Its that time of the month again, A trip to hogsmeade was long overdue for Natalie, She walked down the cobble stone road looking in windows alternately, They held things like "Broomsticks, Candy, Wands and whatnot" it was so interesting how they decided what went on display it was almost always the more expensive things in the front of the display getting the most attention, Then the less expensive in the back where hardly anyone could see.

Natalie turned away from the windows and Bumped into one person "Im sorry" she mumbled as she walked over to a bench and sat on it, It was autumn so it was a bit chilly she pulled her jacket closed and tied it together tightly she rubbed her a bit for warmth and watch the couples pass by her, They were looking into each others eyes, They were holding hands and kissing and flirting, It made her queasy so she looked at the ground sure her blush was apparent, She always blushed when she saw couples, It felt like she would never be as happy as them,

Lily had went into Hogsmeade, avoiding her minions in favor of wandering by herself. She had shunned Elaina, the girl that had told her about her old boyfriend's situation, and kicked her out of her group, deciding that social destruction was better. With that plan already rolling into place, she decided that taking a break to Hogsmeade was best. She couldn't stand them at this very moment, so much to the point that she had yelled at one of the younger ones, forcing her to cry. At that point, Lily had known she had to get out of the castle.

Forgoing her usual spots, Lily blended into the crowds for once, thinking that she would be noticed, and not really feeling the need to be too bitchy. It was rare for the Queen B. to not feel like ruining anything, usually people's lives, but after her and Luc's non-relationship being outed on Gossip Girl, she felt like slipping into the floor. She had Lysander Scamander, the Scamander that had risen in popularity, as her newest boy-toy, but he didn't do anything for her but hold her up on his arm like a trophy. She faked a smile when around him, but they didn't click at all. He gave her good advice, that she didn't listen to, and she gave him good publicity. That was just how they worked; and it was almost functional. The function was boring to her.

She was standing by a shop window when someone bumped into her. They apologized, and she just looked at the girl. She was shorter than her, though she knew who she was. She followed her over to the bench, and sat down next to her. She put on her usual smile, the one she used to patronize her minions, and looked at her. "You're Natalie Davies, right? I'm Lily Potter. I'm...friends with your little sister?" She said. She waited for a response, seemingly having a good time.

Natalie Looked over the ground and kicked a stone around until out of no where a girl sat beside her, Natalie had seen this girl before. As she spoke Natalie looked up at her, It was odd she was in 7th year but she was awfully short. "You're Natalie Davies, right? I'm Lily Potter. I'm...friends with your little sister?". It instantaneously clicked, Lilly was her sisters friend ? She never knew that, But still it is possible. She was going over answers in her head Option 1- Yes i am natalie Davies, And i know who you are ... Too stand offish she thought


Then finally she responded " Yeah, Natalie That's me... But you can call me Nat" she said weakly. "Nice to meet you Lilly potter, You must be Harry's daughter" she bit her lip. It was obvious that Lilly was his daughter
The things Natalie said some times were so stupid, For being in Ravenclaw Wasn't she sopst to be smart? She was book smart, She thought just not Life smart. Natalie Put out her hand to shake Lilly's. Not knowing that the girl would shake it

Lily wasn't friends with her sister. Her sister was a minion of hers', specifically, one of the ones she had yelled at. She had no idea why she was talking to this girl...maybe she could end up a minion, just like her sister? It seemed that the Davies girls were easily manipulated, and Lily loved easy cases. Even though she loved challenges, she loved when she could just simply get her way. That way, she didn't have to put in any effort, and she could channel that in other places. Like Lysander. Sort-of. Not that she'd try with him, anyways.

"Sure! ...Nat." Lily's smile looked slightly pained for a moment, but it returned to it's original state. When she heard her ask about being Harry Potter's daughter, Lily almost burst out by saying 'Of course I'm Harry Potter's daughter! Who else has the last name Potter, you stupid girl?' but she didn't. She managed to hold it back. "Yes. Harry Potter's my father. You're in...Ravenclaw, right? She talks about you often." Lily was outright lying. Her sister hadn't spoken a word of her, probably ashamed that she had been pulled into the Queen B.'s fold, and not wanting her sister to get involved. She looked down at Natalie's hand, almost frowning in disgust, but shook her hand with the same slightly-pained smile, that disappeared when she let go mere seconds later.

Natalie was shocked that the girl actually shook her hand, But then something clicked. Her sister Lilly potter... HER SISTER was like an obsessive case over this girl, Her little sister babbled on and on about how she was finally In the IN crowd because of Lilly potter, At dinner she had said "Natalie, why are non your your friends, Friends with Lilly potter, to witch she replied "Because i'm 7th year, duh!" . Then she noticed Lilly's Strained smile. She was obviously the queen b Of the fifth years. Natalie retracted her hand as fast as possible. Knowing that Lilly probably was not the type to be all buddy buddy with her

"Yeah im in ravenclaw." she said but she sensed Lilly was lying "She doesn't talk a word about me" She knew this would take Lilly by surprise. Natalie looked at her "When exactly did you and my sister become Friends" she said putting emphasis on the Friends,

Natalie was pondering why Lilly was talking to her, She looked at the ground and let her long black hair fall over her Left shoulder, Lilly had brown eyes and perfect shiny brown hair, Natalie knew that She looked horrid next to Lilly potter, But really who cares ? She's older than Lilly

Lily wasn't only Queen B. over the fifth years. She had full reign over the school. She had seventh years under her queenship, recruiting more and more people for her. Kara had taught her well, but she had gone higher, and taken the title of 'Queen B.' to a new level. People hated, feared, loved, and admired her...depending on the person you asked, you'd get a different answer. First she had dated Scorpius Malfoy, then she had moved onto Lucian Avery, and now she was with Lysander Scamander. It seemed like Lily knew no boundaries, and if she did, she totally ignored where they were placed.

Lily raised an eyebrow when Natalie disagreed with her, but brushed it off. Natalie was allowed to be a little bit...feisty. Sure, it wasn't appreciated, but Lily was sure that she'd have her for her little collection of minions soon enough. If she couldn't do it herself, she had other seventh years, plus the girl's little sister, to do it for her. She wasn't worried in the slightest. "Why? Is that somehow...relevant?" Lily asked, the smile turning more into a smirk. Lily wasn't sweet. She wasn't nice. She sure as hell wasn't innocent, and it seemed that Natalie had finally figured that out. That was good; at least she wasn't too slow on the uptake, Lily thought to herself.

Natalie Raised her eyebrows, She was not one to be pushed around unlike her sister, Natalie would stand up for herself, Natalie younger sister, always did what she said when she was little all Natalie had to say was "The monster under your bed will eat you if you don't do it". Natalie was a bit of a bully a few years ago, She was the Bitch of the family, When her father was home she was sweet, Her mother on the other hand was a different story, Once she had told Natalie a story when Harry potter and Her mother Cho chang went on a date. Apparently it did not go so well, This might have been a good thing seeing as they had Lilly.

Natalie Looked over at Lilly "Not relevant....I was just wondering," Natalie said her voice suddenly full of acid, Natalie Was not about to let Lilly walk all over her, Couldn't she just accept that Natalie would not give in to her, Just because shes Harry potters Daughter, Natalie did not really care, But if Lilly wanted a friend she was going about it all wrong, Plus Natalie guessed that The last thing Lilly needed was a friend, Natalie Played with the strap of her shoes while Lilly digested this information,

That was the one thing that Lily needed. Lily needed someone to stop her, Lily needed someone to pull her out of the deep ditch she was digging herself into. She needed to get someone to slap some sense into her. It seemed that Lily was all about the popularity, the control, the glitz and the glam, but truly, she just didn't know what else to search for, so she searched after that. She went looking for that. She wanted the money, the power, the designer clothes, the shoes, the bags, the jewlery...because she didn't know what else to want. Lily, herself, though, didn't know that. She didn't know because she ran whenever things got too hard. She doubted it would ever change.

"Oh, no need to get angry. Weren't we just having a civil conversation?" Lily asked in a patronizing voice. She was getting the girl riled up, not because that made any sense, but to show her that Lily knew that she knew what was going on. Lily didn't think that the girl had caught onto wanting to be used as a minion, but it seemed that she didn't want anything to do with Lily. Lily didn't care about that, though. She'd figure out a way to get her on her side, somehow. "Oh, and we've been friends since the middle of fourth year, just in case you were still wondering." That was such a lie. She covered it up well, though, knowing that one more lie might just push the littlw Davies girl over the edge.

Natalie had decided not to be a follower but try and help Lilly, Be her friend if she would allow it that was, Natalie Shrugged and said "Im so sorry.. I just get kinda bitchy and moody sometimes" She replied when Lilly said "Oh, no need to get angry. Weren't we just having a civil conversation?" Natalie blushed at her rudeness, She was like that, She had too much common sense to fight, Or argue, Natalie was to nice for that, Her parents had always told her she had a heart of gold, But a brain that was Stubborn and Moody


Natalie looked at Lilly as she answered her question, For all Nat knew she was lying through her pretty little mouth. "Middle of fourth year... That Sounds.... Cool" she said Plaintively. Then she Actually took it upon herself to give Lilly a smile. Not a huge one, But enough to tell her she was not going to fight with her anymore "So what are you doing in hogsmead today?" Natalie asked not really caring how disgusting Lilly thought she was , She might as well try and be civil twords her.

And Natalie's sister thought Lilly wouldn't give her the time of day, she laughed in her head, Boy was she right. Lilly seemed to hate Natalie's guts already.

Lily looked at Natalie at the strange turn in conversation. It seemed that Natalie actually wanted to be her friend. Maybe she should tell her sister, and for the life of her she couldn't remember the girl's name, to tell her all about what she was doing for Lily. That would be good. She would tell the girl to butter it up, of course, but that didn't mean anything to her. She didn't care if the girl had to lie through the skin of her teeth, she would do what she said, or she would end up like Elaina, and no one wanted to end up like her; kicked out of Lily's group and completely socially destroyed.

"You could say that." She said with her fake smile. "I'm going shopping; I'm probably going to head out to muggle London, too. But in Hogsmeade, I'm heading over to that little jewlery shop, Madame Tift's Jewelers?" Lily threw out the name of the expensive, upper-scale jewelry shop further along Hogsmeade with ease. "I'm also going shoe shopping, maybe even get some new outfits to match." She said, and then named a few other expensive, upper-scale stores. She was a designer girl, one that was expensive from head to toe. "Why are you here today?" Lily asked, not really caring what her answer was, but asking back because she had nothing else to say.

Natalie Looked over to the store she was pointing at, then back to Lilly " Stop that" she said as she smiled a fake smile "I know your faking so no need to pretend" . Natalie looked at her wondering if she would get mad at her, Then she pulled her hair into a high pony tail with her side bangs to the left, Natalie did have a lot of money, Lilly's parents were not the only rich people here, She looked at Lilly pondering if she should ask if she could join in the shopping. She did need new clothes, And was in desperate need for a make over


Natalie then answered Lillys question "Oh me?, Im just walking around i was going to buy some new clothes, Im not too sure though Clothes shopping is not my forte Im good with shoes though" she said plainly, It was the truth she always pieced out horrible clothes, The clothing she was wearing right now was the epitome of her closet, Witch was pretty sad considering her sisters style, She was like Lilly but uglier.. No offense to her little sis, But it was true, Plus all her designer clothes were fake, At least Natalie had Real Designer things, Not a lot mind you, But real non the less

"Would you mind if i tagged along," She asked Lilly "No lying though, I want the truth". Natalie said to Lilly, True it would probably be something along the lines of "Ew no" Or "Sorry. but i cant be seen in public with you". The funny thing was Natalie was not even that ugly, She was prettier than her little sister, To say the least.Maybe Lilly would say yes then ditch her.

But who knew what Lilly would do?

Lily raised an eyebrow, looking at Natalie. This girl was quite annoying, actually. She seemed so...unique...it annoyed Lily. Lily was used to clones and fakes and bitches and liars; regular people were just weird to her. "Would you rather I smirk or smile?" Lily asked, though she didn't even give the girl a chance to answer. "I thought so." Lily kept up the smile. She didn't really care either way, but at least the smile was...slightly better than her candy-coated-evil little smirk.

Lily almost laughed. "Don't you understand how the Queen B., and everyone else, works?" She asked. "Nothing you're told is the truth. It's all thinly-veiled-insults, half-lies, half-truths, downright rudeness, or gossip wars." Lily said with a smirk. "That's how it's always been. I'm sure you would've found out sooner or later, but surely before you left Hogwarts. Everyone does." Lily was going to make it seem like she was trying to help Natalie. Maybe that would work. "Sure, you can tag along. I'll treat you." She said with the same, fake old smile. She waited for Natalie to respond, knowing that she'd be shocked by Lily's unexpected honesty, but she couldn't find it in herself not to think of the whole thing as amusing.

Natalie was about to answer but nooo. Queen Lilly had to talk. She bit her tongue. "Yes i know how they work, But obviously Im not a big fan of how it works" she said back calmly Then Lilly went on, She was telling the truth, She never skipped a beat. this made Natalie Realize that Lilly was only half true "Lilly, Not everyone works like that, When i say things i mean them, They arnt half truth's or half lie's or whatever you said. "Im trying to be friends with you and your just pushing me away" She muttered the last part under her breath Hoping she did not hear it


Natalie twirled the end of her ponytail and got up with Lilly "Thanks for letting me come along" she said straightened out her coat, as she did so she dropped her bracelet, It was one that her father had given her last year , It was gold and had a heart charm on it. Natalie picked it up and placed it in her pocket carefully. Then looked at Lilly, "So. um you wanna lead the way" she asked

Lily snorted. "No, really? I didn't realize." She rolled her eyes. It didn't matter if Natalie didn't like it. She'd have to be taught how to roll with the punches. Lily let out a fake little laugh, and hid the disturbed nature that she immediately felt when Natalie had said she wasn't like that. Sure, she wasn't like that. Yeah right. Lily didn't believe that for one second. She wasn't one to trust easily; everyone knew that. Most Slytherins were like that, anyways. "Of course, you mean everything you say." Lily agreed in a patronizing tone.

Then, when they stood, she saw a bracelet fall out of Natalie's pocket. She saw a little heart made out of gold, but felt curious. "What was that? Who is it by?" She asked. She loved expensive jewelry, she was one person that just loved spending money on things like jewelry, clothes, shoes, and whatever else she felt like. She started to walk, not waiting for Natalie but letting her catch up, and continued to talk. "We're heading to Madame Tift's, first. I had a few pieces on hold, that were supposed to be picked up by a friend of mine to be given to me for my birthday, but since it passed, I have to get them myself." She said with an eye roll. Scorpius hadn't picked up what she had wanted, and neither had one of her other favorite minions, Calliope Black. She shoved them from her head though, and continued to walk.

Natalie Laughed, Not a fake one but a sincere one. Then Lilly asked "What was that? Who is it by?" She bit her lip and took it out of her pocket and put it in lillys hand "My father got it made here at Madam Tifts, It was custom made for me" Natalie said pointing to the small inscription on the back with her name on it. It was the most precious thing Natalie had ever had, Her father had it made for the day of her birthday, She got it last year.


Natalie walked behind lilly then made her pace a bit faster so she was beside, So she was not following per say, But With instead, Natalie Opened the door for Lilly and entered the shop.
"What kind of friend forgets to get you a present.. Thats just stupid" Natalie said.

Natalie looked around the store, It was filled with beautiful jewelry, One piece caught her eye, It was a charm bracelet, It had 2 charms one that read "Love" and the other charm was a beautifully crafted snowflake encrusted with diamonds, She looked at the price, It was in her price range.. Well everything here was to be exact. She waited until Lilly and an employee were talking and Natalie went up and told the cashier to Wrap it up, She gave her the money and slipped the Beautifuly wrapped Black and white box into her pocket.

Then Natalie Went to rejoin Lilly,
