It had been a few weeks since Luke had actually asked Rose to be his girlfriend and naturally Luke wanted to do something nice for him and Rose. The room was dark red and black which really set off the beautiful candle light that was the only thing that was illuminating the room. The light cast off of the walls and instead of it being eerie, it was romantic and beautiful. The fireplace that was in the far wall was lit and pillows were all around the fireplace for a comfy spot to sit. Hopefully Rose would love this all. This was a lot of work for Luke and he hoped she really loved it.
Sitting down within the pillows, he sighed and looked into the firelight waiting for Rose to arrive. This was his own private room to himself for the duration he was staying at Hogwarts. The room had been dull and boring and Luke had brought it to life with the beautiful colors and the exquisite room decor. But some of it had been added just recently so he could do something romantic for Rose.

Rose took a deep breath as she walked. She was nervous as can been. She rushed through the halls holding her shoes in her hand as she ran through the halls. Reaching the dungeons she slipped on her shoes and walked to Luke’s room. Glancing around she smiled leaving her hood up. She was hoping to surprise him with her outfit. Most likely she knew he was not expecting it but she wanted him to know that she was dressing up for him. Looking down she stood there before reaching up and knocking on the door. She was nervous of course because she really liked Luke and wasn’t sure what he’d think of her outfit. Blinking she looked down waiting for the door to open. Outfit: clickey here |

Hearing the door knock, Luke sprang up from the pillows and went immediately to the door. Opening it up, he looked to see if it was the arrival he wanted it to be. Indeed it was and a bright smile passed over his face as he opened the door completely. "Rose." He said as he gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "I'm glad you came. I have a surprise for you. I hope you like it." Letting go of her, he grabbed her hand and led her gently into the room. The beautiful reds were glowing off the walls and the fireplace was at a full blaze now. Letting go of her hand, he walked behind her and put his arms around her waist and put his head on her shoulder. "So. What do you think?" He asked really hoping she liked it. Luke could be a romantic guy if he really tried, and this time he had really tried.

Smiling she saw him open the door and it made her smiled even brighter. Hugging him she let him kiss her cheek. Hearing her name come from his lips made her feel amazing. She looked at him hearing the next words and smiled. She loved surprises and nodded. ”I am sure I will.”she said softly and walked in holding his hand. Gasping she looked around. It was absolutely beautiful. It matched her so well. Looking around was amazing. He did such a great job. It was beautiful. Turning alittle at the feeling of him moving behind her and putting his arms around her waist and putting his head on her shoulder she smiled softly. ”I absolutely love it Luke. It’s beautiful. You did this for me?”she asked softly looking at him smiling not letting him see her surprise for him.

Seeing her smile and her reaction to this all, he couldn't help but be extremely elated that she was completely happy with it all. "I'm glad you like it. I did this all for you." Letting his hands go off of her waist, he went to the front of her with a smile. "I thought we could curl up by the fire and I could hold you in my arms. Like this." He said pulling her to him and holding her tight. "Maybe kiss you like this." He said as he leaned down and gave her a gentle loving kiss. The taste of her lips was like molten chocolate to Luke and he couldn't ever get enough of them. But the kiss ended quickly and he looked at her with a soft expression. "So shall we?" He asked letting go of her and going to sit on the pillows. Situating himself, he fixed up a spot for her to sit as well, right in front of him so he could hold her in his arms as she leaned back into him.

Looking around she took a deep breath and took in his scent once more. She looked up seeing him and smiled softly. ”Thank you Luke. I love it.”she spoke softly and then heard him speak. Smiling softly she moved to him and clung to him and looked up at him. Hearing him she saw him lean down and she met him in the middle and kissed him back happily. She had lip gloss on but that did nothing for her. The kiss sent chills down her spine and a million firecrackers went off inside her body. His kisses were breath taking. The kiss ended to quickly. She pouted silently as she heard him and watched him go to the pillows. She nodded and slipped off her hood then the shoes and then her cloak all together revealing her outfit and her surprise for him. She turned setting the cloak down then turned biting the corner of her lip as she looked down waiting for his reaction. ”So…what do you think?”she asked softly. She hoped he liked it.

A smile couldn't be shook from Luke's face as his happiness that she loved it radiated from him. It was contagious and maybe she would catch his very core of his happiness. Of course, she wouldn't understand because what made him happy was her. Luke turned his head to look over his shoulder as she walked over to his slipping off her cloak revealing the beautiful outfit that she had on underneath. Literally, Luke's jaw dropped a little and he couldn't help but just look her up and down. "I absolutely love it Rose. You look stunning." He said getting up on his knees and smirking. "Now get down here with me missy." Grabbing her he pulled her down and had a hold of her so she landed in his lap.
"You are absolutely gorgeous." He said looking into her eyes and smiling a goofy grin. "Especially with the firelight glowing on your face. Breathtaking." He said not able to compliment her enough.

Smiling she saw his jaw dropped and looked down. She found it funny and very cute. Blushing she couldn’t believe he said she was stunning. Watching him get on his knees she smiled then gasped when he pulled her down and held her when she landed on his lap. Wrapping her arms around his neck she giggled lightly and blushed a darker red and smiled at him. Looking down she heard him and kissed him lightly when he spoke last. What could she say? He was full of compliments tonight. Pulling away she looked at him. ”I only wanted to look my best for you Luke. You deserve the best.”she said before kissing him again with a soft smile. Rose couldn’t help but be beyond happy no matter what she was happy with Luke.

The blush just couldn't keep the smile off of his face. Rose was just so beautiful and that blush made her adorable which was also beautiful. Kisses that fell upon his lips made him smile as well. Those kisses were what made him want to get up in the morning, she made him want to get up in the morning. Then hearing her comment, all he could do is look at her with a glassy, loving look and shake his head. "Rose, you look your best even in the morning with your hair in a mess and in your pajamas. Even with smelly breath and dirty mud ridden clothes. You always look your best."
It was true. That's exactly how Luke thought about his beautiful Rose. Everything about her was perfect and nothing would change that, ever. Pushing a piece of hair out of her face, he sighed and asked the question he had been wanting to ask. "Rose. Would you like to go to the yule ball, well... with me?" He asked her straight out. No sense in waiting to ask her and his excitement about asking her was just overwhelming. He had been wanting to ask her for a while, but never got the chance, so he took it when he could.

Smiling at her beloved she couldn’t help but be this happy. Kissing him was amazing. It kept her smiling and excited for her tutoring all the time. Except most recently they weren’t really tutoring they were just spending time with her while she did her homework. If she had a question she’d ask him and he’d help her. Looking at him she just smiled and looked at him. Hearing him she laughed lightly hearing him. ”As do you my red haired lover.”she said laughing lightly then kissed his cheek and smiled.
Looking down she rested there with him feeling so much better. ”But I like to dress up for you. I love it.”she said softly to him and let him move the hair out of her face. Tilting her head with a light smile she listened to him and blushed a little then was so happy. ”I’d love to Luke. I am so glad you asked me.”she said softly kissing his cheek again and rested her head against his and just rested there. Rose was so happy. She would get to dress up for him once more. The feeling of happiness filled her body and she hugged him tight against her. She was so happy.
