the dinner half cooked and ruined.
Vic was there in a flash, literally, apperating to the hospital and opening the door to the room without asking and without waiting to be invited in. She assessed the situation. She said nothing to Scorpius, able to tell in an instant that this was caused by the blood pressure and other complications from pregnancy. She had the supplies she needed to fix this but she was going to have to act quickly. At least she didn’t have to worry about the numbing agent, Kara was unconscious. She had to quickly re-calculate the levels, given the presence of the twins. Then, quickly finding the vein in Kara’s arm, she inserted the needle. Then she tilted Kara’s head back and delivered a breath and worked on her racing pulse. She found the spot over Kara’s heart and pressed her fingers down, rubbing a circle to try to regulate it. She felt it start to slow under her fingers as she delivered another breath.

Kara jerked for air the moment she rendered conciousness. She took a few more deep breaths and went limp again, but it was more of a "my body needs to rest now thanks" limp. She could hear the beeping of her pulse, and knew she was in the hospital, the one place she didn't want to be but couldn't help it. It must have been Vic who saved her life, she thought. Noises were all around her but she couldn't do much, she tried with all her might to wake up again, opening her eye lids, all she could see was blurs. Panic overcame her when she blinked a few times and still couldn't see all that clearly, but remembered that she was partly blind, without her glasses on. Was she loosing her memory? she honestly hoped not, for her sake, and her childrens sake, but for the life of she, she could have sworn that she has short term amnesia. "W-w-hy am I h-e-r-e?" she spit it out, she remembered having come home from their trip and nothing was wrong, so why was she here now? A sharp pain hit her and she was out once again.

He wasn't allowed in her room, they had said. He had told them that he was her husband, but they didn't believe. He was furious, and he knew that the woman at the front desk was not going to be there much longer, once he was done with her. And so he paced, up and down, back and forth, in the waiting room, impatiently hoping that some kind of news would be brought to his attention at the very next second. He knew it was impractical, for him to hope that she would be completely fine in only a few minutes, but he trusted Healer Weasley with what she was doing. Well, at least, Kara did, and he tried to go along with what Kara believed in, especially for the situation right now. He turned back around and walked back to the desk. "Can't you give me any information, at all? She's been back there for a while...how do I know if she's okay?" He said, already having no patience to wear thin.

The nurse was getting a bit tired of this young man's patience. "Sir, just go in, you're wife's fine, room three" the nurse informed Scorpius and went back to her computer. Kara was starting to become anxious and she wanted to know where she was and why she was here. "Scorpius?" Kara moved her head slightly to the left and right looking for him. Why was she at the hospital and how did she get there. Scorpius glared at the nurse and ran down the hallway towards Kara's room. He had heard her call out his name and he rushed to her side. "are you okay? I was so worried about you." He hated when they fought and from this day forward he was going to try and not let his temper get the better of him. He didn't know what he would do if he lost his wife. Kara felt his hand on her's and she squeezed it slightly. "Hey you" She said softly looking at him. "Why am I here? What happened?" She asked him with her voice trembling a little. Scorpius looked down at his wife, did she honestly not remember them fighting not more than a few hours ago. This concerned Scorpius greatly, he wondered what was truly causing all his wife's issues. Could it have been something like what had been done to Cass. He didn't know all the details about Kara's life, but he intended on finding out what exactly happened between his ex best mate Lucian and Kara, and what better way than to ask the other half of the source. Scorpius slid his fingers down Kara's cheek and gave her a slight smile. "Hey, you asked me to bring you here. You specifically asked for healer Weasley" he said. "just rest now my love... We'll talk soon, I promise." he said and kissed her forehead. Kara gave him a slight smile and drifted back off to sleep. She would trust what he had told her and she didn't have the energy to ask him more questions.
