Fluttering her eyes open a tad bit she looked up at Benny as he told the tale of him freaking out when she got drug back into the dark abyss of the lake. It was funny, but utterly sweet that he would actually freak out because of her. It really showed how much he truly loved her and how he would risk anything to keep her safe. Chuckling, it was too much at the moment and she let out a ragged hard cough that hurt her lungs and her chest. "Well, no reason to worry about me. I'm tough." She said trying to make it a lighter subject so he wouldn't have to feel bad about the whole situation. "I think it was sweet you freaked out that much. I know my life is in good hands." She said trying to chuckle a bit more but it came out in a cough. Things were starting to get colder and Emi could feel that a fever was on it's way. If she were lucky, she would just get the flu and not develop pneumonia. Shivering, she looked up at Benny with half opened eyes and coughed lightly while covering her mouth. "Promise you'll stay here with me all night? I want you here." She said knowing that he would, but the reassuring promise was nice to hear.

Benny grinned and said"i know... you are a tough cookie... but i have to worry about you,dear." he couldn't help it. It was very scary for him to see her pulled down into the lake. But it was over now... and she was safe. That what mattered to him. that she was safe and with him. "i freaked out because i love you and it scared me to be honest.I thought we almost lost you hun. " Sure he was worried about her getting sick, but if she gets sick, he would be there trying to make her feel better. "of course i would stay here all night with you. Nowhere i rather be, than with you. "

It was nice to get that reassurance from him that he would stay there. Her shivering got a bit worse and the coughing heightened but not too terribly bad. It wasn't something that should be given special attention by any means. Sighing, she closed her eyes again and cuddled up close to Benny. "I'm glad. Because I wouldn't want you any other place but here with me." she said feeling herself start to drift off. Quietly and with exhaustion setting in, she breathed out, "I'm so lucky to have you Benny." Pulling up on the covers, she covered herself up from neck on down to keep her even warmer. Sleep was pulling at Emi and it wasn't too long before she had succumbed to it and fallen in a complete sleep.
