Calvin Morgenstern truly can be a outgoing boy that is until his father is around. While his father is around Calvin immediately becomes a quiet boy with the lack of confidents to speak his mind. Like most people Calvin his truly intimidated by his father and can never be his true self around him no matter how much he wants to. Also around his father much to his mother's displeasure Calvin is to good of an actor, very mature for his age and never talks unless he is spoken to.

Away from his father though Calvin is very outgoing and loves to goof around with his friends. He also is very creative when it comes to writing his own music and very modest when someone compliments it especially if its someone his father works with. Also Calvin has a bit of a hard time expressing his true feelings for others unless its through song besides this its practically impossible for him, but besides this Calvin stands up for others and is truly a loyal class mate and house mate.

Calvin can also be a bit of a perfectionist because of the ways his father had taught him when he was younger along with the fact that he can persuade people pretty easily. Taking from his mother's side of the family Calvin can also be very stubborn, but never shows it in fact the only way you can tell is when his face slightly tightens up, but besides this you would say Calvin is rather calm for a boy his age.

history;; Calvin was born on May 1st while his parents where visiting some old friends in Italy. Growing up they soon learned that not only was he the heir of the family, but also his mother was unable to have any other children. Starting right away on his son and heir William trained Calvin to be the son any pureblood wizard would love to have. In the end thats exactly what Calvin became a well mature, intimated by his father, persuasive, charming, well mannered, quiet and loyal boy much to his mother's displeasure. He was practically perfect at his act, but there was just one tiny little problem Calvin was gay.

His mother had been the first to realize it in his third year when most of her pureblood friends would talk about the small crushes their own sons had on some of the pureblood girls they met at Hogwarts while Calvin seemed more focused on his new found love of music. Shrugging it off that he was just a late bloomer it wasn't long until he started talking about a boy a year older about him that she stared to realize that her only son might actually be gay. Slightly worried on how her husband would react to find out the heir of the Morgenstern Family was gay she kept it quiet to herself that is until one day she received a letter from Calvin telling her that he was in fact gay and how the boy he had been talking about had asked him out and that they where now in fact boyfriends. Shocked at the news she quickly hid the letter from her husband until she had time to burn it, but until then William ended up finding it and went straight to Hogwarts to talk to his son about it.

After the talk it seemed that William excepted the fact that his only son was gay, but continued to do things in hope that his son would soon wake up and be straight like the rest of the pureblood boys even thought he knew that that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. But it was clear to William along with everyone else at Hogwarts that Calvin was deeply in love with his boyfriend which was why when the break up happened it was such a surprise. In the end people found out that Calvin's ex was moving away with his family and would no longer attend Hogwarts, so on the happy note the two continued to be friends and wrote to each other often and their once romantic love turned into more of a bromance than anything else. Continuing to go through his years at Hogwarts Calvin found it even harder than before to find a boyfriend after his first love which shouldn't be much if a surprise considering most of the guys who are gay are still in the closet and looking for more of a one night stand than anything else, but Calvin still believes his 'Mr. Right' is out there waiting for him somewhere.

roleplay sample; Hearing the familiar sound of his room mates getting up Calvin couldn't help, but groan wondering why they were up so early and then he remembered it was a Hogsmeade Weekend and that he had a date with his boyfriend that day. Quickly Opening his eyes he jumped out of bed and started going through his trunk while his room mates slightly rolled there eyes, but still smiled at him as they all left the room. Deciding to go with a pair of well fitted jeans, a navy blue button down that was slightly undone along with a hot pink loosened tie with his favorite pair of hot pink sunglasses that he got for Christmas from one of the Gryffindor girls in his year he then quickly put on a pair of navy blue dress shoes. Glancing at his appearance in a mirror he quickly messed with his hair before heading down to the common room and then out the portrait only to be pulled in by someone outside the common room.

Turning towards the person he smiled when his eyes met his boyfriend's own pale blue eyes and kissed him softly on the lips before saying "Good morning Ri." Riley finally loosening his grip around Calvin's waist took Calvin's hand and as they made there way towards the Great Hall replied "And to you Cal." Walking down the stair case they soon made their way towards the Gryffindor Table in the Great Hall and sat down with a group of their friends. Glancing up as the mail arrived Calvin watched for his black barn owl, Gypsy, a bit nervously only to feel Riley squeezing his hand questioningly. Turning towards his boyfriend he finally said "I wrote to my mother a few days ago and I told her about us." Nodding in understanding Riley also glanced through the millions of owls who started towards the owners with their mail.

With the last owl leaving Calvin let out a sign of slight relief, but quickly tensed as the Great Hall door opened and a familiar voice yelled "Calvin William Morgenstern!" Paling Calvin ignored the smirks from most of the Slytherins and the worried look from Riley as he looked towards the door were his father stood staring straight at him. Gulping Calvin whispered to Riley "Maybe todays not such a good day to go to Hogsmeade." Riley who nodded in agreement whispered back "Agreed. Besides we can always reschedule, but right now you need to go and talk to your father." Nodding Calvin didn't get up until Riley gave him a bit of a push before starting towards his father with his eyes staring at his feet making his way across the hall and towers his father who was still staring at him.

Finally meeting his father's eyes as he walked out of the Great Hall he saw not only pure anger in the eyes but also confusion and something else he couldn't name right away. Looking back down he saw his letter to his mother in the corner of his eye and immediately he knew what exactly his father was here to talk about and lets just say he was dreading the conversation already as his father closed the Great Hall door as he himself walked out of the room and then pulled Calvin towards the doors going outside of the castle and towards the grounds to find somewhere more private to talk about the letter in his father's hand.
