VAMPIRES!
If the blood isn't nearly all drained from the person before they are turned its very painful they can be in pain for days. Depending on the person.
If the blood is nearly all drained its less painful and can be over in a matter of minutes to an hour. Depending on the person.

Ancient vampires, and those turned by ancients, can only turn someone once every ten years. As their blood is the rarest, this is also to keep ones from getting the rare, powers. During that tenth year, if the vampire is female she can turn two, into a vampire. If the vampire is male he can only turn one. The reason behind this unknown. Regular vampires can change someone once every five years, after their first year of being a vampire. Gender of the vampire doesn't matter for regular vampires as its still only one.

Vampires DO NOT SPARKLE!
A bit of sun is okay, from day to extreme sun exposure kills anything more then 1-3 hours can be painful death as they are cold blooded.

They can run really fast and are stronger then humans,
heal faster then humans; if they get cut it's healed in a matter of moments.
They can also read the thoughts of other vampires and humans. Most don’t really use this power that much, as it gets really annoying. This is called Telepathy, this goes on into blocking thoughts too; vampires can block thoughts from other vampires, and those skilled in legilimency.
They can feel other people's feelings from time to time, this is called empathy.
The rarest power is one that has somewhat started dying out other then the few that were turned by ancients, or those turned by ancients the ability to learn a language just by a kiss. This does however weed its self out of the vampire community, as time goes on, right now there are only handful of these left. This is called a linguist.

If the witch or wizard was something like a Veela, Metamorphmagus, Animagus, Seer, those powers carry on into their vampire life. Veela Vampires tend to be more lustful then normal ones. The other’s do not affect the vampire in any other way.

AND once they are turned they can only have sex with other vampires
As when really turned on they tend to crave blood and lots of it so they can kill in that form.
And as it wouldn't hurt another vampire to be bitten by one of its own kind.
Vampire sex can last hours-days. Depending on the sex drive of the two.
They can be very sexual.
Two vampires can mate, and have vampire children, if a vampire can have sex with human and not kill them or turn them into a vampire, and the human is female then, they will give birth to a half vampire, but unfortunately the mother of the half vampire will die during child birth.

There are two types of bloodlust of a vampire. Once they pass their 5th year and with great training of their masters they are able to control it, but then there are the ones that choose to not live in society and feed on the blood of a human. The first bloodlust, in control is when a vampire chooses to hunt. Once in the hunt mode, their eyes are a crimson red and their senses heighten. To approach a vampire in its bloodlust is your own death if they are in complete control. Some do vary but others choose to let their bloodlust control them. The ones that don't care if they harm are always in a stage of bloodlust and show it in their eyes. When in a constant state of this their pupils are surrounded by a crimson red.

When it comes to the younger more inexperienced vampires, any scent of of blood will send them to that state. Depending on who or how their were raised as a bloodsucker, depends on how they act. Some will run and hide from the smell if it's someone they hold dear or when they know the consequences they face could be death. Other times they choose to let it control them and feed off them. A vampire in bloodlust is to be taken with the highest precaution, NEVER assume they will be in control because even the most ancient can lose control.

Garlic doesn’t harm them in fact most of them enjoy the smell of it.
Crucifixes does nothing to a vampire in fact some wear them around their necks, to keep the inner vampire bloodlust at bay.
They are Immortal
A stake through the heart kills them.
Getting their head chopped off kills them


WEREWOLVES!
If a werewolf gets bitten by a vampire they are no longer a werewolf, but a vampire instead. If a vampire gets bitten by werewolf nothing happens. Although the likelihood of the two being anywhere near each other close enough to bite, is rare, as most have the natural instinct to hate each other.

Werewolves are created when a human is bitten by a werewolf, during the full moon. There is currently nothing that can stop a werewolf from changing into a beastly creature once a month.

Werewolfism can be genetic only if both the male and female are werewolves. Then their children will become a moon child. If only one of the parents is a werewolf their children will not inherit the traits.

Some werewolves, those who have trained themselves to embrace the wolf within, or those who were born as one, have the ability to force a transformation when the moon isn’t full. Usually when they get really angry, as they can no longer control their emotions and become irrational and unstoppable.

Most of the time werewolves don't have conscious thought of their friends and humans around them while they're transformed. A human is a human, no matter how they're related to the werewolf. (See bellow about werewolves and sex as this is the only exception) They don’t normally go after animals in their werewolf forms, just humans as their natural instinct is to make more werewolves.

Werewolves, even when the moon isn't full, have werewolf traits. Their eyes tend to change to yellow or a deeper shade of their natural color when their mood changes from content to angry.
They are much stronger than normal humans, and often think with emotions instead of the mind. At least for those who accept the beast.
They have better hearing and sense of smell, and can pick out other werewolves and even vampires in a crowd of people.
They also tend to be a bit agitated and more aggressive as the full moon approaches.
Most werewolves have at thing for chocolate, as calms this aggressiveness to a point.

It has been known that during and around the time that moon is getting full, werewolves tend to be more aroused, and will often go seeking for a mate. There are rumors of werewolves having their way with humans in their werewolf forms, and never biting or turning them. This is generally just male werewolves with human females.

They are not immortal however things can happen to make them immortal. If a Veela gets bitten by a werewolf they become immortal has something to do with their blood. No other creatures have been reported to become immortal after being bitten by a werewolf.

Silver, is the only thing that can kill werewolf in its beastly form. Silver can also be used to hurt or torment a werewolf in its human form, however its not fatal in human form unless they eat or drink it.

VEELA!
In its pure form, a Veela is not considered a human, it is considered a creature. There aren’t many of these pure Veela’s left as the breed with humans. Even pure Veela aren’t always pure. They can found as vampires and werewolves.

Veela can only be female. There are no known cases of a Veela male. However a male if he has a mother that is a pure Veela, he is a carrier of the veela traits and can pass it on if he has a daughter. She would be a half veela. If she had a daughter they would be a Quarter Veela, if they had a daughter that's
One-eighth. After that it just fades away

Most Veela have silver-blond hair but if they are crossed with something else their hair tends to be darker. It can also be darker if they are from places like Asia.

They are really beautiful, and are often used in quidditch cup torments as cheerleaders and leave men drooling in their seats. When Veela are angry, they transform into a fighting creatures. Their faces turn into cruel-beaked bird heads, long scaly wings burst from their shoulders, and they can launch balls of fire from their hands.

Veela affecting women. It's rare that a Veela has an affect on a woman, but usually it's only if the women themselves are attracted to women, or the Veela is attracted to woman.

ANIMAGUS!
The animal chooses the wizard, much like wands.
Can only turn into one animal.
Becoming an Animagus is a very advanced form of transfiguration and it takes many years to become one.
Each Animagus bears an identifying mark on their animal form that is caused by something on their human body. This may be a physical trait like dental structure, or an acquired trait such as glasses.
All Animagi, by law, are required to register with the Ministry of Magic.

METAMORPHMAGUS!
Can change their appearance at will, but obviously not to the point of looking like a different person. However, they can change things like their nose, eye color, hair color, etc.
Some Metamorphmagi have been known to train themselves to have animal ears and tails. They can’t however turn into a full animal without training to be an Animagus.
Although it is rare for someone to become an Animagus if they are a Metamorphagus.
These are really rare and not really genetic, they are more or less just random throughout the wizarding community.

LEGILIMENS!
Legilimens can read the minds of others. This power also takes quite a few years to perfect. However, they cannot read the minds of skilled Occlumens, or a vampire that chooses not to let their thoughts be known.

OCCLUMENS!

Occlumens can block out Legilimens from reading their thoughts. It is quite hard to become an Occlumens and takes a few years of practice and training, and it is a hard skill to master completely.

SEERS!
Seers range from being just extremely intuitive, to being able to have actual visions or make predictions of the future.
They use such methods as reading tea leaves and gazing into crystal balls to predict the future.
Often a Seer will go into a trance to make their prediction, and will not recall making it afterwards.
Simpler visions can be had during meditation or in the form of dreams.
