Poisonus Planning (Ducky's Dudes!)

[LILY LUNA -----]

Lily found herself smiling after her confrontation with her ex-boyfriend. She and, surprisingly, a group of Gryffindors, a Hufflepuff, a Ravenclaw, and a few outside of school, were going to poison the band that was supposed to play at the ball. She was the one that had arranged for one of them, Aaron, to make his way into Hogwarts. Lily still had one or two contacts that were loyal to her, or that owed her favors, and so she had managed to get Aaron here just in time for them to get the other band out of the way. Lily was starting to use her scheming mind for a better purpose, and she guessed that this definitely went towards changing. After sort-of reconciling relationships with her family, she was trying to be better, without alerting her father. She still wasn’t at all happy with him, and she wasn’t going to pretend to be, either. She was sort-of sick of pretending, right now.

She listened on as they went over the plan on what they were going to do with the other band, and she almost started to laugh. This plan was crazy, but it had been she and Jamie that had come up with it, and of course, Lily came up with the poisoning and getting rid of the band. She was the scheming expert of this plot, as she had been coming up with worse since first year. She hadn’t been Queen B. out of total luck, after all. She looked up to the stage where the current band was playing. Not for long, Lily thought. She was in her black dress, her heels and her earrings, with her hair up in curls, and she looked good, even though none of it was expensive. She doubted that anyone else in the group had noticed that she had actually been able to dress up, but then again, they didn’t care, because all they wanted was to execute their plan. And surprisingly, Lily was okay with that. She stayed in their little group, pulling herself out of the memories and focusing.

After almost a third of the dance had passed in what some of the guys thought was substandard music, they had thought it was time for a change. They had some how gotten together with Lily the other day, or well she came across them chatting. and now it seemed like it was time to put that plan in motion. Benny had thought it was alittle crazy. that they even teamed up with Lily and that they allowed her to talk them into this.

If they were caught, it could ruin Jay's rep as a good little healer. Especially if it was mostly his and Lily's plan. But it was too late to go back on the plan. too late to chicken out.and besides, The Lost Boys never, or almost never chicken out of a chance to preform.when all of them are together.By some miracle they had managed to give their dates a slip to meet up with Lily.

all five of the lost boys were accounted for. Including Benji, who most people would assume he was on the run. and Aaron who was surprisingly let in... thanks to some help from Lily's contacts.

“So, basically, Jamie and I are going to put it in their water. Of course, they’ll be drinking a lot of it, and I’ll be blending in, unnoticed…so, there shouldn’t be a problem. All we need to do is figure out what to do once they start to feel the side affects.” She said. She did know what they would be; the nausea, the sleepiness…they’d probably pass out soon after. “Maybe we could tell them to take a five minute break, and lead them down to the dungeons? No one would be down there until after the Ball was over, so that would probably work. I don’t know if it’s fool-proof, though.” She said with a slight, dainty shrug.

The circumstances on which she and Jamie had come together were odd. She had overheard him talking about playing at the Yule Ball, but without the means to do it. And so, she had offered her help, knowing that she couldn’t scheme in any other way, as her father was watching her. Scheming would be impossible with this many eyes on her, and so she decided to offer her help. Even though she couldn’t be Queen any more, she could still put her talents to use. She waited for the group’s input, and sighed as she shifted her weight slightly in her heels. Standing on these shoes after a week in plain sneakers was a little harder than what she had been doing before, where every day had been in break-neck heeled shoes. She took a breath and looked back at the band. She knew that this would be easy, she was sure of it.

The guys listened to what Lily was saying. Sure there was potential for them to get in trouble... but what's life without the risk of danger. Jay was just nodded along to what Lily was saying as the others were paying attention, and were ready to put input when needed. Benny had peered over at the band who was on stage. then he looked back over to the others. "so... It looks like they are aqua drinkers eh? " which was his way of saying that the band were a purely sober one. No wonder why the band was boring.

"they probably would listen to me since i am a perfect... i could lead them down. but we would have to make sure they don't remember anything..." contributed Jerad in a passing way. Aaron offered to go with Jerad on that to help with the memory thing. the two Bens were going to set up everything after the band gets sick from the poison.

Lily rolled her eyes. She agreed with the unspoken thought from Benny. The group was extremely dull, and even though the crowd seemed to be having fun, she was sure that it would be a lot more entertaining once an actually good band got on stage. Even though she wasn’t one to five out compliments, she would have admitted that they were good. The group actually had talent, which was something that the guys on stage didn’t. And that was Lily being honest. She nodded, though. “Yeah. Nothing spiked in their water, either.” She said in slight disgust. Even though she didn’t drink much, she never had just plain water when she was having fun. That was just a party-mood killer.

“They would listen to you. Oh, and I can do a pretty good memory charm, so I can help.” She said with another dainty little shrug. She had learned it from one of the seventh years when she had seen them do it, and asked what the charm was. Then, she had practiced and learned it all by herself, after she had seen the movements. She wasn’t going to be able to deal with them after the full effects of the poison worked it’s way into their system, but it wouldn’t do any real damage. All it would do was make them sick, knock them out for a few hours, and when they woke up, the ball would be over, and they wouldn’t remember a thing. It was an amazing plan, if she said so herself.

“So, Jamie, you ready to go?” She asked. All she had to do was go to lower stage right, which held a pitcher of ice cold water, and dump the vial she had in her pocket into it. Jamie would go to lower stage left, and do the same thing she had done, since there were two pitchers. Then, they’d sneak back to the group, and then Jerad would go and lead them to the dungeons. Then, she and Aaron would come and help with the memory charms while Benny and Benji went to go and set up. The plan was perfect, and she knew it would work.

Benny laughed and murmured, "what losers" which earned him a shove by Benji as a joke. Benji had been trying to keep sober. Which was unlike what the others were doing. It was just a brotherly shove. since all the guys acted like brothers in arms all the time. But that was because they genuinely cared about each other.

Jerad nodded to what she said and Aaron said, "Sounds great to me" The plan did seem sorta fool proof. or at least getting there. It was just interesting to the guys that they were even teaming up with a rival of sorts to do this. Jay had been distracted by something, but Lily's question brought his attention back to her. He just nodded simply. It was odd for him to do the opposite of what he normally did. Normally he would try to heal people... and not making people sick. He gripped the vial in his hand. ready to go and start the execution of the plan.

Lily fingered the vial in her hand, and nodded back to Jamie, telling him wordlessly that she was going to go do it now, and that he should follow her lead. Lily slunk off into the crowd, blending in seamlessly. She passed one person after another, hiding the vial in her hand by holding her dress so that she would be able to walk. The vial was in her right hand, and was hidden by the black coloring of the dress. It was hard making her way through the crowd, as now, people didn’t exactly move to the side when she walked through, making a pathway for her. Now, they just looked in disgust at her, or ignored her all together. She didn’t really care at this moment, though.

She reached the stage about three minutes later, and saw the clear pitcher of ice water the band was using. She laughed to herself slightly as she took the top off the vial, and put it to the edge, where the water came out, and poured it in. The vial was crushed cruely under her Prada stiletto heel, and she vanished the broken glass with the wave of her wand. She slipped back into the crowd, and back over to the group. “Okay, my part’s done. Now, we just have to wait for Jamie.” She said with a slight smile.

Jay had seen her nod. He pulled his hair out of the ponytail and gotten lost in the crowd of dancing students. He made his way to the other side and pulled the stopper from the vial and dumped the contents into the water. He destroyed the vial and hurried back to the group. but to get over there faster, he scampered over to them in his form. He crawled up Benji's back and was on his shoulder just as Lily mentioned his name. Benji smirked and muttered "Very Funny Jay." to the Orange Tamarin who was on his shoulder.

The plan had gone perfectly. The poison had worked, and the guys had been led downstairs. No one had found anything out, until McGonagall had ran into the guys downstairs, and had tested them for poison, realizing that something wasn't right about the situation. Lily had been pulled into her office, along with her father, and Lily had gotten a reprimanding from Harry, right in front of the Headmistress. On top of that, she had landed herself with a month's detention, and another strike next to her name in both her father's and Headmistress McGonagall's books. She just rolled her eyes at the unfairity of it all. She hadn't thought of making a variation in the poison she had once used and been caught for before because she had thought the plan was airtight. How was she supposed to know that McGonagall had known something was wrong?

Now, the dance was wrapping up, the band had played, and more and more people were slowly dwindling out the Great Hall's gigantic wooden-carved doors. She sighed, her curls moving slightly within their hairpins. She had on a different dress since the last time the band had seen her, one that was extremely expensive, one given to her from her ex-boyfriend Lucian Avery, when hers' had been sabotaged. She had on matching jewlery and shoes as well. Lucian had given her the whole outfit. She really didn't know what to think of the whole thing, because, after all, she shouldn't have accepted it. That just brought her a little closer to being back with Luc. She felt more comfortable in the clothes than she had felt for the past few weeks in anything that she had ever put on. The desire to act that Queen B. part had been there, though, and she had tried so hard to resist it, and, for once, she had succeeded. She was sure that Luc had been surprised at the change in her disposition, but he hadn't said anything, and neither had she. Lily smiled slightly as she looked around her. The night was coming to an end.

Jay and the guys were leaving the stage after their last song. The others went off to who knows where and Jay just wandered about with his guitar on his back. As he did, he had heard rumors that Lily was in trouble.That got him quite curious. So Jay set out to look for her to see if it was true and if the guys and him were in trouble as well. Soon enough, he spotted her. "Lily... i heard that you got in trouble." He had said in an apologetic tone. It wasn't fair that she got into trouble in his opinion. He was too scared to ask if they got into trouble too.

When Lily heard Jamie's voice, she turned around. So she guessed the rumor really had spread around by now. It was kind-of crazy how fast people talked, when you really thought about it. She shrugged slightly. "Yeah, and a month's worth of detention on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Lucky me." She said with an eye roll. She wondered why he had come over, though. The band didn't really seem like the type to feed into the gossip, or, well, that's what she had thought, but apparently, she had been wrong. She didn't say anything, though. "Why did you come over to ask about it? Or did you want to confirm it?" Lily asked, trying to seek out his real reason for coming over to her.

Jay heard what Lily had said. He felt sorry that she got into that major amount of trouble. But then again it could have been way worse than that."i guess it could have been worse. In fact i think i had worse than that before" He shrugged lightly. "i just rather hear things from the source or whatever. and i was wondering if me and the guys got into trouble as well" If they got into trouble... oh well... he would accept it. if not, then he would be incredibly grateful to her.

[LILY LUNA -----]

Lily laughed slightly. "Detention isn't a problem for me. It'll be better, since I get to get away from the common room. After all, a Gryffindor would know how cruel Slytherins can be." She said. She was glad to get away from the violence of the common room and the nastiness of people's attitudes towards her. That just got her mad, and her being mad, wasn't exactly a good thing. When she got mad, the only people she got in trouble were herself and the people that were close to her. Lily heard the real reason he had come to her for, though. He had wanted to know if he had gotten in trouble. She shook her head with an undainty snort. "None of you got in trouble. In fact, McGonagall didn't know about you being involved or suspected you of any wrong-doing. I told her that I hated the other band, so I got them out of the way. Then you guys came and filled in. So...you're good." She said.

Jay laughed gently and said, "at least there's that am i right? and yeah i know. Gryffindors could be cruel too. I have seen it before. Maybe once or twice participated in some pranks that may have seemed harsh. " He rolled his eyes dramatically. He had heard what she had said and felt conflicted about it. "thanks...but somehow it doesn't feel right... that you got into trouble and not me and the guys. " He said in a low tone. He was thinking that it was funny that McGonagall hasn't realized how far they would go to get their music heard.

Lily shrugged daintily. "Each house has it's own problems. Though, Slytherins' are more pronounced than any of the others, I have to admit." She said. It was ridiculous how many problems her house had. From abandoning families, from people trying to prove themselves, to trying to avoid getting disowned, to falling in love with the wrong people...the amount of angst in her house was amazing. And what her little group used to be like, with Lucian, Scorpius, Kara, and her? They were now at the center of it for their house. She shook her said slightly, though, her curls swaying slightly in their updo. When Lily heard what Jamie had to saty next, though, she rolled her eyes with another snort.

"Once I become Queen again, it would be bad to owe me a favor, Jamie, which would be the only way to get even. Let's just...pretend this never happened, alright? That way, there's no way that you'll be connected to this, and we can both go off and act like we hate each other. Is that good with you?" She asked with a soft laugh. It would be better that way. That way, once she became Queen B. again, she would be able to continue on without having to worry about them, and they wouldn't owe her anything and they hadn't gotten in trouble. She waited for a response from Jamie, wondering what he would say.
